The Side Character Turned Villainess Chapter 5

Can't I just walk to school? I seriously can't handle another carriage ride.

The butlers had to force me into the carriage. I wasn't going out without a fight. I say that, but they easily succeeded. Curse this tiny child body! I need to start looking for matches.

Finally, I've arrived at the school! Wait, is that even a school? Why is it another castle? Just how much money does everyone have here?!

I allowed the maid to walk me inside, but I noticed she stopped and bowed.

"Please have a good day at school, little Miss."

Yeah? Whatever. Bye. WAIT! I almost forgot I have no idea where the hell my room is!!! Oh man. Why couldn't I have been thrown into a novel where the main character had all of that character's memories? This is discrimination!

Well, I don't need to go to class anyway. I'll just play hooky. It's not like I need to go anyway.

I started skipping down the hall giggling to myself. Might as well find the library for books and some matches while I'm here. A school would have that right?

As I searched the large building, I smacked into something soft. I rubbed my forehead, "Ah! F*king punk! Look where you're going!"

"I should say that to you since you're the one who ran into me."

Uhoh. I recognize this cold voice. It was none other than William. Why have I been cursed with bad luck lately?! I've always been a good girl (lie).

"Your vision must be wrong. You should get that checked out." I sidestepped around him in an attempt to quickly escape, but I was pulled back by my collar.

"And where do you think you're going?"

"I don't think that's any of your business."

He frowned. Ack. Why am I suddenly frightened by a child?!

"It is my business. Classes have already started."

"Oh my. Isn't William rather bright? No wonder he is the top of his class." Yes. Do you hear my sarcasm?

He did. He gave me a bone chilling smile, "You should be in class."

"So should you."

One must never admit defeat.

"The teacher asked me to deliver these papers to the office. You know, the one's you so rudely knocked out of my hands?"

Oof. Sure enough, there were papers scattered on the floor.

I shrugged impassively, "That sucks bro."

Yeah, and why do I care?

He looked flustered, "Bro?! What's that?!" He composed himself, "Whatever. Just help me pick up the papers."

"Why should I?"

He stared at me blankly, "Because it would be impolite not to."

"That sucks for you, because I'm pretty impolite."

Chuckle.

After the back and forth, he finally growled at me and begun to clean up the papers. I took the opportunity to start running. I looked behind and saw him catching up to me with monster like speed.

What the hell is this kid?! Listen, I know you're the male lead, but this is just unfair!

He easily caught me and dragged me off to the office. I was kicking and throwing my arms, but it was all in vain.

I vow I will get stronger and have my revenge. Male lead or not, I will take you down. Keke.

So, in short. He dragged me to the office, where I got chewed out. Then he dragged me to my classroom where the teacher also chewed me out.

"Oh? You think you're too good for my lesson?" The teacher wrote a math problem on the chalkboard. "Then solve this."

I looked at the teacher, then the class, then William. What's up with this smug attitude from everyone? It's a simple long division problem. I shrugged and grabbed the chalk. Without even needing to show my work, I wrote the answer. I sat it down and brushed the chalk off on my dress.

Ugh, did I mention how much I hate chalk? Bring me back to the land of whiteboards~

I looked back up at the teacher who looked stunned. I raised an eyebrow in confusion, "What? You asked me to solve it."

Nobody spoke. Uhoh, did I do something wrong? Perhaps I was supposed to show my work? Draw a cat? Maybe numbers are different here.

I looked back at William who also looked like his jaw was about to hit the floor.

Hehe. I don't remember him ever making that expression. I wish I had a camera.

I smiled smugly to him, "What? Should I also draw a cat?"

The teacher cleared his throat, "That's just a lucky guess. Try this one."

I answered it easily again. Please. I took calculus in college. This is a yawn.

The teacher kept writing questions and I answered them flawlessly. I was starting to get irritated. Is this really necessary?

"Teacher."

"Huh? What?" He was about to write another question on the board.

My lips twitched into a devious smile. You want to shame me? Prepare yourself, Mr. teacher. I pulled out a chalk and began writing a calculus question on the board.

Yes, I had one memorized. You don't know how long it took me to figure this question out. It took me so long I even memorized it.

I had gotten it wrong on a test before and my pride wouldn't allow me not to solve it. Took me several weeks, but I finally got it.

"Solve it." Heh. Heh. As I watched him struggle an evil giggle escaped my lips. "Perhaps, it's too advanced for you?"

He looked at me blushing, "No! I bet you don't even know the answer."

I shrugged, "Who knows? But I'm also 5 while you're... How old are you? 60?"

"I'm not 60!" He shouted.

"Why so defensive? Are you really upset at a child over this?"

Yup. I'ma play that card.

He cleared his throat. "Whatever. Just sit down. Thank you William for bringing her."

"Y-yeah." He turned to leave.

No! Don't leave me! I wanted to see that defeated expression some more. Tear. Wait. Why am I competing with children?! Have I really stooped this low?!

I looked out and noticed the only seat empty was next to Millie. Ah, so this is where I know her from. I sat down next to her.

"That was amazing Seri! When did you get so smart?!"

"Huh? I was always this smart."

Are children not supposed to be able to answer those questions? Sure, I went a little overboard with that calculus question, but didn't he give me long division because they were learning it?

"No. No you weren't." She responded curtly.

My eyebrow twitched, "Never judge a book by it's cover."

We were soon shushed and the lesson started again. Oh man. I really want to smack my head into the desk. This is too boring. When is lunchtime?!
