"You are going to Country Y for Wu Minger, right?"

Gu Yebei's eyes widened slightly and he quickly tried to hide it, "Haha, what do you mean, brother?"

Gu Yechen shot him an angry glare and placed his hands into his pant pockets, "The Wu family also left for Country Y yesterday. You don't have to lie to me, Gu Yebei."

Gu Yebei chuckled awkwardly and scratched his head, "Brother, you won't tell mom or dad, right?"

Gu Yechen glared at him, "Why are you still so persistent after what they did?!"

Gu Yebei's smile disappeared as he sighed, staring up at the airport ceiling, "I told myself that it was impossible after I realized what had happened. However, you know. . . love is blind. I tell myself that I can't love her anymore, but I can't stop myself."

He turned around and looked at his brother with a soft smile, "If sister-in-law did something like that, would you stop loving her?"

Gu Yechen blinked a few times a little blankly, staring into his brother's eyes. Finally, he pressed his lips together and nodded his head.

If He Xinyan actually did that. . . He chuckled softly. He was glad that He Xinyan wasn't against him. If she was, then he would willingly give his life to her. She could ask for anything from him, and he would give it to her.

He sighed as he tilted his head slightly, looking over at He Xinyan, who was playing with the baby boy. Then, he looked back at his brother and placed one hand onto his shoulder.

"Good luck."

Gu Yebei smiled, "Thank you."

An hour later, the airplane flew off into the sky, and the 6 of them watched as the airplane disappeared.

After he was gone, the 6 of them left the airport and went separate ways. Gu Hanyu and Xu Mengya left for their house, while Gu Yechen and He Xinyan and the two babies left for theirs.

In the car, Gu Yechen told He Xinyan about the true reason why Gu Yebei left. He Xinyan was indeed surprised, but it quickly went away. She didn't believe that Gu Yebei's feelings for Wu Minger were gone after that incident. She also didn't believe that Wu Minger's feelings for Gu Yebei were gone after that incident.

She sighed and looked out the car window. Hopefully, something good will happen in Country Y.

--- Two Years Later

In the airport, 6 people stood in front of the arrival area, waiting for someone familiar to walk out. There were four adults, and next to them, two babies ran around.

One wore a cute pink dress and the other wore a sky blue suit. As people walked around, they couldn't help but stop to take a look at the cute little children.

He Xinyan turned around and walked over to the two little kids, "Come here, Lanlan, Pingping. Your uncle Yebei is coming soon. Stand here."

The two of them followed their mommy to the front of the arrival area. Gu Yechen bent down and picked up He Yulan, carrying her on his arm so she could see past the arrival area.

He Xinyan bent down and lifted up Gu Anping, who wrapped his two short arms around her leg.

"Uncle Yebei?" He Yulan asked confusedly.

He Xinyan laughed, "Did you forget about your uncle Yebei already?"

He Yulan frowned, "The one in the phone?"

He Xinyan chuckled, "Yes. He played with you two when you were still babies."

Then, the door opened and people began walking out now. All of them turned to look at the gate, waiting as groups of people walked out.

Finally, after several minutes, two familiar people came out of the gate.

Xu Mengya's eyes lit up in excitement, "Yebei! Here!"

Gu Yebei looked up and immediately noticed them, lifting one hand off the luggage cart to wave at them. He was wearing a formal dark blue suit, but that didn't lessen the playful and bright temperament he gave off.

Wu Minger stood next to him, wearing a brown trench coat and a scarf that covered up part of her face.

The two of them walked over excitedly, and after quickly hugging his mom, Gu Yebei immediately went over to the two little kids.

"Oh, Lanlan, Pingping, do you still remember your uncle Yebei?"

He Yulan and Gu Anping have only seen Gu Yebei through the phone in the past and only a few times as a baby since he left while they were still young.

Even so, they recognized him from the video calls.

"Uncle Yebei!" He Yulan smiled happily as Gu Yebei lifted her up the ground using one arm, and the other arm lifted Gu Anping up.

"Oh, look at you two! You two got so much heavier!"

Gu Anping nodded his head seriously, "I got taller too."

"Me too!"

Gu Yebei chuckled, "Your uncle Yebei and auntie Minger brought gifts for you too!"

"Auntie Minger!" During the calls, the two kids also talked to Wu Minger occasionally. After Gu Yebei arrived at Country Y, the first thing he did was find Wu Minger.

Although it was difficult, the two of them were able to finally get back together. Within the two years, their relationship has basically returned to what it was before, and none of them mentioned what had happened in the past.

He Xinyan and Gu Yechen walked over, and Gu Yechen immediately took He Yulan away from his brother, glaring at him angrily.

Gu Yebei pursed his lips out and hugged onto Gu Anping tightly.

"Welcome back, Yebei." He Xinyan smiled and then turned to Wu Minger. They had talked over the phone a few times after she left, and although their friendship still didn't fully return, there was no large or uncomfortable gap between them.

"Welcome back, Minger."

Wu Minger smiled, "Hello, Xinyan."

Xu Mengya and Gu Hanyu also walked over. Xu Mengya took Gu Anping away from Gu Yebei and kissed Gu Anping quickly on the cheek before turning to Gu Yebei, "You know to come back, huh?!"

Gu Yebei chuckled awkwardly.

"How is it over at Country Y? Your brother won't tell me how the company is doing."

Gu Yebei lifted his chin up proudly, "It's doing really well! Of course it would do well with me as the CEO!"

"Ch!" Xu Mengya rolled her eyes and looked over at Wu Minger.

"Auntie Xu," Wu Minger called politely.

Xu Mengya pressed her lips together before nodding her head, "Minger, welcome back."

Wu Minger let out a breath of relief and looked down so no one would notice the redness in her eyes.

"Come on. Let's not stay at the airport. It's dinnertime and they must be hungry. Let's go." He Xinyan turned around and grabbed onto Gu Yechen's hand.

The 8 of them walked out of the airport together, boarding the large car Gu Yechen had prepared and drove to a nearby restaurant.

After eating dinner, He Xinyan's family of 4 returned home.

They quickly put the two children to bed and returned to their own room. While brushing her teeth, He Xinyan walked over to Gu Yechen and placed one hand onto her shoulder.

"Mom isn't mad that Yebei didn't discuss the marriage with her until two days ago?"

Gu Yechen shrugged, "She doesn't seem to be mad. . . She respects his decision."

He Xinyan nodded her head, "Fate is really true. . . Even after that, the two of them were able to get together again."

Gu Yechen looked over at her with a smile as he put down his comb, "Would you leave me if I betrayed you like that?"

He Xinyan glared at him with a mouthful of toothpaste bubbles and rolled her eyes, "I'll chop your legs off!"

Gu Yechen chuckled and patted her on the head, "Go finish brushing your teeth."

She rolled her eyes and walked back over to the sink.

Half an hour later, Gu Yechen closed the lights and walked over to the bed. However, he didn't walk over to his part of the bed. Instead, he moved around and over to He Xinyan's side of the bed. As he sat down, He Xinyan felt that something was off as she opened her eyes.

"What are you doing?"

Gu Yechen grinned in the darkness before he lifted the blanket up and suddenly pressed down right on top of her, placing the blanket over himself as well.

Without waiting for any discussion, he leaned down and blocked her lips with a kiss.

"Mm. . . Gu Yechen!" He Xinyan immediately felt the cold winter air enter the warm blanket as she shuddered slightly. However, Gu Yechen refused to let her go as he continued to kiss her more aggressively, pushing his tongue into her mouth.

"Mm. . ."

Finally, Gu Yechen pulled away after a minute and used one finger to lift her chin up, staring at her mischievously, "Let's make another baby."

At once, He Xinyan's eyes widened in shock, "What?! Didn't you say you don't want me to get pregnant again?"

She didn't want to either! After getting pregnant once, she was absolutely done with all those pregnancy side effects and the pain of labor.

Gu Yechen grinned as he reached over to the nightstand, pulling out the cabinet and grabbing something from inside, "Don't worry about that. I am always prepared."
