Blood Evolution System Chapter 142

While Iris, John, Nevis, and Leilani were talking about the Tomb of Roselia, Vincent was going through the markets in and outside the military academy to purchase blood of beasts, storing them in his inventory and purifying all of them in the safest and most private place in all of Xavier.
He was purifying them so that he would be able to drink them later on. He also needed them to amplify the targeted stats of his soon-to-be-created Bracelet of Strength.
‹You can no longer increase the proficiency of this skill by purifying the blood of beasts and monsters in the magical realm>
Just as he finished purifying the nineteenth pack of blood inside the library of the military academy, a notification popped up in his mind, telling him about a few important things.
"Hmm, I guess it's going to take a bit longer for me to level up my skills than I initially thought," Vincent said in a slightly disappointed voice after finding out that he now needed to purify the blood of creatures in the demonic realm to increase the proficiency of his skill.
Whatever!
He focused on doing the most important thing for now.
Bleed the monster's corpses dry of their blood!
While still inside the privacy barrier of the library, he wore an oxygen mask connected to an oxygen tank, turned it on and entered the lifeless inventory with no sign of air or oxygen, placed a few tubs as big as a pool in the barren land before looking at the corpses of Grim Gores sprawled on the ground all around him.
"Time to get to work," Vincent said, cracking his knuckles, kicking the exhaustion in his body out the window.
He picked up the carcasses of the monsters, which didn't smell as the subspace prevented them from rotting for obvious scientific reasons. He placed the carcasses of the monsters in the huge tubs before landing a few slashes on each of them, producing rather large and deep wounds on their bodies from which blood seeped out and started to fill the tubs.

It will take a long time before the monsters are entirely drained of their blood, but it will happen in the end without any need for Vincent to supervise it, so he stepped out of the subspace, reappearing inside the privacy barrier.
He took off the oxygen mask from his face and the oxygen tank off his back before storing them inside the inventory of his black serpent ring.
He then sat down on a chair with one leg over the other, waiting for the equipment creator to call and notify him about the creation of the Bracelet of Strength.
A few moments later, once the equipment creator called Vincent, telling him that he has created the Bracelet of Strength and that it is waiting for him to pick it up, Vincent left the library and made his way to the equipment shop in a hurry.
He exchanged a few words of greetings with the equipment creator before picking up the box containing the bracelet of strength and going back to the most secured and easily accessible place on planet Xavier.
He opened the lid of the black box and saw a bracelet with three streaks of crimsons stretching all over its side, intertwining into the shape of a black shield in the center.
Vincent used his appraisal spell matrix on it to get a better look at its stats and properties.

Vincent's eyes brightened in happiness and amazement as he looked at the properties of the bracelet. The increase in stats was already impressive enough, but the huge deal of defense it provided to its wielder left him shocked. He knew about the special effects of the bracelet already but seeing it with his own eyes still came as a shock to him.
"I have obtained the impressive defense of the Behemoth Grim Gore!" Vincent exclaimed in joy, feeling as if he will have a class change to a tank after just wearing the Bracelet of Strength.
He shook his head, controlling his joy, and directed his attention to making it even better by using his mystical ability. He could significantly improve the stats of the Bracelet of Strength by fusing it with the blood of the beast. He needed to take a few steps for that to happen.
First step: Create a parasitic seed of fusion!
Vincent thought of creating a parasitic seed of fusion and the extraordinary supernatural cells inhabiting his bloodstream released a suction force so strong that a few units of Mana present in his heart got forcefully pulled towards them, getting ferociously devoured by the supernatural cells in order to give birth to a seed of fusion.
‹ You've used 4 units of Mana to activate your supernatural power, Power of Evil ›
‹ The activation of your ability has created a parasitic seed of fusion that can infest any liquid and energy, giving them the ability to fuse with any matter ›
Just as these notifications sounded in his mind, a black dot-like substance suddenly manifested in front of him, wriggling about in thin air. Vincent could feel a deep connection with this thing as it was something he has created by himself. He could tell that he was able to control it with a single thought.
This will help him immensely in completing the second step!

Frank Ebner once wanted to save the world. Let the second one be better than the first. On Earth he was a student of... well it hardly matters anymore. It was dying, and he and the rest of his fellows and friends studying how to stave off the end graduated just in time to be told it was too late. That there was not enough time, funds, will, to stop it anymore. That the governments and the worthies of the world had moved from trying to stop it, to surviving the oncoming apocalypse, while blaming each other. That was a world Frank wanted nothing to do with. One riven by wars for places in the Archologies going up, and between them and the dying world they were leaving behind. So when a strange voice offered him a way out, to a world unmarred by the poison killing his? Frank took it. The voyage changed him, made him fit his new world, one of stats and magic. It came with perks, for in passing through their Heavens, they'd been exposed to Divinity, and taken some of the Celestial within them. Heroes now, but there are heroes, and there are Heroes. The nobility of the Empire care only for those who carry blessed bloodlines, and their time to adapt and train up for the new world is limited. Patrons are scarce among those like Frank, with only the base Hero perks, and magic studies expensive and lengthy. Often requiring heavy Oaths to gain the necessary aid to wield mana as a mage. Frank found another way. It nearly cost him his life. Now on the run and burned by the very magic he sought and craved, he is a pilgrim traveling to the The Eternal Tree, font of Perseverance. Frank hopes Ir-karlak will grant him some way to recover from the fires that scorched him. Without snuffing out the embers those fires lit within, for he has learned to harness them and he would not give up magic for the world. *** In the last 21 days, as I update this, I've managed about 18-19 updates. So Scorched should update most days, muse willing. She's fickle, sometimes. Not every day, but most. If there's an update for the day, it will be at 7PM, GMT+2. *[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Actually completed it. :) *
