A little while later, she fell on her knees and Liam came to her, he held her by the shoulder "you need help" he said,

She looked at him as blood came out of her mouth, at the scent of her blood the prince eyes glowed red, "damn it, i cannot get distracted by blood not now" he said to himself as he bit his lip and had some of his own blood. ​​

The prince was about to help her when the wolf got up and kicked him into a tree,

"Liam" she called out,

"You have exhausted yourself and the poison is spreading faster, you will die in no time" he said to her as he hit her by her stomach. The girl laid on the ground unable to move, she looked at her mother as tears fell from her eyes on to her cheek.

Cassius was going to help her but remembered the task at hand, he looked at her as the life came out of the girl every passing minute, Liam got back up and as he was going to attack the wolf when a certain chill, came into the air.

The wind was strong and the air was cold, it was as if a storm was on its way, the wolf picked up his sword and was going to stab the girl, as he was going to do that a shadow grabbed on to his hands and threw him into a rock.

Out came the shadow, the thing known as the shadow. It promised the girl that it would be by her side and he kept that promise by saving her.

"What is it doing here?" Cassius said as he brought the queen to where Liam was, which was not far from the girl.

"It is the shadow" the queen said.

The dark smoke around it disappeared and out came a young handsome man, he was fair, had black hair, a unique eye color which was mixed with both green and blue, had slim and muscular body and fine face features and he wore a black and red robe, it was similar to the one of Wei Wuxian's.

He smiled at her as she stared at how handsome he was,

"it is a man" Liam said,

"Yeah i can see that Liam" Cassius replied.

The black wolf got up, "ah so you came to her rescue after all" he said,

"I will not let you have things your way" the other guy replied.

"Ha how will you protect her and fight me at the same time?" Damien asked,

The other guy laughed "this will be a piece of cake" he replied as he placed his hand on Octavia's wound, "that need to be taken care of" he said to her,

"I know, it's just i can hardly move" she replied,

"Hmm do not worry, try an relax while i deal with him" he said as he stood up and his hands glowed red when he wolf swung his paw at him, the guy grabbed on to his paw and cuffed him by his knee causing his feet to break, it only took one hit for him to cause damage.

The black wolf fell to the floor, but he did not give up, soon after he folded his hands as it glowed, he then punched the other guy into a tree, the guy name was Jacob and he was a ninja before he became a shadow.

Jacob got up laughing, "if you think that you will win me, then i am afraid you are highly mistaken, with her around i get more powerful by every second and you know that" he said,

"Huh with me around" she said to herself,

"What does he mean by that? Cassius asked,

"I do not know, but we have to be thankful that he showed up or else she would probably be dead by now" Liam responded,

"That is true Cassius, do not worry" the queen said.

The girl grabbed on to his hand, he looked at her and smile, "i will be fine, try and relax, the more pressure the faster the poison will spread" he said to her.

"Enough of this nonsense, you and i both know what she is capable of too, it is no wonder you get so strong when she is around" the black wolf shouted,

"Ha.. you can say whatever the hell you want, i do not give a damn" he said sternly.

His eyes and his hands glowed white and a shining sword appeared in his hand, Damien gasped,

"One strike at the heart with that from him and i am finished, besides o do not have much energy left" he said to himself.

He attacked Jacob but the boy was really fast he manage to doge every attack, he was even faster than the prince.

He finally stopped moving fast when he heard Octavia groan, that was when the wolf struck him on the hand, he placed the same poison on him just like he did with the girl but for some reason it did not weaken him.

He got really angry at Damien and as he did the earth beneath the black wolf's foot shook, Damien trembled in fear.

The earth broke a part creating a small crater, he fell and the boy struck him with the sword by his stomach, the wolf was smart he avoided getting killed by moving so that he could not strike him by the heart.

He struggled to get up and when he did he smiled "this is not my time to die not by the hands of you fools anyways, i will be seeing you guys soon, you might want to take a look at the princess" he said as he disappeared into thin air.

They all rushed to the girl, Cassius placed his hand on her forehead, "she is burning up" he said,

"Uh can you move over please?" Jacob asked,

"Hmm sure" Cassius replied.

The boy hands glowed and he placed it over her head, "lets take her inside, i will treat her there, close your eyes and i will teleport everyone there" he said.

Everyone did as he asked and in less than a minutes they arrived in the living room of the palace.
