After a few minutes in that grueling position, the chanting and ritual finally comes to end. This time the three elders were already showing fatigue on their physical form as their power was nearing to depletion...but there's still one more thing needed to be done to complete the sacrifice...one of the elders picked up the golden knife nearby and cut his wrist and fresh blood flowed into the bowl, the second elder followed suit and the third elder repeated the process.

The cut on their wrist was healed instantly a few minutes later.

After the blood of the three elders was being collected, they began another ritual...and soon enough the blood was slowly turning into a pearl-like object, not a single trace of blood can be seen inside the bowl.

The leader of the elders touches Princes Esmeralda's shoulder. "Open your eyes child, and ingest this pearl. We entrusted the life of the inhabitants of these castle into your hands. If your heart stops beating, they will also die along with you. You are now the keeper and guardian of this castle, its future and longevity lie in your hands. Anyone can enter this place but no one can get out alive, that's the golden rule!"

Princess Esmeralda opened her eyes and stared at the pearl-like object in the bowl, without hesitation she picked up the pearl and put it in her mouth and swallowed it without batting her eyelash, surprisingly the solid-like pearl tasted soft and sweet in her throat.

The leader looked at his brothers. "It's now the time, brothers!" he said.

The two elders nodded their heads. "Yes...the time has come! Let's do it!" they agreed in unison.

The elders hold hands again...They disappeared from the house including Princess Esmeralda.

And the four of them suddenly appeared in the air...above the confused crowd, they looked at the bewildered faces of the creatures below them.

The creatures looked up above and stared at the four apparitions floating in the air.

The leader of the elders addressed them.

"Listen, everyone...!

Welcome to your new home! As you can see you are now living in the dimension that my brother and I have created. We have exhausted all our powers just to transport you all here in this castle. The races who killed humans and other creatures without mercy are the ones who are being transported here.

This is the only way to ensure that the peace-loving creatures outside of this castle can enjoy peace for a long time.

We sacrifice our lives to imprisoned you all here so that you can reflect on your sins. Instead of killing you all in one go, we decided to make you suffer and feel sorry for yourselves and feel the anguish on being confined and isolated from the rest of the inhabitants outside. This is the ultimate punishment that you have to pay for slaughtering the innocents! You have no respect for other creatures' lives other than yourselves!

No one can leave this place alive!

We are leaving Princess Esmeralda here of the Nephilim kingdom to be your guardian. She intervened on your behalf and willing to carry on the heavy burden in her shoulder just to give you more years of survival.

If you plan to kill her or avenge her, you must remember that the moment her heart stops beating, you will die along with her.

Princess Esmeralda ingested the pearl of life and death made from our blood. The pearl controls the invisible barrier, once the pearl can no longer detect the beating of her heart, the pearl will die and starts activating the self destruct mechanism we incorporated in the formation of the invisible barrier that we erected around the castle, the invisible barrier will start burning every inhabitant in this castle, and this dimension we created inside the castle will come to end and the castle will crumble into ashes.

If you want to live longer, don't harm Princess Esmeralda in any way, or else the moment her heart stops beating you'll die together with her."

The leader was done addressing the crowd.

The spectator erupted into protest. Astonishment and disbelief gripped their faces.

The three elders looked at each other and held hands. They began spinning in a circle and slowly their bodies began disintegrating forming white particles floating in the air...then all the particles assembled into a white pearl and landed on Esmeralda's palm.

Esmeralda sweeps her gaze at the creatures below her for a few minutes... then she disappeared from their sight.
