The Side Character Turned Villainess Chapter 55

My father blinked at me as if he had been hit with something so awful he couldn't help but deny it. He spoke in a stunned voice, "What.. Was that?"

I straightened myself up and crossed my arms, "I left because I wanted to run away."

He looked as if someone just hit his stomach, "Wha... What?! Baby girl! Why would you say that?!?"

I thought quickly and spoke, "Hmph. Why do you think?! You went and threatened my friends. What if they stop talking to me?! You don't even care about me!"

"No.. No! Baby girl! I do!"

I stomped my foot, "No you don't! You hate me!!"

My mother sighed, "Really? That's the reason? How stupid."

I turned my attention on her. While I'm at it, I might as well attack her.

I snarled, "You think that's the only reason? Maybe I don't want to live in the house with a witch as a mother."

Her mouth dropped, "Wha.... How dare you! Insolent girl! Who are you calling a witch?!"

I snickered, "Am I wrong? All you ever do is criticize and yell. You call me stupid... Insolent... Basically everything you should never call your daughter, you call me!"

My mother was about to call me something, but quickly stopped herself realizing I wasn't exaggerating.

I continued with a sneer, "See? I'm not wrong. So of course I would run away! Naturally I want to go somewhere where I'm appreciated!!!"

My father looked stunned by this and turned to my mother, "What should we do?!"

She looked shocked, "Why are you asking me?!"

My father turned back to me and tried to speak peacefully, "I'm sorry sugar plum... Daddy loves you very much..."

My mother scowled, "Just Daddy? What about Mommy?!"

He glared at her, "Well I can't lie, can I?"

"HUH?! WHO SAID IT'S A LIE?!" My mother held up her hand and took a deep breath, "Whatever. We can discuss this later. But we need to punish her. She can't just run away without any consequences."

My father thought for a moment, "Maybe I should ask Dr. Singh about it..."

My mother threw her head, "HAH! You really want to bring him around again?! Do you realize he would probably send her off somewhere?!"

My father paused, "Ah... That's right... Well we should do something... Should we... Ground her?"

A fire lit up in my soul.

OH HELL NO! I'M NOT BEING STUCK IN THIS HELL HOLE AGAIN!

My mother nodded, "Better than nothing."

I growled, "I am NOT being grounded again."

My mother glared at me, "Well we are the parents not you."

My father bent down and made a pleading face, "Baby girl... It's not like we want to ground you, but you did something very bad. What if you got hurt?"

"Who the f*ck cares if I get hurt?!"

Their mouths dropped. My father shouted, "SERI!"

I shouted back, "NO! WHO THE F*CK CARES?!"

My mother yelled, "WATCH YOUR MOUTH!"

"NO! F*CK F*CK F*CK!"

She shouted louder, "Stop cursing! You need to listen to us!"

I chuckled angrily, "Why the hell would I listen to you?"

"Because you're the child and we're the adults!"

I wasn't even fully angry before, but now it was as if something flipped on in my head. Suddenly all of the resentment and anger I had for being in a child's body came pouring out.

I wanted to drink.

I wanted coffee.

I wanted to buy my adult novels.

I wanted to go out to clubs.

I wanted to drive my f*cking porsche.

Most importantly.

I WANTED MY ADULT BODY BACK!

I shook from anger and growled through clenched teeth, "You think I'm a child? I WILL SHOW YOU A CHILD!"

I grabbed an expensive vase and chucked it out the window smashing both into pieces. The servants gasped at the crashing sound.

My father shouted, "Seri! Stop!"

"F*ck NO Daddy! I'm a child remember?!" I jumped onto the expensive lounge chair, "And when children are angry... What do they do?" I didn't wait for them to answer before shouting, "They throw TANTRUMS!!"

I jumped off of the chair and landed on a nearby coffee table putting all my force in my legs. It smashed in half.

I laughed maniacally and held the chair over my head, "WHO'S THE F*CKING CHILD NOW?!"

My father's face paled seeing my freakish strength which did not fit his image of a little girl.

I chucked the chair against the wall and it shattered.

My father shouted in a panic, "SERI! SERI STOP! YOU'RE GOING TO GET HURT!"

I kept laughing maniacally as I destroyed everything in sight. The servants were so freaked out they huddled in a corner together too afraid to let their position known. Even my mother was a bit shaken and started inching over to the protection corner. My father on the other hand was holding his head while freaking out.

"AHHH! STOP!" He looked to my mother, "Do something!!"

She shook her head, "I don't know what to do! You do something!"

He started screaming some more before shouting, "LONA! LONA! GET DOWN HERE! EMERGENCY! LOOOONAAA!"

Lona heard his cries and stepped out into the hallway upstairs. She looked down rubbing her eyes, "What is it? What is all this shouting?"

She froze as she stared downstairs and could see the servants huddling, me breaking everything on a rampage, and my parents too freaked out to think of anything to do.

She took a step back, "I'm going back to bed."

My father pleaded, "LOOOONAAA! Please help us!!!"

She sighed and walked down the stairs. She looked at my parents, "What's happening?"

My father blubbered, "Seri! She, she ran away! Then was attacked and brought back by a Knight. So we were going to ground her. And one thing happened after another... And now. Well..."

He looked back watching my destruction. Lona chided him, "Lord Kane. If a child runs away you're not supposed to punish them. You're supposed to show them that you love and appreciate them. A child runs away because they don't feel loved and want to see you chase after them."

He looked paler, "Oh... Well... Okay... But what do we do now?

She looked at my crazed face and shook her head, "There's nothing we can do when she's like this. When my little Miss has those crazy eyes she can't be reasoned with."

My father whined, "Looona! There must be something!"

She shrugged, "Cake?"

My father turned to me and shouted, "Seri! If you stop I will let you have some cake!"

I ignored him and kept smashing.

He tried again, "I will let you have some coffee!!"

I paused and turned to him. He smiled thinking that he solved it. I smiled back maliciously. I grabbed a candle next to me and his face dropped.

"NO! NO SERI! NO FIRE!"

I laughed crazily and ran around setting the curtains on fire.

My father shouted, "AHHH! SERVANTS! WATER! GET WATER! SERI STOP!"

The servants hurriedly grabbed water and put out the things I lit on fire. One ran after me and tossed water at the candle. The candle fire went out, leaving me also half wet.

I stopped and turned around.

The servant yelped, "Ah! It was a mistake! FORGIVE ME!"

I grinned, "Run."

The servant didn't wait and started running away begging for forgiveness. I ran after her still laughing. Lona sighed and decided she had to step in.

I felt someone stop me. I screamed and threw a fist trying to shake them off.

I heard a "Oof" behind me.

I froze and whipped around. My eyes widened in horror as I realized who I just hit.

Lona sat on the ground rubbing her eye. Her face shown a hint of pain. The punch she received wasn't a weak one.

My grabbed my face in a panic. All of the anger I previously had, disappeared in the blink of an eye. Now all I could feel was guilt and self hatred.

I cried, "Lona! I... I.. I didn't mean to!"

I bent down shaking uncontrollably. I held my hand out but I was too afraid to touch her. I started sobbing uncontrollably, "I'M SO SORRY! I DIDN'T MEAN TO! I DIDN'T! LONA I'M SO SORRY!"

As I sobbed uncomfortably and held my hands over my eyes, she sighed.

"I know you didn't mean to... It's alright. Calm down."

This only made me cry harder.

She sighed and rubbed my back. Everyone breathed in relief seeing this, but then grew tense again. They had never seen me so distraught.

Lona picked me up and I threw my arms around her while sobbing into her chest.

"L-LONA.. I'm getting snot on your dreesssss!"

She chuckled, "It's fine. It's fine."

She looked over at my parents, "I'm going to take her up to her room now so she can calm down."

My father nodded weakly, "Uhh... Okay.. Thanks..."

A servant whispered, "Is it over?"

Lona carried me to my room and placed me on my bed. She sat next to me and waited patiently for me to stop crying. I slowly gained control of my sobs.

My lip trembled, "I'm really sorry Lona..."

She chuckled, "I know."

"No. Really. I'm really sorry."

"I know."

"Really REALLY sorry."

Her voice was soft, "I know."

"But I went and hit you... Aren't you angry?"

"Not at all."

I looked at the bruised eye and reached out to it, but stopped. I hung my head, "I can't believe I ruined your precious face." I sniffled, "I deserve the death penalty."

She raised an eyebrow, "Isn't that a bit extreme?"

"Are you really okay though? It looks painful."

She smiled tenderly, "To be honest, it feels pretty painful." My lip trembled more and she continued, "I'm surprised. I've been watching you train for so long and you've never seemed like you were that strong."

I sniffled, "I can't control my strength when I'm angry. I mean, genuinely angry."

Lona thought back and realized she had only seen me act so crazed once. Back when I attacked Ilene. She silently apologized for the beating Ilene must have received.

She looked at me softly, "But why were you so upset? You know your parents-" She corrected herself, "You know your father was only doing that because he was concerned about you."

I sighed and crossed my arms, "I know. But I was just so pissed off. I hate it when people treat me like some weakling. I mean, he even went and threatened Dante to go easy on me!"

"You were really so upset you were going to run away?"

My face twitched. I couldn't very well say that I wasn't running away, but that I've been sneaking out to go to the red light district.

I shrugged and spoke nervously, "I wasn't really going to run away."

She chuckled, "That's good. I was worried you didn't like me either."

"Of course not! Lona you are my most beautiful maid! I could never hate you."

She laughed, "Why do you always call me that?"

I thought for a moment and realized it did seem a bit rude to refer to her like that. I nodded, "Then from today forward, you will be my heavenly angel!"

Her smile twitched, "Little Miss... That's a bit..."

I grabbed her hands, "I promise, my heavenly angel. I will make it up to you!"

She chuckled and stood up nodding, "Alright, alright." She glanced at the rope that went out my window and raised an eyebrow, "Where'd you even get that at?"

I chuckled nervously, "Oh you know. It was laying around somewhere."

She pulled it up, untied it, and put it on the bed. "Honestly. You are too much sometimes."

She walked over to me and grabbed my bag that was still attached to me.

I came to my senses when she started to open it, I held out my hands, "WAIT! LET ME-"

She pulled a book out and her eyes widened in terror, "WHAT IS THIS FILTH?!"
