Gu Yechen grinned as he reached over to the nightstand, pulling out the cabinet and grabbing something from inside, "Don't worry about that. I am always prepared."

He Xinyan looked down and saw the small protection package. She closed her eyes and opened them again, looking up at him pitifully.

"Yechen, it's cold." She said softly, tugging at his shirt sleeve.

However, she did not know that this small action would only cause him to get more excited as he immediately pressed down again, beginning to take off his clothes.

"Gu Ye -" Her lips were immediately blocked, and in the next few seconds, she felt a gush of cold wind enter her bare skin.

He Xinyan should know by now. . . There was no way she could beat Gu Yechen in this type of situation.

The next morning, He Xinyan stayed buried under the warm blankets although she was awake already. There was a sour body throughout her body, and it didn't help that it was so cold outside.

It was December already, and although it wasn't snowing, the temperature outside was extremely chilly.

Gu Yechen finished getting ready and he walked out in a black suit with a tie in his hands, "Baby, should I tell the worker to bring the breakfast up?"

He Xinyan shook her head, "It's okay. I'll wake up soon."

Gu Yechen smiled and sat down on the bed, bending down to kiss her on the lips. After a few seconds, he pulled away and waved the tie in his hands.

He Xinyan sighed and sat up on the bed, still keeping the blanket wrapped around her upper body. She lifted both arms out of the blankets and grabbed the tie from him.

Gu Yechen smiled happily as he lifted his head up slightly to let He Xinyan help tie his tie. After she was finished, she immediately buried herself into the blanket again.

He grinned and kissed her once more before standing up, "I'm going to work now, okay? Goodbye, baby."

He Xinyan nodded her head and watched as he left the room. Then, she closed her eyes to continue to sleep. Ah, every night that. . . that happened, she knew that the next morning would be a sleep-in day. This meant that most days were sleep-in days for her!

Some time later, two small creatures ran into the room in their pajamas, jumping onto the large bed.

"Mommy! I brought the breakfast up," He Yulan said excitedly.

"What do you mean?! I'm the one holding the tray." Gu Anping looked at his little sister and pursed his lips out.

He Xinyan opened her eyes and sat up on the bed, taking the tray from him, "Thank you, my babies."

"Mommy, are you tired?"

He Xinyan nodded her head.

"Why? Did you sleep in last night?" Little Gu Anping asked, tilting his head slightly.

He Xinyan looked up at the little version of Gu Yechen with a sweet smile, "Yes."

He Yulan frowned, "Why?"

She cleared her throat and quickly took a sip of the milk, "Haha, you will know in the future. Mommy is just tired."

"Oh," He Yulan pursed her little, cute pink lips and sat down next to her mommy, laying her head onto He Xinyan's shoulder.

"Mommy, when do I get to go be the flower girl for Uncle Yebei's wedding?"

He Xinyan smiled, "There is a rehearsal today. Uncle Yebei's wedding is in three days, and you will get to be his flower girl.'

He Yulan smiled excitedly, "With a pretty dress?"

He Xinyan nodded.

He Yulan squealed excitedly as she hopped up and down on the bed, "I can't wait for uncle Yebei and auntie Minger's wedding! Mommy, will there be more weddings?"

He Xinyan nodded, "Of course! There are a lot of weddings."

He Yulan sat down on the bed and looked up at her mommy with sparkling eyes, "When is mommy and daddy's wedding? Can I be the flower girl at mommy and daddy's wedding too?"

Gu Anping sat down next to his sister, rolling his eyes, "Are you stupid? Mommy and daddy are married already! The wedding was before we were born."

He Yulan glared at her brother, "I'm not stupid! You're stupid!"

He Xinyan smiled gently as she watched the two of them, "Okay, okay. Don't call each other stupid. Yes Yulan, your brother is right. Daddy and mommy got married years ago already, before you were even born."

Gu Anping lifted his chin up proudly, in the exact same manner as Gu Yechen, "See!"

He Yulan pursed her lips out and glared at her brother before sighing, "So, I won't get to be the flower girl at mommy and daddy's wedding?"

He Xinyan chuckled, "You can ask daddy to arrange another marriage?"

He Yulan looked up excitedly, "Okay! Daddy agrees to everything!"

He Xinyan smiled. That was indeed very true! Gu Yechen had no ability to say no to his little princess, and sometimes, she would even get jealous at how well he treated her! She wanted to be his daughter too! Okay, He Xinyan was just kidding.

"Come on now. Mommy is going to get out of bed. Let's go to the wedding rehearsal together, okay?"

He Yulan and Gu Anping nodded their heads as He Xinyan got off the bed. The three of them entered the restroom, the two little kids following closely behind their mommy.

After getting ready, the three of them ate breakfast together and He Xinyan played with them for several hours.

Finally, they left for the wedding rehearsal.

"Mommy, why don't I get to wear a pretty dress today?" He Yulan asked, still upset that she couldn't dress up for the rehearsal.

He Xinyan smiled, "You will be for the real wedding. That will be more special, right?"

He Yulan sighed before nodding his head slowly.

They drove for about an hour until they arrived at the pier the wedding was going to be held at. There was a large dock, and the wedding would be "on the water", like Wu Minger had always dreamt of.

The two little babies had fallen asleep, and He Xinyan had to wake them up before they got out of the car together.

The rehearsal took several hours, and when they finally finished, the three of them walked back to the car. Next to their car, another black car had parked.

Upon seeing them, the door opened and Gu Yechen walked out, dressed in his black suit.

"Daddy!" He Yulan screamed as she let go of her mommy's hand and ran over to Gu Yechen, who bent down and lifted her up in the air.

"Lanlan!" He said, kissing her on the cheek, causing her to giggle.

He Xinyan looked at the two of them with a smile, a little jealous even though He Yulan was her daughter. Of course she was jealous! Gu Yechen was hers! Hmph!

Little Gu Anping held onto his mother's hand tightly and scoffed, "Mommy, I like you the most!"

He Xinyan looked down at him and chuckled, bending down to lift him up, kissing him on the forehead, "I like my little Pingping the most too!"

From afar, Gu Yechen saw this and his face darkened a little. Yes, the large vinegar tub cracked again and the vinegar was flowing out.

That little devil! He was trying to steal his Xinyan away from him! Yes, that must be it. His son was a little devil that wanted to steal his wife away!

Gu Yechen set He Yulan down and held onto her hand, walking over to He Xinyan. Gu Yechen first glared at his son unhappily before turning to look at his wife.

"Come on, let's go home. I'll cook."

"Yayy!!" He Yulan squealed happily, although she couldn't eat much anyway.

Gu Anping frowned as he looked over at his mommy, "Mommy, I want to learn how to cook too! I want to cook for you!"

Gu Yechen's eyes narrowed slightly as he turned to look at his son, "Gu Anping, you are still too young. Plus, I am mommy's husband. I can cook for her."

Gu Anping pursed his cute little lips out, "But I want to cook for mommy! I can cook for mommy too!" As he spoke, he wrapped his tiny little arms around He Xinyan's neck protectively.

This caused Gu Yechen's face to darken even more.

He Xinyan chuckled as she kissed her son on the cheek again, "Okay, okay. When you grow older, I can teach you how to cook, okay?"

Gu Anping nodded his head.

He Xinyan smiled and began walking towards the car.

Gu Yechen stayed in place for a few seconds, furrowing his eyebrows together as he thought that something was off.

Wait a second. . .

He Xinyan was going to teach him how to cook?! He Xinyan?!

Gu Yechen's mouth fell open as he lifted his daughter up again and ran after He Xinyan, following her onto her car and into the driver's seat.

Together, the family of four drove back home.
