Xenon was jumping up and down in glee, while Lothaire was sitting on the couch looking bored to death.

Xenon can't contain his excitement...

Finally, they already have Kate in their clutches. And she was a beauty just like her elder sister Ivy. Her blood must also be very delicious tasting, he can't wait to sink his fangs into her neck and drink her blood.

"Just calm down, no ones going to take your woman away! Stop whining and stop being a drama king!" Lothaire interjected.

Xenon glared at his younger brother. "You are just being salty because your woman has not arrived in the castle yet!"

Lothaire's face was smirking. "She will come soon...she will start looking for her sister. I will just wait patiently," he said, a gleam of excitement appeared in his eyes.

Xenon remembered what happened during King Voyen's wedding.

The three of them appeared at the wedding venue just in time when Kate was walking towards the wedding banquet where her groom was waiting for her.

Maxwell uses his power by blowing the air from all directions, resulting in the lights off and plunged the entire wedding venue in darkness.

His brother Lothaire, put the king of the centaur race into sleep.

While he put Kate to sleep as well and happily embrace her, transporting them back to the vampires' dwellings.

"Bro, how many days King Voyen will sleep?" he asked.

"Five days the most," replied Lothaire.

"Do you think, he will be able to find out who interrupted his wedding day and turn it into a mess?" asked Xenon.

Lothaire chuckled in amusement. "Why—? Are you afraid that the king of centaur race will come after you and get his woman back?"

Xenon guffawed. "Are you kidding me? I'm not afraid of him! He can try but I won't give him back my woman! Kate is mine and I will fight anyone who will take her away from me," he said bravely.

"Whatever!" Lothaire responded with bored indifference.

"But what about that old hag, Esmeralda? Do you think she will come here to try to find Kate?" Xenon asked all of a sudden.

Lothaire shrugged. "Since you already scattered Kate's scent in other places... then naturally...Esmeralda will start looking for the girl in those places. But she has to spend all her time finding Kate in the wrong places. That serves her right!"

Xenon was laughing hard, imagining Esmeralda poking in the wrong places endlessly is quite hilarious.

Lothaire rose to his feet about to leave the room, that was also the time the door to the room where Kate was held was opening...

Maxwell came out of the door, grinning while looking at his brother's expectant faces.

"How's it is brother?" Xenon inquired.

Maxwell laughed triumphantly. "She is indeed the girl that we're looking for! Her blood tastes delicious and intoxicating just like Ivy. They have the same mysterious blood type. Just that..."

"What is it brother—?" asked Xenon.

"She keeps telling me that her name is Aurora. She keeps demanding that I should return her to her husband, the king of the centaur race. She got so loud that I have to put her back to sleep. Then that's the time I sank my fangs in her arm and tasted her blood which has the same quality that of Ivy," Maxwell explained.

Xenon brows furrowed together. "The last time we know, her name was Kate, how come she's Aurora now? That's strange!"

Lothaire dismissed their conversation. "What's the problem? She can change her name every day, it doesn't matter at all. What is important to us is her blood that will help restore our father to life!"

"You are right, brother," Maxwell agreed.

Xenon was a bit bothered by Kate's claiming of another name. "I think, part of her memories was tampered by someone powerful enough to make her forget everything. What do you think, brothers?"

He looked at his siblings for confirmation.

Lothaire and Maxwell looked at each other and nodded their heads.

"You could be right, brother. But let's not make things complicated right now. I don't care if that woman has a new name. Now that we have her, she can no longer get out from here. She's ours!" Maxwell declared, his eyes flashing with merriment.

Xenon looked at his older brother. "Bro, can you make Kate remember me instead? I don't like it when her heart always yearns for that King Voyen of the centaur race. I hated it!"

Maxwell looked at his brother. "You want me to change her memory? Remembering you only?"

Xenon's eyes were flashing with excitement. "Yesss...please!"

"I'm sorry brother, the only one who can restore her memory or tamper her memory is the one who did it in the first place. It's beyond my capabilities..." Maxwell replied.

"Who wants to taste Kate's blood?" he changed the topic.

"Me!" Xenon said in a loud voice.

"Me too!" Lothaire roared.

"Alright, let's get inside the room," Maxwell said and moved towards the room.

Lothaire and Xenon followed their eldest brother into the room.

"Bro, can I spend a few days with Kate before you imprisoned her in the secret chamber?" Xenon asked.

"Sure, but you must not touch her. We need virgins blood to restore our father to life, always remember that!" Maxwell warned him.

"I understand, bro. I'll keep that in mind!" Xenon responded.

They entered the door and looked at the beautiful woman sleeping on the bed.

Xenon took position on Kate's right side while Lothaire on the left side. They lowered their face into Kate's flesh and their pointed fangs started to come out from their mouth. They immediately sink their fangs into her arms.

Kate moaned in pain in her sleep.

One minute later...

"Enough!" Maxwell shouted angrily at his brothers who seemed to be in a deep trance and becoming addicted to the blood, they look like they don't want to stop.

Xenon and Lothaire finally managed to pull their fangs out of Kate's skin, fresh blood was dripping from their lips.

"That's enough for today. Let the girl rest!" Maxwell said. He touched the wounds on Kate's arms with his fingers and they healed instantly. He addressed his brothers. "The girl can't get out of this room without my consent. This room has magical powers that can hide one's unique scent. Kate's human scent can't be detected by Esmeralda's power as long she remained in this room. So let's keep her inside in this room for the time being until the time we will transfer her to the secret chamber for good."

Xenon and Lothaire nodded their heads in understanding.

"We understand, brother," they said in unison.

"Let's get out of here!" Maxwell said.

The three brothers exited the room.
