Qian Meng woke up to the sound of the alarm. Her alarm had been set to a soft beeping sound and it worked for them. Mo Qingchen was a light sleeper, so she tried not to wake him up. Furthermore, it was the weekend for both of them.

Qian Meng felt the bed shift beneath her and opened her eyes to see the shadow of her husband's form reaching over to shut the alarm. He had gotten to it before she could.

Qingchen sighed softly as he pulled the covers off himself and flung them towards her side of the bed.

"Don't get up," Qian Meng said just as he started to sit up, her voice croaky with the thickness of sleep.

His head turned in her direction and although she couldn't make out his expression in her bleariness, she was sure he looked surprised.

"Oh, the alarm woke you too?" he asked, his voice just as sleepy as hers.

"Kind of. I forgot to disable it last night. I was just about to fall back asleep."

He patted her shoulder. "What did you dream about?" he asked.

"Nonsense." She shrugged.

"It's still so nice to wake up with you." He reached over to smooth her hair from her face. "Good morning."

"No. Not good morning," she protested with a yawn. "It's too early. Go back to sleep with me." They had stayed up too late the night before, so she wanted to nag Mo Qingchen into sleeping a little more.

"I'll just work out today, okay?"

"I never get to sleep with you like a lazy person. You're not working today. Can't you sleep with me a little longer?" She was sure that she looked cute with her freshly awoken face… albeit a little ruffled.

"If we are sleeping, you won't know that I am here," he reasoned.

But she didn't like being obstructed from her goal to get him to sleep. "I'll know if you aren't here. How about I go workout with you?" she asked slyly.

"You're going to get up and work out with me?" he asked, disbelief evident in his tone.

"No. I will give you a workout right here in bed, husband. And then you can go back to sleep with me. Or the other way around. It doesn't really matter to me." The offer was enticing.

"The offer is compelling but your negotiation tactics need some polishing, baby." He chuckled as he started to get up and Qian Meng was thoroughly offended.

"I wonder who to solicit for fun times at work," she bit back. "Seriously? You would rather go work out?" she asked as she watched him sit on the bed and then stand up.

"Didn't say that." He gave her an amused look.

"Then where are you going?"

"Restroom."

She made a small noise of acknowledgment.

She rolled over to nuzzle her head into the pillow. She lay there for a few minutes until she heard the sound of Mo Qingchen brushing his teeth.

She groaned as she flung back her own half of the blankets. She refused to be the only one with morning breath, so she forced herself to get up.

She immediately regretted her decision when the chill of the air hit her. She already longed to get back in the warm cocoon of her blankets. She was starting to wonder if they had an insulation problem at their home or if she felt cold too acutely.

Qian Meng scampered into the bathroom and over to the sink. She snatched her toothbrush and saw Mo Qingchen in the toilet area. She had a view of his taut ass that she loved so much. The scene would have been sexy if she couldn't hear the sound of him urinating.

When had they reached this stage where locking the toilet wasn't a thought that crossed their mind? Had they been married too long?

But their ache for each other hadn't diminished. So, it shouldn't be something to worry about.

Qian Meng ignored him and moved back and forth from one leg to the other in an attempt to warm herself up. When Mo Qingchen turned around and saw her, he began to laugh.

"What are you doing?" he asked as she pushed the toothbrush into her mouth.

"I'm trying to get warm! She answered in a garbled manner from around the toothbrush. "Can you get me a sweatshirt?"

She was starting to regret not putting something on before bed but she hated sleeping in too many clothes. But she was so cold that her nipples felt like they were about to pop off.

She watched in the mirror as Mo Qingchen came to stand behind her. He washed his hand before wiping it. And then, his warm hands found their way to her hips and stilled her.

"Why would I do that if I am just going to take it off again?" he teased.

She smirked. "Are you going to warm me up yourself, then?"

"Of course."

She laughed as she leaned over the sink to rinse her mouth. He took advantage of her position and ground his morning wood against her, making her squirm.

"Go warm my sheets," she said as she pushed back against him.

"Yes, Goddess."

He spanked her ass hard enough to make her jump before he walked away. She shook her head as she rinsed the toothbrush. Playful Mo Qingchen always made her tingle inside. So did the thought of getting him back into bed.

After putting her toothbrush away, she used the restroom before going back to the bedroom. Mo Qingchen was back in bed, sitting up against the pillows. He scrolled through what she assumed were emails.

He was supposed to be taking the day off, but she figured he would end up working from home again. He couldn't help himself. He was a workaholic. But that was how he had made his fortune, so she couldn't scold him too much for that.
