Finally, she stood up and sighed, "I'll go with you. . ."

She had to see if this was true for herself.

He Xinyan let out a breath of relief and took a look at the clock on the wall, causing her heart to rise again. There was only about half an hour! She didn't even know how long it would take to drive there.

At least she was certain about who was behind all of this now.

Wu Yin followed He Xinyan down to her car and before long, they were on their way to the address Gu Yechen had got.

As they drove, He Xinyan called Gu Yechen, who quickly picked up.

"Yechen, I found Wu Yin. She is the one we are looking for. Take your time, I am on my way right now. Just try to drag the time out, okay?"

Gu Yechen knit his eyebrows together as he pulled the car over to the sidewalk and gulped, "Okay. I am only about 5 minutes away from the warehouse. I'll wait a little. . . So, Wu Minger is behind this."

He Xinyan sighed as she glanced at Wu Yin, who was also listening since her phone was on speaker mode, "Yes. Maybe also her brother. . ."

Gu Yechen scoffed, "So she had purposely agreed to date Yebei for this reason?"

He Xinyan was a little scared by the tone of his voice but she also agreed with him. Wu Minger's motives weren't pure. . .

She had remembered back to when Wu Minger and Gu Yebei had started to date. It was still back when she was filming the drama with Gu Yebei and Yang Siyue.

After careful thought, she finally remembered how after they started dating, Wu Minger was a little off. No wonder. . . She hadn't thought much about it back then, but now it made sense.

"Okay, just take your time. I'm coming over, okay? See if you can text the person and find out where they are hiding. They are probably near the warehouse since they have to check if the contract you provided is real and give you Gu Yebei."

Gu Yechen nodded, "Okay? I'll text them."

He Xinyan hung up the call and pressed down further on the gas pedal, speeding the car up. They were way past the speed limit, but it didn't matter.

Wu Yin grasped on tightly to her seatbelt, her eyebrows tightly furrowed together.

"It's okay, Auntie Wu. I'm sure you will be able to know everything you want to know after you see them, and hopefully. . . stop them."

Wu Yin nodded her head, "I'm so sorry for causing all this trouble for you, Yanyan. I did not know that your husband was the son of brother Hanyu. I also did not know that Minger and Chenxi knew about it all! And. . . kidnapping Gu Yebei?!"

Wu Yin sighed, "Those two children. . ."

He Xinyan smiled softly, "Hopefully we will be able to stop them."

Half an hour later, they finally arrived at the warehouse area, but there were several warehouses, and they had to figure out which number it was.

They parked a distance away so Wu Minger and Wu Chenxi wouldn't think Gu Yechen had brought other people and ran out, searching for the warehouse number.

He Xinyan then saw Gu Yechen's car a few feet away, and they ran over.

"This is the second warehouse," He Xinyan exclaimed, pointing at the red number imprinted on the warehouse.

Gu Yechen wasn't inside his car as they were a minute late already, and they immediately ran in to see Gu Yechen walking away from the chair, which had the contract on it.

His eyes widened when he saw He Xinyan standing there with Wu Yin, and he immediately walked over, "You're here!"

He looked around the empty warehouse nervously and so did He Xinyan. If Wu Minger or Wu Chenxi was actually watching them, then -

Suddenly, there was a loud bang as the backdoor of the warehouse was suddenly pushed open.

At once, Gu Yechen pushed He Xinyan behind him in a protective manner, and she grabbed onto his hand.

They waited for a few silent seconds before then, there was the sound of footsteps and then a person came into view.

"Chenxi!" Wu Yin screamed as she ran over.

He Xinyan looked over and saw Wu Chenxi wearing a black suit, his hair slightly messy. What was he doing in here?

Wu Chenxi ran over to his mom and grabbed onto her hand, "Mom, what are you doing here?"

At once, Wu Yin lifted her hand up and began slapping Wu Chenxi on his arm, "What am I doing here?! I should be asking what you are doing here? Did you really kidnap Gu Yebei?!"

Wu Chenxi's expression changed slightly as his eyes landed on Gu Yechen and He Xinyan, "So you still ended up bringing someone with you. . . And it is my mom! It seems like you don't really care about your brother."

He grinned as he tilted his head slightly, saying into what seemed like an earbud, "Minger, kill him."

He Xinyan's eyes widened as she looked over at Gu Yechen alarmedly.

However, before either of them could make a move, Wu Yin snatched the earbud out of Wu Chenxi's ear and put it into her own.

"Wu Minger, are you over there?!"

Wu Chenxi tried to take his earbud back from his mom, but Wu Yin swatted his hand away. There were a few seconds of silence before Wu Yin then said, "Come over with Gu Yebei! Now!"

Then, she threw the earbud onto the ground and stepped on it, causing Wu Chenxi to take a step back in fear.

"Mom, what are you doing here?"

Wu Yin turned to look at her son and then the next second, there was a loud slap and He Xinyan gasped in surprise.

Wu Yin had slapped Wu Chenxi across the face!

Wu Chenxi was also in surprise for several seconds as he slowly looked up at his mom in shock. Wu Yin's eyes were slightly red as she looked like she was almost going to cry.

The two of them stared at each other for a few seconds before there was another bang as Wu Minger came running into the room.

First, she saw He Xinyan and Gu Yechen, and there was a change in her expression as she quickly looked away with guilt and sadness on her face.

Then, she saw her brother and mom and she walked over.

"Mom, why are you here?"

"You two!" Wu Yin looked so angry He Xinyan couldn't help but be afraid that she would get a heart attack at any moment, "First, go apologize to Yanyan and Gu Yechen! Also, where is Gu Yebei?"

Wu Chenxi narrowed his eyes, "Apologize? Why should we apologize?!" Mom, they are Gu Hanyu's kids. They -"

Wu Yin continued to hit Wu Chenxi angrily, "What do you know?! And you dragged your sister into it with you, didn't you?!"

Wu Minger looked down guiltily and didn't say anything. From her reaction, it was quite clear that Gu Chenxi had pulled her into it.

"Where is Gu Yebei?!" Wu Yin screamed again, this time towards Wu Minger.

Wu Minger looked up at her brother, who seemed extremely annoyed, and slowly said, "I'll go get him."

She slowly walked out of the warehouse, looking down at her feet the entire time.

They waited in silence for a few minutes before finally, there was the sound of footsteps and then Wu Minger returned with Gu Yebei following slowly behind her.

He Xinyan immediately walked out from behind Gu Yechen and called, "Gu Yebei!"

Gu Yebei looked up surprisedly and immediately ran over, wobbling slightly.

"Brother, you didn't give it to them, right?"

Gu Yechen looked over his brother with a worried expression, although he was trying not to show it too much, "Don't worry, your brother isn't dumb. I didn't."

Gu Yebei let out a sigh of relief.

"See what you two did?! What do you even know?"

The three of them looked up as they began to watch the show going on right now between the mother and children.

Wu Chenxi glared over at Gu Yebei and Gu Yechen before looking back at his mom, "You should know better than me. The Gu Corporation belongs to us! My dad was the oldest son of the Gu family. They stole it from us. They kicked dad out of the Gu family! We shouldn't be living like this right -"

Slap!

He Xinyan gasped again as she looked over at Gu Yechen, not sure if she should be happy or scared. Wu Yin had slapped her son again.

Wu Chenxi clenched his fists together but he couldn't do anything since Wu Yin was his mom.

"You don't know anything!" Wu Yin took quick and shallow breaths, almost like she was losing air, "How did I not know that you were so stupid and selfish all this time?!"

Wu Chenxi pressed his lips together and didn't say anything.

"You think they kicked your dad out of the Gu family?!"

Wu Chenxi nodded his head eagerly, getting more angry as he talked about it. Why did they kick his dad out of the Gu family?! He was the oldest son!

Wu Yin put one hand over her chest and Wu Minger also looked up, a little scared that her mom would pass out from being too mad, "You think your dad was kicked out of the Gu family?! He wanted to leave himself!"
