Turning her face away, Shi Yuxuan fanned herself. "It's so hot. It's too hot."
"Bear with it." Li Beichen frowned even more deeply, his cold and deep eyes sweeping across her face.
Shi Yuxuan did not say anything. She only felt his vision turning dark.
Within minutes, she was sobbing loudly. Almost unconsciously, she stretched her leg out and it landed on his lap.
Li Beichen glanced at her unhappily. With just one glance of his, there was a sense of oppression that one could not hide from.
Shi Yuxuan realized that she had taken a step too far and quickly pulled her leg back.
"Why are we not there yet…" She mumbled to herself as she curled up into a ball and leaned against the corner of the car. To make herself more awake, she pinched her arm a few times with a lot of force. Anyone would feel pain when they saw it, and Li Beichen was no exception.
He lifted his thin lips and looked down at her.

When the door closed with a bang, Shi Yuxuan's heart trembled. She had never seen a man change his attitude faster than him.
As the cold water washed over her skin, Yuxuan's anxious body slowly calmed down.
After that, she simply soaked her entire body in the cold bathtub. The feeling of being submerged in water made her feel really refreshed.
