The Tribrid Girl Chapter 52

The girl then decided to go find out what the prince problem was, little did she know that was the wrong idea, he was not in a good mood at all.
She knocked and walked into his room that afternoon, upon seeing her it pissed him off more, he grabbed the glass and threw it at her but Jacob appeared and pulled her out of the way, the boy took the hit and after the glass broke a few pieced were stuck in his hand and he was bleeding.
The prince turned and looked as his blood dripped on the floor, the princess saw and grabbed on to Jacob, she took him to the garden and there she took the glasses out of his hand and wrapped him up in bandage.
He looked at her smiling "what's wrong?" she asked,
"Nothing, thank you" he said,
She smiled "i am the one who should be thanking you, thanks for that" she replied,
"You are welcome, are you upset with me?" he asked,
She looked at him and sat down "why would i be?" she asked,
"Well because of what i told the prince earlier" he said,
"No i am not, part of it was true so" she replied.
"Do you l9ove the prince?" he asked,
Her eyes trembled at his question "uh... no i do not love him, he and i were just pretending" she said.
"I am sorry to aske personal question, i understand" he replied with a bright smiled..
"Uh.. i have to go now, are you gonna be okay?" she asked,
"Yeah, i have some business to take care of too, i will se you later" he responded.
The girl went to look for Cassius after looking around she found him in the lake,

"Cassius" she called out,
He turned and looked at her "what do you want?" he asked,
"Sorry for earlier" she said,
"You are apologizing?" he asked,
"Yeah, why?" she asked,
"Nothing, i do not need an apology so get lost" he said,
"Huh, he is being cold still" she said to herself,
"If you want to come in then i suggest you do, cause i am not leaving for now" he said.
The girl did not like when he is being cold, so she sighed, took her cape off and went into the cold lake, after going in the water, he smiled and she saw,
"What is it?" she asked,
"I never thought you would actually come in with me being here" he said as he stared as the water soaked her clothing and showed her body figure.
"Come here" he said,
"Hmm should i listen?, damn it is so frustrating to be around him, especially when you do not know what the hell he is thinking" she said to herself,
He then stretched forward and pulled her to where he was.
She then throwed herself back in the water, the girl enjoyed he coldness in the water, seeing her smile the prince left staring at her,
She looked at him "thank you" she said,
"Huh what for?" he asked,
She then walked to him and hugged him, his eyes widened in surprise, her face was against his wet cold body and her body braced to his, he was about to hug her back but then his eyes started to glow looking at her.
She raised up and looked at him, the girl then took her necklace off, "if you are thirsty then you can go ahead" she said as her eyes sparkled looking at his eyes.

"The hell is wrong with you?" he asked,
"If it was not for you, i would never had met my mother, you deserve a thanks" she said,
"It is not like i did it on purpose" he replied as he walked away from her.
She then looked at him as he walked to the other side in the lake, her heart started to thump fast and she hugged him from behind.
"What the hell am i doing?, it like i am getting pulled towards him" she said to herself.
The girl raised up and he turned towards her, he then grabbed her by the waist and pulled her closer to him, the prince leaned in and took a bite on her neck, as he did that her eyes started to glow white but her powers did not act up.
The girl was in pain but still felt comfortable in his arms, she grabbed on to his shoulder and squeezed him, a little while after he stopped, the prince took his fangs out gently, let go of her waist and wiped the blood off of his lips.
The princess then washed the blood off of her neck by laying in the water, she stood in front of her as she stared into his eyes, the prince felt weird with her being so nice towards him, he did not like that.
He then walked to the side of her and asked her to stand up, the girl did as he asked,
"What's wrong?" she asked.
He did not respond, all the prince did was grabbed her by her hand and turned her around. He then stared at her body from behind and his eyes started to glow as he passed his hands on her leg, the girl felt his hand on her body and started to tremble.
He then kissed her on the neck and she gasped, "why can't i move?" she asked, herself.
Her eyes kept glowing as he turned her towards her, the boy then leaned in and kissed her, her body started to feel comfortable in his hands and she kissed him back, they lips were locked together.
It was as if the girl was someone else, she handed over her body to the prince at that moment even he was surprised but he did not stop at the kiss.
They the raised up and looked at each other, he was about to take her clothes off when he realized that it was still bright outside, the boy laughed and the girl turned away and came out of the lake.
"Octavia" he called out gently as he came out behind her.
She turned to him but with her head down, "you are welcome" he said as he walked passed her.
They both went to their rooms and a little while later they came to the dining room which the queen had already repair and sat down for dinner, the prince sat near her and her face got a little pink, her mother saw and smiled.
The girl felt awkward being around Cassius. So she tried to finish her food as fast as possible.

The Laptop Hero (Portal/Isekai LitRPG)
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] - April 2022 Silas got summoned to another world—by a group of kids attending magic school who seemed rather unhappy with the results of their ritual. After a brief glimpse of his summoners Silas woke in the town dump. Unable to speak the local language, a misunderstanding escalated and before long Silas wound up in a jail cell, the locals having confiscated all his worldly possessions aside from his laptop, which had formed some strange bond with him. Now he can summon his laptop at will, and he can view his Status, level up, and gain powerful skills and magic as if he were some character in a video game, which is great and everything, but all Silas really wants to do is sit in a dark room and play games on his laptop. Only, life isn't a game, and Silas needs to get his act together because everyone else is playing for keeps. Or does he? Maybe for Silas life is just one big game now, with everyone else stuck playing by his rules. Assorted Disclaimers, in no particular order: I am only posting this on RoyalRoad.com, so if you find my story elsewhere it was not posted by me. Please do let me know! While I do consider this a progression fantasy, and have tagged it as such, Silas's Status improvements will not necessarily proceed in a linear fashion. His RPG stats will have ups and downs, exploits and nerfs, periods of growth and stagnation. Such is the life of a gamer, to be held under the thumb of the all powerful devs, or in this case a certain goddess devoted to the idea of Balance. SIlas himself should learn and grow, improving and progressing in areas where he struggles, or rather, to show such is my goal. The story is told from multiple points of view. While other PoVs will come and go, Silas shall remain the only lead character. The world Silas finds himself on is not a nice place. Expect him to encounter gore and traumatizing content and bad people who do bad things for selfish (or possibly noble) reasons from time to time. Some characters will use profanity, however due to cultural differences the curse words used will differ from those used in our corner of reality, so I'm not including the profanity content warning. Silas himself isn't one for foul language. No explicit sexual content here. This novel is intended for mature readers, however, and will include mature topics, including, but not limited to, sex, violence, death, and taxes. No harem. Might be an eventual romantic interest, possibly even some competitive jealousy, yet as his story begins Silas is too overwhelmed with other concerns to consider long term plans. Musophobics might want to steer clear of this story. Same goes for turophobics. You have been warned. Keep in mind, however, if my other disclaimers didn't make this clear, I only have the faintest of outlines at the moment. This story will take me where it will. My goal with this story is to write it to the end, something of a long-term writing exercise, with the hope others might take an interest in my work and encourage me to keep at it. I've started a number of works before, even finished a few, but this is the first time I've shared any work in a public forum. My temporary cover was made by me, in GIMP using public domain images. If you can do better I'll happily accept your submission and give credit for your work here!

Madness Led by the Hands
‘Great, no… splendid. It was for naught.’ ‘Naught? Depends. If your desire is to send an army of killers our family’s way, yes indeed. If it’s plain survival you seek, then no.’ ‘They don’t coexist?’ ‘What… don’t tell me you’re still all groggy from the fall. Perhaps in novels, but real life is much tougher–––many more times a drag than anyone can possibly imagine. If dusty history is not a reliable teacher for you, then the pandemic surely took that place. At least that one has the advantage you needn’t be literate to savvy how reality always trumps imagination.’ ‘Whatever you say, whatever you say. So… what now?’ ‘Now? Isn’t it obvious? Now we shall survive. And live a good life.’ ‘Ohh… pretty much everything here has something against this little weird wish of ours. Might you consider?’ ‘Then pretty much everything here is a goner.’ ‘Hm, I don’t like the sound of that. Too much trouble, you see. I’d prefer laying low somewhere safe.’ ‘…nobody told you it’s mutually exclusive, no–––or did you forget about that too?’ ‘Fine, then I wish my future enemies all the best.’ ‘They are undeserving of your pity.’ ‘Of course not. That unlucky bunch won’t ever comprehend the reason behind their demise. Just let me smoke in peace and offer my condolence in advance.’ ‘Idem, let me study alchemy, unobstructed by all, if possible. This also includes you. By the way, are you sure you smoke to offer condolences? It seems like an excuse to me.’ ‘I-it is none. Plain truth, you see?’ ‘Seriously, why did I even ask...?’
