The Side Character Turned Villainess Chapter 47

I opened my eyes and noticed the frilly pink bed cover. It would seem I am back in Seri's world since there is no way I would ever have something like this myself.
I turned to the side and noticed my father laying halfway on my bed while his other half was seated in a chair. He had a beard starting to grow in and smelled as if he hadn't showered in days. I don't think I've ever seen this man so frazzled before.
I looked to my right and noticed Lona in a chair, sleeping in a proper position. Why is she so serious even when she's sleeping? I looked closer and noticed she also had baggy eyes like my father.
I glanced down and noticed she was holding my hand. I stared at it for a while. A strange feeling grew in my chest. It was like feeling elated but nervous and scared at the same time. I frowned at the uncomfortable feeling.
I noticed movement in the corner of my eye and looked at the door. My mother stood leaning against it with her arms crossed. She didn't look as bad as the other two, but I still saw a strange look on her face when she noticed me.
However, she quickly scowled, "So you're finally up."
This was all that was needed to wake the other two up. My father's eyes almost fell out of his head, "Baby girl! I was so worried! How are you feeling?!"
I smiled at him, "I feel fine. Just a bit thirsty."
Lona quickly felt my forehead, "Stop saying you feel fine. That's how you got into this mess in the first place."
My father nodded his head, "Yes! The doctor said it was so bad you may have died."
I was surprised by this. That's not possible. The doctor must have just been acting dramatic. I've been much much sicker before.
I groaned and held my head, "If I could just take some pain killers I will be alright."
Lona turned her head, "Pain killers? I'm not sure about that, but I have your medicine right here."
She added some powder into a glass of water and mixed it in. It gave off a murky color.
I looked at it in disgust, "Yeaaaah. I'm not drinking that."
Lona spoke, "Yes you are."
"No. I'm not."
"If you don't drink this you will get sick again."
"If I drink that then I will definitely become sick."
She frowned, "Drink it."
I stayed firm, "No."
She sighed, "I guess you can't take it. Here I thought you were mature for your age, but it seems that you're still a child who refuses to take medicine."

I frowned, "I'm not a child Lona."
She smirked, "Oh really? Well if you weren't a child then you'd drink this."
I nodded, "I can easily drink this!"
She looked away in boredom, "I don't believe you."
"I can! I really can!"
She held it out, "Then prove it."
I grabbed it, "Fine! I will!"
I quickly gulped it down and slammed it against the bedside table. I shivered from it's disgusting taste. I shook it off and smiled triumphantly.
"There! Told you!" I paused, "Wait a second..."
What just happened?
My father looked at Lona in astonishment, "Wow! You're really good at that. I probably would have caved."
My mother spoke, "That's because you're too lenient on her. A child needs to listen to her parents."
My father glared, "What? You mean force it on her? That could make things worse!!"
I glanced at my mother. This b*tch would probably pinch my nose until I gasped for air, then throw it down my throat.
"Don't argue in here. You will give your daughter a headache." Lona spoke sharply quickly ending my parents argument.
My mouth dropped. When did Lona get the balls to tell off my parents?! What exactly happened when I passed out?!
My father reached over to me and hugged me tightly. I nearly gagged from his awful smell. He cried, "I'm sorry baby girl! Daddy's sorry you don't feel good."
I wrinkled my nose, "Daddy..."
He looked up at me with big puppy eyes, "Yes?"
"You stink. Get off of me."
He looked like he was going to die from dejection. He quickly released me, "But baby girl! Daddy only smells bad because he was too worried about you to bathe!"
I turned to Lona with a pathetic look. I covered my mouth, "Lona... I feel so nauseous now."
My father jumped up quickly, "No! My darling! I will go bathe this instant so you won't feel so nauseous!"
He ran out of the room and I chuckled under my breath. I should have done that sooner.
My mother looked at me, "Well now that you're finally up, I will go call for the doctor." She turned to leave before pausing, "Try to get better quickly before you inconvenience us further."
She left the room with a huff. I rolled my eyes. You dumb b*tch. Is it too hard to say 'I hope you get better?'
I looked at Lona and chuckled, "How could my father and you become so haggard looking in only a few days?"
She looked down at me surprised, "A few days? No. It's been over two weeks now."

My mouth dropped. What. The. F*ck. How did I sleep for that long?!
I sobbed, "Does that mean I have to go back to school now?!"
She smiled at me, "Oh no. You will probably have to stay home for much longer. Just until we know for sure that you're alright."
I wanted to cry harder. I don't know what's worse. Bedridden or going to school.
She gave me an encouraging pat, "I know you were looking forward to seeing William and Dante. I'm sorry you couldn't get to visit them. I'm also sorry you didn't get to go to the annual tea party."
I'm not at all upset about that. If anything, that's a godsend. But if the tea party passed, that would mean I've been stuck here for an entire year?!
Am I old enough to drink yet?! No? Okay, what about a cup of coffee? Please! I need my caffeine!
Later that day, the doctor returned and checked on me.
He smiled at me, "Well, little girl. You had a lot of people worried. Even I didn't think you would pull through."
I nodded. Yes Dr. Dramatic.
When he pulled out his tools I began to understand why he was being so dramatic. I completely forgot that this was set in a time where they weren't medically advanced! There were no such things as hospitals and the doctors usually had to do house visits.
I began to wonder if I really was close to death as they say. But then again, I didn't die. So this proves my point further. I must really be immortal!
He told me he would be back to check on me in a few days and to make sure I stayed in bed.
The next day, I was already starting to have cabin fever. They actually made me lay down the entire time. I thought I would be able to escape eventually, but Lona made sure to stay at my side. And when she wasn't, my father was clinging to me as if I'd die any second.
I was already going insane.
I groaned, "Lona. I can't stay like this. I. am. so. bored. I might even die from boredom!"
Lona sat next to me reading her book. She flipped a page. "Why don't you read a book?"
I glared, "Why would I read any of these books?? They're all so boring! They are either educational or they look like they're interesting, but it's actually educational!!!"
She sighed and looked down at me, "Well, what books do you like?"
I smiled, "You know. Like romances with extra zest."
She furrowed her brow in confusion, "With zest?"
"You know! With-" I stopped myself quickly. I changed my words, "With a heartwarming story that one could relate to."
"Hmm. Like perhaps a girl in love with a Prince who is already engaged?"
I frowned, "I don't like where you're going with this."
She gave a coy smile, "Or perhaps the girl is actually in love with the Prince's best friend."
I stuck out my tongue, "Stop it Lona. You're making me nauseous."
She chuckled, "Really? I thought you would at least relate to one of those two stories."
I glared at her and turned away. She chuckled and returned back to her book. I glanced at the cover and frowned. Why is she reading such a serious book? Seriously. Someone needs to save her from herself.
I flipped over some more before growing bored again. I turned back to Lona, "Lona. Do you want to have a kid?"
She looked startled, "Where did that come from?"
"I was wondering. You're so serious, but you do a good job taking care of me. I figured you would want kids of your own."
She shook her head, "Even if I did, it wouldn't matter. I already told you something like that isn't possible for a person like me."
"Why not? A pretty girl like you could easily have a kid. All you gotta do is go bang a handsome guy. It's easy."
She raised an eyebrow, "Bang?"
"Yeah! You know..." I brought my hands together in a suggestive action.
Lona looked as if she would faint, "You vulgar girl!!! Who taught you that?!"
Well I am technically 26. It would be embarrassing if I didn't know what it was.
"Uhh... Television."
She grew furious, "Just who is this television?!"
I sighed, "It's a figure of speech. Just relax."
"Relax?! I can't relax!" She looked around the room quickly and lowered her voice, "If your parents heard you talk like that, they would send you off to a reform school!"
I rolled my eyes, "No they wouldn't."
"Oh really? You don't think your overprotective father and your vengeful mother would do that?"
Oh sh*t. She's right.
I put up my arms to placate her, "Alright, alright. I'm sorry. I won't be so vulgar again."
She looked back at her book and clicked her tongue, "And why do I not believe you."

"This is so wrong ..." Emma breathed out against his lips when he pinned her up against the wall."Is it?" Alexander echoed, slipping his hands underneath her large sweater, grazing her lips."She's my friend ..." Emma argued weakly, albeit unwilling to push him off."Don't think about it." He merely replied, starting to nibble on her neck.As his lips nipped down on her sensitive skin, Emma let out a breathless moan and wrapped her arms around his shoulders, so that he could hook her legs around his torso, effectively seizing her in his arms. The walk to his bedroom was short, and before she could say anything, she found herself on his bed, him hovering over her. His every touch was inebriating, the way his lips knew exactly where to go in order for her to lose sight of her moral duties, the way his hands skillfully caressed every inch of her skin, as if savoring it in advance, was driving her insane. And when she met his fiery gaze, Emma knew she was doomed. She had no chance but to surrender to this devil that was tempting her, pushing her towards something that - she was well aware - would be difficult to give up on once set in motion.
