The Side Character Turned Villainess Chapter 89

I slept peacefully at my desk embracing Millie's lovely hand. Well when I say embracing, I mean that I was using it as a pillow.
It was just like any other day.
The door to the classroom flung open, "GET HER!"
Suddenly my body was lifted into the air. I thrashed wildly in a panic, but they didn't let go as they dragged me out of the room.
"Huh? What?!" I screamed, "MILLIE! SAVE ME!"
The last thing I saw of her was that innocent smiling face waving at me. "Bye! Have fun~"
AHHH! I'M GOING TO DIE! I'M GOING TO-
They put me down gently in a carriage. Lona sat across from me with a serious expression. The carriage didn't wait another second before moving.
I blinked in confusion, "Oh. Hey Lona. Uhhhh.... What's going on?"
"Your mother's going into labor."
I nodded, "Uhuh... And so why did you just have a group of men kidnap me from class?"
"They didn't kidnap you. We were asked to quickly grab you and rush you back home."
"Well that definitely felt more like a kidnapping. I thought I was being murdered."
She rolled her eyes, "Don't be dramatic."
"I'm not! They literally just broke the door down to steal me with no explanation!!! I'm sure everyone else thought I was being kidnapped."
Actually... Now that I think about it... No one even moved a muscle when I got grabbed! They even looked a bit happy!
Oh, those b*tches. I will have my revenge.
Okay, the idiots in my class I could care less about... But Millie?! My dear Millie?! How could she do that to me?!?
Well... I was slobbering all over her hand... And probably made her arm fall asleep....
Whatever. Me and her will just have to have a nice chat about it.
I sat back, "Okay, let's just ignore the attempted kidnapping for a second. Why do I have to rush home? Surely I don't need to be there."
Lona sighed, "Normally you don't. However, the only ones allowed in the birthing room are women from the family. And your parents don't have any relatives like that other than you."
I forgot my parents have no other family.
She continued with an awkward expression, "But.. Your father... Well he's losing his sanity a bit."
I nodded, "Ah. He's running around and screaming?"
"Yes. So he called for you in a panic. I think he wants you in the room to make sure she's alright."
Just then, something crashed into the carriage. Me and Lona grabbed on to the sides as it thrashed wildly side to side. I attempted to hold in my vomit.
"What the- GET OFF! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" The drivers voice sounded from outside.
I hit the side of the carriage loudly, "Bertram! It's alright! It was a false alarm. I'm not being murdered."
The shaking stopped.
"Oh." His husky voice could be heard on the outside, "That's good then."

"What the..." Lona looked at me with a dumbfounded expression, "How did you even know it was him?!"
I shrugged, "Who else could it be?"
We arrived at home and I was forced to practically run inside. I saw my father pacing in front of the door.
He grabbed my arms with a troubled expression, "BABY GIRL! YOUR MOTHER'S DYING!"
I ignored his sobbing face and looked at the door. My mother's scream filled the hallways. I understand why he's panicking so much. She sounds like she's being cut in half or something.
I shook off his hands, "Relax. I will go and check on her."
Lona looked at me with a concerned face, "Now Seri... Birth can be.... A bit..." She tried to think of the right word, "Messy."
I flipped my hair with an arrogant look, "Oh, I'm sure it's not that bad. I imagine it's just like a cannon popping out babies."
Lona frowned, "Sure... Something like that."
I knocked on the door and a nurse let me in. She was dressed in a white uniform. I was immediately irritated by her so called genuine smile.
I can't stand nurses.
She smiled at me, "Are you the daughter?"
I nodded with a scowl, "That's right."
"Well come in. I'm sure your mother will be overjoyed to have you with her for such a special event."
I rolled my eyes, "Oh, I doubt that. I'm only in here because my father is out there pissing himself."
The nurse looked at me with a forced smile, "Oh?"
We walked over to my mother's bed. I put my hands on my hips arrogantly, "Alright, listen mother. I don't understand why you're screaming so much. Daddy's out there thinking you're dying. So I'm going to need you to tone it down a bit... Stop crying like a pansy and- WHAT THE F*CK IS THAT?!"
The nurse nodded, "Oh, it's crowning."
"F*CK IT IS! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT SH*T?! SOMEONE CALL AN EXORCIST!! IT LOOKS LIKE HAIR COMING UP FROM THE SHOWER DRAIN!!!"
The doctor smiled at my mother ignoring my screams, "Almost there, one more push."
I shook my head in a panic, "F*CK THAT! PUSH IT BACK IN! PUSH IT BACK IN!"
My mother snapped at me, "SERI!"
I ignored her, "HOW THE HELL IS IT EVEN THAT BIG?! WHERE IS IT COMING FROM?!"
The nurse glared at me, "You are not being helpful! If you keep it up, I will kick you out!"
"GOD D*MN MOTHER! IT'S WRECKING YOU! YOU'LL NEVER LOOK THE SAME AGAIN!"
My mother screamed back at me, "SERI! I SWEAR TO GOD IF YOU DON'T SHUT UP!!!"
The doctor smiled ignoring everything around him, "Almost there..."
I pointed at the blob emerging, "IT'S A F*CKING ALIEN! OH F*CK! IT'S OUT! WAIT?! WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?! A GEL BABY?"
"That's the afterbirth."
I held my mouth, "I'm going to be sick."

My mother glared at me, "STOP LOOKING AT IT THEN!"
I shook my head, "I can't... I mean, I really want to. But I can't pull my eyes away. It looks like a f*cking vacant room now."
The doctor chuckled, "Ahh.. The miracle of birth."
I shook my head with a horrified expression, "That sh*ts no miracle doctor. It's a f*cking monstrosity."
My mother glared at me, "Why did you even come in here again?!"
The nurse took the baby from the doctor and wrapped it up in a towel, "Congratulations! It's a boy!"
I patted my mother's shoulder, "I'm sorry mother... But there's no going back from that. It's huuuge now."
She gave me a sharp look, "Stop talking about that before I smack that nasty mouth of yours."
The nurse handed the baby to my mother. The baby was still covered in goop and crying.
Didn't they tell me birth was a beautiful thing?! This sh*t is disgusting!
I looked at the alien in horror, "Why is it's head shaped like that?"
The doctor chuckled, "HIS head will return to normal soon. It's quite normal for a baby's head to be mishaped when they're first born."
"Gross." My lips curled in disgust looking at that baby.
My mother rolled her eyes, "Just go let your father in."
I walked over to the door and opened it with a traumatized look.
My father jumped up with a horrified expression, "Is everything alright?"
I nodded my head slowly, "Everyone is fine... Well... Except for mother's... You know..."
He tilted his head, "Her what?"
There's no way I'm saying it.
Lona frowned at my pale face, "How was it?"
I shook my head in horror and whispered, "I'm never having kids."
My father cheered, "This day keeps getting better!!!" He picked me up and swung me around, "I got another child and my daughter will never get married and leave me!!!"
I frowned, "ANYWAY. You can go in now."
My father walked in and smiled lovingly at the baby. He played with the child in my mother's arms as my mother blushed and giggled. He bent down and kissed her forehead. I glanced at them and felt myself pause.
They looked like a real family.
My heart squeezed tightly in my chest. I looked back to Lona who was looking down at me with a warm gaze.
"Don't you want to join them?"
I glanced back at them before slowly shaking my head, "No... I don't think I belong with them there..."
Lona looked at me with sad eyes. She rubbed my hair in a comforting manner. I closed my eyes and indulged in it. She spoke, "I think the cook made some cake for you."
I smiled at her, "Let's go eat cake!!!"
I looked up into her eyes. She stared at me with the same look my father and mother were giving to their newborn baby.
Who needs parents when you have a Lona?
I held my hands out, "Carry me Lona!"
She frowned in disapproval, "You're too old to be carried."
I pouted, "Oh come on! I'm traumatized over here!"
"I told you it was messy."
I frowned, "Messy was putting it lightly. Now come on! Don't you want to make me feel better?"
She sighed, "Fine." She strained to pick me up, "Oh my... You need to go on a diet. You're getting too heavy."
I frowned, "Be nice Lona."
We laughed at each other as she struggled to carry me out of the room.
_______
A few weeks later, my mother had recovered from her birth. My parents kept going back and forth about what to call the baby, but couldn't make up a decision. So, its name was still baby.
I spent that time avoiding them and that child as much as possible. I still had traumatizing memories from that day!!!
I don't think I will ever be able to look at my mother the same again...
Lona walked over to me, "Your parents are calling for you."
I frowned, "Why?"
"They want you to visit the baby."
"Tell them I'm too traumatized."
Lona sighed, "I can't keep saying that. Now come on." Seeing my hesitance she added, "Don't worry. I will be right there with you."
I groaned, "But it's just so nasty to look at!"
"He's not nasty anymore. He actually looks like a baby."
I glanced at her suspiciously, "You sure?"
She nodded. I reluctantly stood up and followed her out. We came to the babies room. My parents were standing off to the side.
My father smiled at me, "Come look at your little brother."
I glanced up at Lona who nodded at me reassuringly. I walked over to the crib and peered inside. I frowned at the tiny body.
The baby looked up at me with wide eyes. When he saw my face he gave a toothless grin. His giggles filled the room.
My eyes widened.
It was like seeing the ghost of my brother. They had the same smile. The same laugh.
"Oh my." My mother said in surprise, "That's the first time he's ever laughed."
I watched the laughing baby with complicated feelings.
My father spoke behind me, "We were talking... And we want you to give him a name."
I glanced at them in surprise, "Are you sure?"
My mother nodded in agreement, "As long as it's not PoonPoon."
I looked back at the happy baby.
Only one name came to mind.
A name that was very dear to me.
"Oliver."
The baby laughed happily at his new name. I reached out and let him hold my finger.
My mother's eyes widened, "That's actually... A good name."
Of course it is. It was my little brothers name after all.
I whispered to him soothingly, "And don't worry... This time... I will protect you."
