"Make sure she takes her medication," the doctor said and Luka sighed,

"I will thank you for coming doctor" he replied,

"You are welcome, I will take your leave now," the doctor said then left, and a little while after the girl woke up.

"You are up," her brother said as she sat up.

'Sorry if I scared you Luka" she said,

"It's fine" he replied then patted her on the head,

'From now on it is my duty to see you take your medications" he said and she smiled,

"Thanks, James," Luka said,

"Anytime, I will leave make sure to lock the door Luka" he replied,

"Don't worry I will" he replied as James walked out and Luka locked the door then came back to his sister.

"Come on time for bed," he said and she got up the went to her room, and laid on her bed.

"I am sleeping in here with you on the futon," he said,

"Fine do as you please" she replied,

"Okay I am going to go take a bath, be right back," he said,

"Okay" she replied with a yawn as her brother went to take a bath.

After he finished taking a bath, he got dressed and when he came back into her room she was already asleep so he covered her with the blanket then lower the air conditioner and went to sleep too.

After a good night's rest the next morning when the girl woke up she saw that her brother was gone, so she got up and went downstairs only to see her brother making breakfast in the kitchen.

"Good morning Luka," she said,

"Morning sis, go get ready I will have breakfast down in a few" he replied,

"Okay," she said as she went back to her room to take a bath.

When the girl finished taking her bath, she got dressed for school then came back down in the kitchen for breakfast.

"Ah you are done, come on let's eat," he said as she sat down and stared at him.

"Can you take my shift at the cafe this afternoon?" she asked and he looked at her sternly.

"What are you hiding from me sis?" he asked and she coughed then he gave her her coffee.

"What makes you say that?" she asked,

"Well I know you too good, go on spill" he responded,

"Fine, sis and dad are coming home today," she said and his eyes widened.

"Oh okay, you go to work, I know you like watch surfing, we will do what we normally do, do not let them change anything for you, they can handle themselves is that clear sis?" he asked and she sighed.

"Okay," she responded,

"Sis you know this is for the best I am not going to let anyone take advantage of you, you need to get rid of that softness in your heart," he said and she smiled then patted him on the head.

"Come on get going or we will be late" she replied as he got up and went to took a bath while she played games on her phone, a little while after he finished taking a bath, he got dressed then came back down.

"All done let's go," he said and they got out of the house then locked the door and got into the car.

"Good morning James," both of them said as he opened the gate.

"Good morning you two" he replied then they drove off.

About 15 minutes later they arrived at school and upon parking his friends rushed to the car.

"Morning you guys," Fin said,

"Good morning" both of them replied.

"Good morning Emica" Zack said,

"Good morning Zack" she replied,

"Oh hello I am right here," Luka said and Zack laughed.

"Come on let's get to class, you and I are seniors you juniors go to class," Zack said for he and Emica was the same age.

"Fine come on or we will get scolded by the principal," Luka said as they all walked into the school together.

Zack and Emica's first class was English by miss Mayah.

"See you guys at lunch," Luka said as they went their separate ways.

"Well this is our first class together, don't worry I will be by your side like I promised your bro," he said and she smiled,

"Thanks" she replied as they entered the class and she sat down. Zack's seat was just opposite hers.

As the teacher came into class she took out her books then introduced herself and they began their class.

While the teacher was speaking about a novel called Miss Daisy's heroic journey, the girl's headed started hurting then she realized she forgot to drink her medication.

A few minutes later her brother rushed into the classroom and everyone left staring at him.

"Luka" the teacher called out,

"Miss I am so sorry but I need to speak to my sister alone please," he said and the teacher sighed then looked at the girl.

"Your brother is one of this school's biggest headaches, go on," the teacher said and the girl got up and went out of the classroom.

'Bro what's wrong?" she asked and he passed her the medications.

"Sorry I kept them with me and I forgot to give you" he responded and she smiled then collected them.

'Thank you but you need to relax, don't stress yourself out behind me, please, I will be fine" she said then he smiled and hugged her,

"Fine, but take your medicine" he replied then left and she went back into her class then took out her bottle of water and took her medications.

After she finished she could not help but think of what will happen when her father and sister come home.

"Oh god I hope that my brother and father don't fight, they are always on the edge," she said to herself.

Zack noticed the girl was lost in space then called out her name quietly and she jumped and looked at him then he smiled and she continued doing her work.
