The Tale Of Three Sisters Chapter 53

Esmeralda stared at the window of the house, looking at the leaves of the tree, swaying by the gentle breeze of the wind.
She remembered so well how carefree her life was in the palace playing with her friend the tree when she was still a teen.
When she turned into an adult, she met the devil's son in the forest outside the Nephilim kingdom when the tree brought her there. They fell in love at first sight, his name is Rexx, he was born out of the devil and a woman of human origin, a hybrid.
Magnus the leader of the vampires has been haunting Rexx and finally captured him, killed him, and also killed the Devil.
Her relationship with Rexx didn't last long, it was cut short, too early. But Rexx was Esmeralda's one true love and the reason why she imprisoned herself in this castle for revenge so that Magnus's vampire descendant will suffer for a long time with no chance of attaining the freedom to roam the world outside.
She was transported back to the memory lane to enjoy once again how nice and sweet Rexx to her. He doesn't act like a devil when he's around her, he acts like a human, so gentle and so sweet towards her and so devilishly handsome!
They were a perfect couple in her eyes!
She was suddenly awakened from her reverie when Kate sat upright, looking at her.
"Granny...why are you sitting beside me?" asked Kate. She holds her head with her hands for a moment, it aches for a few seconds.
Esmeralda smiled. "I see... you finally remembered me! That's good! Welcome back to my house!" she said warmly.
"Huh? Why? Did I went somewhere?" Kate asked in bewilderment.
"You didn't remember that you fall... and got rescued by the bird, then fall into the arms of King Voyen of the Centaur race. Then your memory was deleted by Kedes and replace with the memory of the King, you were about to marry him. But on the night of your wedding, the light went out and you were abducted from your wedding banquet. You were taken captive by the vampires..." Esmeralda narrated Kate's adventure in a sing-song voice.

Kate's eyes widened and comprehension finally returns to her. "Yes, I remembered everything now! Oh my God! Thank you so much for saving me, Granny!" she cried.
Esmeralda patted her shoulder. "It's okay, no need to cry, you're already safe here with me," she reassured her.
"B-but...Granny...what if they will take me back?" Kate asked in a trembling voice. She remembered so well how the king of the centaur race nearly sexually violated her and she can still remember that pointed fangs of that vampire who drink her blood greedily against her will. They are evil beings that she doesn't want to see ever again.
In their hands, she felt so powerless! She likens herself to an ant and they were like giants that can easily crush her.
Her body can't stop shaking after she remembered what happened to her in their hands. She hated them so much!
"I want to get my revenge, Granny!" Kate exclaimed suddenly.
Esmeralda starts laughing in merriment. "Child...you have no power. Don't try thinking of revenge when you can't even defend yourself from their touches and advances," she lectured her.
Kate pouted. "Yeah, right. I have no power, all I can do is keep sulking here inside your house and wait until I grow old and die," she grumbled.
Esmeralda stopped laughing.
"Give me some power, Granny! Please!" Kate was at it again.
Esmeralda raised a brow. "Huh? What are you going to do with my power?"
Hatred was flashing in Kate's eye. "I will burn the centaur land and also the vampire's domain!" she declared in a defiant tone.
Esmeralda's laughter continued. "Oh my...you're so brave!" she said between laughs.
Kate releases a deep sigh. No matter what she would say to granny, the old woman wouldn't listen to her. To her, she was just a nuisance. But despite that, granny is still way better than those vampires and centaur people, at least granny is taking good care of her, protecting her and she's not doing anything to harm her.

She hugged granny tightly. "Thank you so much, Granny, for rescuing me from those evil ones!"
Esmeralda smiled and rubbed the girl's back gently. "It's alright, child. Calm down and relax, your nightmare is over now."
Kate released Esmeralda from her hug, she smiled fondly at her savior. "From now on, I promise to you Granny, that I will no longer venture near the edge of the land. I will no longer give you any problem," she said in a serious tone.
Esmeralda smiled. "Good," she responded. "Hmm, child, I want to ask you a question regarding your parents. Have you seen your parents' faces before they passed away? Can you still remember what your parents look like?"
Kate nodded her head. "Yes, of course!"
Esmeralda asked, "Do your parents look like you and your sisters?"
Kate pondered Esmeralda's questioned for a few minutes. "Hmm, I don't think so. My sisters and I don't resemble my parents at all when it comes to appearance," she answered truthfully. "Why did you ask me that question?" she asked in confusion.
Esmeralda smiled and shook her head. "Ah...don't mind my question, dear." She rose to her feet and sauntered towards her room. "I'm going to rest in my bed for a while, don't do anything loud that can awaken me. Stay quiet, if you go out of the house, stay near the tree!" she reminded her.
"Yep, Granny! I'll behave, rest well," Kate answered promptly looking at the door curiously.
"Good!" Esmeralda said, she pushed open the door and entered the room, and closed the door behind her.
Kate was tiptoeing, trying to see what's inside the granny's room, but the door was shut on her face before she can see anything.
Shrugging, she settled back in the mattress and recalled everything that occurred to her outside Esmeralda's house. She knew, once she will fall into the hands of the king and the vampires again, they will never let her go! She must not linger outside for too long and if she wants to go out, she must stay near the house or the tree.
She learned her lesson well.
She must preserve herself so that she can find her sister in the castle, alive!

Starchild
“It’s life’s illusions I recall. I really don’t know life at all.” from the song, Both Sides Now, by Joni Mitchell Starchild is an adventure novel set within an understanding of reality that is rooted in Eastern spiritual traditions. It takes as its starting point experiments in remote viewing that were genuinely undertaken by the American military in the nineteen-nineties under the name of the Stargate Project. It then imagines how a more advanced attempt to weaponise the capabilities of consciousness might have been developed in the present day.The story then explores how Ultimate Reality might respond to such a threat.Deep, elemental forces thus bring together Samantha Martin and Sahadeva Varma, old colleagues from the Stargate Project, to avert the apocalyptic consequences of this military attempt to weaponise consciousness. This fast-paced story spans genres including romance, action, adventure, science fiction and more. Although this story is based on concepts drawn from established spiritual traditions, these have sometimes been extrapolated to the point of very extreme speculation for the needs of an adventure story.Much of the underlying philosophy, however, as explained in the dharma talks given by Samantha Martin, is paraphrased from the guidance of respected spiritual teachers. Scheduling: Starchild is a previously unpublished novel of one hundred thousand words which was serialised in weekly instalments over twenty-five weeks from 15th November 2021 to the 29th April 2022. Each instalment contains five chapters – an average of approximately four thousand words in each instalment. I'm Sure It'll be Fine! ...right?
We live to die, and die to live again. This Cycle continues, neither to Begin nor End. Ever Beginning, never to End, we come to the story of our Unusual Friend. The Gods are as varied and unique as the mortals that worship them. Some are kind, others are fluffy, and (given the nature of the multiverse) a few are Eldrich Abominations of Unspeakable Horror. But that's fine, those few tend to mind their own business... At least until an Eldrich Abomination (an interdimensional cosmic slime-mold specifically) gets itself devoured by a Lich during a ritual to obtain Godhood... Especially because anyone, even a Lich, who's willing to eat an ENTIRE COSMIC SLIME-MOLD for any reason, even godhood, is undoubtedly a madman...who's now set his unsightly gaze upon replacing (likely by devouring) the Godess of Magic herself! She could probably use some help...if only to avoid touching the slimy Lichgod directly. Also, the Eldrich Gods are protesting these events in their usual manner...by trying to destroy all of Creation.
