The Tale Of Three Sisters Chapter 61

Margie sat on the nearest chair unable to go to the kitchen, she was breathing heavily and her body was aching all over.
"What's going on?" she murmured panicking. She only had arthritis but she never experienced something like this...especially the shortness of breath!
Ella emerged from the kitchen to check on her aunt. She found her slumped on the chair, her hands clutching on her chest, she looks like she was struggling to breathe.
"Aunt! What is happening to you!?" she exclaimed in fear and went to her side quickly.
Margie's chest was heaving. "C-child...give me some of your soup...maybe I will feel better," she said.
"Okay, Aunt!" Ella flew to the kitchen and grabbed the bowl with the soup. She returned to the living room and put the bowl of soup in the vacant chair, she began feeding her aunt with the soup.
Margie tried her best to chew the vegetable, after ten spoonfuls of delicious soup, she feels her energy returning and she feels much better compared earlier. Maybe, she was just hungry? But what she feels earlier is like death knocking on her door especially when she has difficulty breathing.
That was weird!
"Wait, Aunt, I'll get some rice in the kitchen!" Ella said and darted to the table nearby where the food was located. She scooped rice from the platter and put it in the bowl and went hurriedly back to her aunt's side.
With trembling hands, she continues feeding her aunt with the rice and soup along with some bits of vegetables. Huge relief washed over her after seeing her aunt eating well and no longer suffering from difficulty in breathing.
"Are you okay, Aunt?" Ella asked worriedly.
Margie nodded her head. "Yeah. I feel much better now that my stomach was filled with food. I guessed I'm just hungry earlier, it was just false alarm," Margie explained.

Ella released a deep sigh. Watching her aunt struggling to breathe as if she was dying, that alarming scene scared the hell out of her.
A few minutes later, Margie was done eating, she looked at her niece's worried face. "Stop worrying, child. I'm still here. I'm still alive!" she was trying to console the frightened girl.
Ella was shaking her head, her eyes shimmering with tears. "I'm scared of losing you, Aunt! I don't know what to do anymore if something bad happens to you!" she expressed her fears, she can't help it. After losing her two sisters, she was scared to face the truth that she could also lose her Aunt Margie anytime.
Margie rubbed the girl's back affectionately. "Hush now, I'm still breathing, relax! Give me a glass of water, child. I'm done eating and I'm going to rest in my bed," she said because she can feel the pain slowly returning in her body. But she doesn't want the child to panic again.
Ella went to the kitchen and returned with a glass of water. She holds the glass for her aunt to drink.
Margie was done drinking the water. "Child, help me to my bed," she said.
"Yes, Aunt," Ella answered.
They entered the room and Ella helped her aunt settled properly on the bed, she grabbed the blanket and wrapped it around her aunt's body.
Margie looked at her niece. "You can go now and clean the dishes," she instructed.
Ella stared at her aunt for a few seconds. "Are you sure, you're okay, Aunt?" she asked worriedly. "I still want to be with you, I'll wash the dishes later after you fall asleep," she stated.
Margie nods her head. "I'm feeling better now, child," she lied. "You go now and clean the kitchen, just come back later if you are done washing the dishes," she said.

Ella sighed and exited the room.
The moment her niece was gone, Margie winced in pain, fat tears emerged from her eyes. She felt her flesh and bones were being squeezed tightly and it's so painful. "Aargh! It's so painful!" she spoke aloud but not too loud for her niece to hear. She bit her lower lip trying hard not to scream in pain.
Margie dug her fingers into the blanket, panicking, alarmed by the extreme pain wracking her whole body, then her chest!...she can't get air into her chest...she think her lungs will explode...she had a hard time breathing!
Then slowly she saw darkness around her and felt her body collapsing. She passed out due to extreme pain.
Meanwhile, in the kitchen.
Ella washed the plates, the bowls, spoons, and other utensils in a hurry. She was reluctant to leave her aunt alone in her bed but she was persistent so she has to leave the room.
After tidying the whole kitchen, she went back to her aunt's room to check on her. She found her aunt sleeping peacefully beneath the blanket.
She gazed at her aunt's serene face.
She went out of the room, locked the doors and windows, and brought a chair inside so that she can watch over her aunt while she was sleeping. She wants to be there on her aunt's side if she needs something.
She slumped into the chair, rested her head in her arms, and closed her eyes.
Two hours later, she was slowly dozing off.
She was dreaming in her sleep, she was lost in the forest and found herself knocking on the door of the castle that appeared out of nowhere, then the door opened by a handsome guy, she was welcomed inside.
The castle is not what it seemed. Instead of a grand living room, she was transported into a garden filled with blooming flowers. Then she saw hundred of colorful butterflies floating in the air, then suddenly she heard a scream coming from somewhere...
Then she was awakened from her dream by the sound of her aunt coughing...and when she opened her eyes...she saw her aunt vomiting...!
She stared at the vomit...it's color red!
Oh my God! Her aunt was vomiting blood! She saw lots of blood in the bed!
"Aunt Margie! What happened to you!?" she shouted as she stared at her aunt's lifeless face. Due to her shock, fear, and panic her body shut down and she collapsed on the floor.
