The Side Character Turned Villainess Chapter 178

William sighed as he held his head, "I can't believe we are letting you do this."
Dante sneered, "Letting? We aren't letting her do anything."
I may or may not have told them both that I would never talk to them again if they didn't let me take Millie home. I didn't realize just how powerful the cold shoulder can be.
I smiled at them, "It's not that I want to blackmail you two or anything, but you gave me no choice. But trust me! I know I can rehabilitate her."
Dante frowned, "I wonder."
"Just stand there and watch the master work." I smiled at Millie who smiled back. I commanded, "Alright Millie. Now, stop killing."
She giggled, "You're funny Seri."
William's face twitched, "Is that the best you got?"
I shrugged, "It was worth a shot." Seeing his disappointed expression. I frowned, "What? Do you have any better ideas?"
He nodded, "Yes. Throw her in jail."
I rolled my eyes, "No way. I'm not letting this opportunity pass me by. Just think of everything I will be able to learn from her! I might even be saving lives by trying to rehabilitate her."
"No. You are risking more lives by keeping her like this."
I motioned towards Millie who was completely tied up, "How could she possibly get out of this?!"
William raised an eyebrow, "What if she screams and someone comes and sees her tied up in your room?"
I glanced at Millie, "Millie. Are you going to scream?"
She smiled at me, "Why would I scream? I have always wanted to have another sleepover with you. Being in your room is like a dream come true."
My face twitched at her gentle persona. Was this really the same girl who was trying to kill me a few hours ago? It's just so hard to see this gentle girl as a psycho killer.
I rubbed my hands together, "Alright Millie. Do you think it is bad that you killed all those people?"
Millie smiled and shook her head. She answered in a clear voice, "They deserved it. You told me that only people who deserve to die should die."
William looked at me, "You told her what?"
My face twitched. I knew that was going to bite me in the a** one day.
I sighed, "Millie. Do you really think those people deserve it? Putting aside the criminals, did Ilene deserve to die?"
Millie smiled unabashed by this, "Ilene deserved not only to die, but to suffer until her last breath. She hurt you many times and even tried to kill you."
I scratched my head, "I don't think she had tried to kill me that day. I think she just wanted to threaten me. Plus, I did kind of ruin her life..."

Millie shook her head, "You're too soft Seri. Ilene had to die."
I continued, "Well what about Mary? It's not like she ever treated me badly. Do you really think she deserves to die?"
Millie nodded, "She is the worst. She is always watching you sleep and trying to keep you all to herself. I have to get rid of her."
I looked at her in disbelief, "No! You are not allowed to hurt Mary. For William's sake, you need to let her go."
William frowned, "Why for my sake?"
I realized I let something slip, but ignored him. I continued, "Then what about me, Millie? Do I really deserve to die?"
Actually, I don't want to know the answer to that.
I changed my words, "I mean, why do you want to kill me?"
She blinked, "I've told you. I want to be with you forever."
I groaned, "But that's not what I want Millie. Don't you understand that? I want to live and have fun! There's still many things I want to accomplish!"
I haven't been able to conquer the entire world yet!!!
She only smiled, "It's okay Seri. Once you die, you will understand."
I slapped by forehead in exasperation. William clicked his tongue, "I told you there was no talking sense into her."
I tapped my chin to think. I shrugged, "If I can't convince her, maybe I can compromise."
Dante's stare grew colder, "Compromise?"
I looked at Millie, "Okay Millie. How about this. If you behave and don't kill anyone without my permission, then I will let you kill me. But only on two conditions. One, you can't kill me until I've led a long and happy life. When I am on my death bed, then and only then can you kill me. Two, you have to ask me first before you do it."
She looked down while considering it, "But... I don't want to wait."
I tried appealing to her delusion, "Think about it Millie. We will be able to have all sorts of fun in this life, then we will be able to have fun in the afterlife. All you need to do is be patient. Trust me, it will be much more rewarding after waiting."
She heard this and a strange smile crossed her face, "Alright... I wouldn't mind waiting to kill you if that is the case."
I looked at her sternly, "However, if you disobey me then I will have William lock you up and you will never see me again."
Her face paled at this thought, "No! No! I don't want to be ignored!"
"Then you should behave and follow whatever I say." She nodded quickly in understanding. I clapped my hands together with a smile, "There! Compromise reached!"
Dante grit his teeth, "I won't allow it."

I looked at Dante, "What's wrong with this? It's a win win situation. Millie behaves and everything is alright in the world."
Dante tightened his fists, seething with anger. He glared at Millie wanting to rip her apart. He muttered, "I don't win."
I frowned, "Dante..."
He glanced at me and saw my stern expression. He growled and turned away from me. He threw his fist, punching a hole into my wall. He grunted in anger before storming out the door. My mouth dropped looking at the hole. I stood up to look through it. You could see the living room...
Ugh. I will have to make it up to him later...
William sighed, "I'm leaving too. I hope you know what you are doing." Before he strolled out, he turned to look at me, "I hope that arrogance of yours won't kill you."
He turned to leave, leaving behind Millie, me, and a giant hole in my wall. I frowned as I looked at the hole, "Maybe if I cover it with a painting no one will know."
Millie smiled at me, "I don't think it's noticeable in the slightest."
I sighed, "...Thanks Millie." I sat across from her, "Now that the boys are gone, I have a few questions for you. First, just how much do you know about me?"
She answered, "I know everything. I've always been watching you. I know that you are the Black death, I know you left the country before, and I even know about the deal you made with Simon."
My face grew serious, "You know too much."
She giggled with a warm smile, "Don't worry. I won't tell anyone about it. After all, I'm the one who gets your life. No one else is allowed to have it."
I sighed, "Alright, but remember you have to stop this entire killing frenzy."
She pouted, "I will try, but sometimes the monster inside of me gets too loud. Once I hear it, I have to listen to it. Or else it will get louder until it drives me insane."
My face twitched, "How nice..." Then I thought of something, "Then what if you become my bodyguard?"
"Your bodyguard?"
"Yes. On the surface you can be my bodyguard, but in secret you can also be an assassin for me."
She smiled, "Who do you want assassinated?"
I shrugged, "No one right now. However, that may change. Who knows."
She nodded, "That should work."
"Good. If you ever hear that monster you better tell me immediately."
She smiled, "I will, Seri."
I chuckled, "Now I have an assassin under my employ. I'm starting to become an actual villain. Finally my dream of conquering the kingdom and reigning as the one supreme mob boss is within my reach."
Millie giggled, "And you said I was delusional."
I frowned at her, "Hey. This is totally possible." I paused, "Wait... Do you also know about my... Hobby?"
Her smile never left her face, "Oh? You mean the erotic novels you hide under your floorboards and stay up all night to read? That hobby?"
My frown stiffened. I forced out in a strained voice, "Yes. That."
F*ck. How many people know my dark secret now?! How have I not been kicked out of high society yet?!
I changed the subject, "Okay. Final question. When you say you love me... What kind of love do you mean?"
I looked at her timidly and she looked at me confused, "What do you mean?"
I cleared my throat awkwardly, "Like... Do you love me... In... That way?"
"That way?"
I blushed as I answered, "Like you want to do this and that to me..."
Her eyes lit up, "Oh! You mean like do I want to [censored]!"
Kill me now. Wait. No, Millie might actually kill me.
She sat back and looked at the ceiling, "I haven't thought about that before... I don't think I've ever experienced such a feeling before. My love for you is much more wholesome than that."
I let out the breath I had been holding, "Ah. Well that's a relief."
She frowned, "Why? Do you feel that way towards someone?"
"Well of course I-" I froze midsentence.
Wait. Do I feel that way towards someone? Why was I about to answer yes?!
I stood up slightly embarrassed, "Well nevermind that. I'm going to bed now."
Millie motioned to the rope that tied her up, "Can you take this off of me?"
I shook my head, "Nope. Not until I know I can fully trust you."
Do you really think I would be so stupid that I would let you loose while I slept at night?! No way! I still value my life!
I turned off my lamp and climbed into bed. That night, I had a dream I was walking through a meadow. I laid in the grass to look at the sky above me. Quietly, a boa constrictor moved through the grass and began to strangle me. It felt as if my chest was being compressed too tightly.
I woke up from my dream instantly and looked down at the so called boa constrictor. Millie was under my blankets, embracing me tightly as she slept.
How in the hell...
I looked at the ropes that had been ripped apart and now lay on the floor in tatters. I sighed as I looked up at the ceiling.
Do they have electric dog collars here?
