After they booked two rooms at the motel, Cassius lifted Octavia and took her to the room, he then went to check on how William was doing, it turns out the boy was already healed up, "that was fast" Cassius said,

"Yeah it always is for a vamp" he replied, ​​

"Cassius you could have killed her" he replied,

"Yeah that is probably true, anyways I will be returning to the mansion before night, I got a guest unfortunately" he replied,

"Let me guess Angelica huh" he said,

"Well good luck" Cassius said as he left the room.

He went to his room and there he saw Octavia was trying to rub some ointment on her neck where he choked her, the prince sighed and went to her, he grabbed the tube of ointment,

The girl sat there quietly and bend her neck, the prince took a little bit if it and rubbed it in her neck gently, the girl closed her eyes at the softness of the prince's hand.

She smiled "thank you" she said,

"Whatever, don't you think that I a sorry for what happen because to be honest I am not nor will I ever be" he replied,

"I do not care if you are or not, what matters is that no one else other than the duke and myself knows your truth and to be honest in my opinion you are much more than just a normal vampire, no normal vampire has that kind of power" she said,

"Hmm you have a point but forget about me what about you it is clear that you are not just a werewolf" he replied,

She grabbed her scarf and they left, the duke looked at Octavia and smiled, he stretched his hands out to her, she grabbed it and her hands started to glow, "it is just like i thought, you are not just a werewolf" he said,

"Okay" she replied.

About half an hour later, just before the sun went down they arrived at the mansion,

"Where were you guys?" Liam asked,

He sighed and sent the maid for hot chocolates for everyone because the place was very cold that night.

The maid brought the hot chocolates with Marshmallow on top with a few pastries, they all took some and talked for a while, while they were talking Angelica noticed that the prince was sitting near her fiancee and so was the duke, that got to her and she immediately disliked the girl.

She stared Octavia as if she was about to strangle her, the girl could feel Angelica staring at her and she did not like that.

The duke looked at her sternly "is something wrong?" he asked,

She smiled "no everything is perfectly fine" she replied.

It was getting pretty late and they were tired and wanted to rest so everyone decided to go to bed, as Octavia got up and walked alongside the duke, Angelica placed her right feet forward, which caused the girl to trip but the duke caught her,

"You okay?" he asked,

"Yeah i am fine" she replied, as she let go of his hands and held on to Cassius, yes the prince did not like her holding on to him but he did not say anything and just let her be.

"She is a third wheel between me and the duke and i think i will have to do something about her" Angelica said to her maid,

"What do you intend to do my lady?" the maid asked,

"I do not know as yet" she replied as she left for her quarters.

As for the duke he went to his room, took a bath, got dressed and slept away on his couch.

Octavia entered the room with the prince and she sat down on the chair, the girl took off the scarf, opened down her hair and combed it, while she was doing that the prince stared at her.

Octavia looked up at him and smiled, but that triggered the darkness within him, he got up and rushed to the closet and locked himself in there it was so huge that there was a little library in there, he sat on the floor as the dark aura came out of his right hand, the prince created the black lightning with his left him and held it down on his right hand.

What he did was only causing him pain, the girl sensed the darkness and knocked on the door,

"Sire are you okay?" she asked,

"Yeah i am fine, just leave me alone" he responded.

She did not want to leave him alone especially when she knew about his conditions, she closed her eyes and her nails grew longer, she used them to pick the lock and the retracted when she was finished, the girl opened the door and saw the prince's condition.

She held him by his shoulder and he stood up, "you are stubborn, damn it" he said.

She smiled and wrapped up her hair in a bun, "you need it don't you?" she asked.

His eyes glowed red and his fangs came out, he leaned in placed his hand on her face gently as he took a bite, every time he did that, he drained more blood, but the girl did not care, when he finished, the darkness disappeared. The prince looked at her and walked away.

He was really tired so he went to bed, he fell asleep after a few minutes and Octavia tucked him in, as she did that her head started to spin and she fell on the bed near the prince, her hand landed on his chest and she was unconscious.
