She blinked a few times before glancing over at Gu Yechen, "Does he have a name yet? What are we going to name him?"

The baby boy giggled softly and began smiling as he looked up at his mommy.

"Aw. . ." He Xinyan gently tickled his face with a motherly smile. In the past, she never thought she liked kids and would be a good mother, but in front of her little baby, the love in her eyes couldn't help but spill out.

Seeing the lovely scene, Xu Mengya quietly left to retrieve the baby girl as well.

"You can give him a name," Gu Yechen proposed, giving the task to her.

"I can?" He Xinyan thought for several seconds before saying softly, "Gu. . . Gu Anping*. . . How about that?"

"Gu Anping," Gu Yechen repeated, "That is a good name."

Gu Anping giggled softly in He Xinyan's embrace, making her smile, "Yes, see! Even little Pingping likes it! I want him to be safe and happy for his entire life!"

She bent down and kissed him on his small and soft cheek, and he giggled louder.

Then, Xu Mengya walked in holding the other baby, "Yanyan, don't only play with your son. Look, this is your daughter!"

He Xinyan handed Gu Anping to Gu Yechen and took over the baby girl, a little less awkward this time after having experience.

The baby girl was awake and she was also sucking on her thumb without crying. She had large round eyes like He Xinyan, and a nose that resembled her mom.

Her mouth was both like He Xinyan and Gu Yechen, as it wasn't clear because she was sucking on her thumb.

"Aw. . ." He Xinyan's eyes softened as she looked at the little baby she went through so much pain and effort to deliver into this world, and she gently rocked her.

"Does she have a name yet?"

Xu Mengya walked over and said softly, "Hanyu and I thought about it, and we came up with a few."

"What is it?"

Xu Mengya reached into her bag and pulled out a small sheet of paper. She then cleared her throat and stood up straighter, almost like she was getting ready to recite a speech, "He Yitong, He Yulan, He Xinyu, He Yichun, He Feixin, He Yaxin, He -"

"Mom, that is a few?!" Gu Yechen raised one eyebrow and glared at Xu Mengya, who pursed her lips out unhappily.

"Yeah, there's more. He -"

"Okay, okay. How are we supposed to choose with this many?"

He Xinyan chuckled, "Mom, you can choose."

To be honest, she wasn't even paying attention to Xu Mengya's list as she was so focused on playing with the little baby. She had always known that her baby with Gu Yechen would be the cutest baby in the entire world!

After all, no matter whose genes the babies got, it would most likely be good. Yes, she was just that confident in Gu Yechen and herself!

As a few days old baby, He Xinyan could already tell that when she grew up, she would become a beautiful woman with boys chasing after her!

That would be very dangerous! It was a scary world out there. She would have to make sure to protect her baby girl. . . Well, Gu Yechen would probably be able to figure that out.

"Then, how about. . . He Yulan?" It took a long time for Xu Mengya to finally make a decision as she looked at her long list.

"He Yulan. . ." Gu Yechen repeated.

"I think it's good," He Xinyan smiled as she looked down at the baby, who had closed her eyes, "Lanlan. . ."

Gu Yechen nodded his head, "Then Yulan she is."

He Xinyan stayed in the hospital for another few weeks since she had a hard time during labor and the hospital did not want any possible accidents happening to her, because they would be blamed for anything.

Soon, He Xinyan got Xu Mengya to sneak in snacks and savory foods for her while Gu Yechen was at work, and of course. . . Smart Gu Yechen eventually figured it out, but he did not get mad at He Xinyan and instead told her to just tell him if she ever wanted to eat anything.

Almost three weeks later, He Xinyan was finally able to leave, fully recovered.

They returned home, the four of them, and walked up to the second floor of the mansion, where Gu Yechen had already prepared the babies' room.

There was one room for the two babies right now since they were still young, and it was designed in a very childish manner.

There were cute drawings on the pink and blue walls, and the room was filled with toys of every kind.

"Did you receive this treatment when you were a baby too?" He Xinyan asked.

"No, I just had books."

". . ." Maybe they should just give the kids books as well. He Xinyan was beginning to doubt if the children would be like Gu Yechen when they grew up if they had this lifestyle.

The night when they returned home, He Xinyan and Gu Yechen finally went to sleep in their own room together after a long time.

Gu Yechen went to take a shower and He Xinyan dried her hair and got ready to bed. She entered the closet to change into her pajamas, and as she did, the sight scared her.

She furrowed her eyebrows together as she stared at her reflection in the mirror.

The wrinkles on her stomach, the sagging skin, the fat that she had accumulated, the uneven skin tone. . . He Xinyan gulped as she felt her heart drop slightly.

Slowly, she turned around once, staring at herself in the mirror with her lips tightly pressed together.

In the past and even during pregnancy, she had never worried about her looks or body ever. She had a very fast metabolism, and was always able to eat a lot without gaining a lot of weight or fat.

Her skin was also very even and pale, and she had always been very proud of her skin and body.

When she saw herself in the mirror after pregnancy, He Xinyan couldn't help but feel scared as her greatest confidence in the past disappeared.

She placed one hand onto the side of her waist and ran her fingers down that area of her skin slowly.

Unable to continue looking at it, she quickly put on her pajamas and ran out of the closet and onto the bed.

When Gu Yechen walked out of the shower, he saw He Xinyan laying on the bed with her blanket over her head. He thought she was asleep already, so he quietly closed the lights and got onto the bed.

It has been quite a long time since the two of them were able to comfortably sleep on the same bed, and Gu Yechen immediately pulled He Xinyan into his embrace. He then gently kissed her on the forehead and then closed his eyes to sleep.

Meanwhile, He Xinyan wasn't actually asleep yet.

She tried to keep her breathing soft and her body still as she closed her eyes and took in the familiar smell of Gu Yechen's body next to her.

In a few minutes, Gu Yechen fell asleep and she slowly opened her eyes in the darkness.

She tilted her head up slightly and looked at Gu Yechen, who was fast asleep. Very slowly and softly, she lifted one hand up and placed it onto his chest.

The entire nation wanted to marry this man. . . He was tall, handsome, rich, successful, came from a good family, cool, and everything good. He was perfect.

But was she still good enough for him? Was she ever good enough for him?

He Xinyan closed her eyes and looked down, burying her head deep into Gu Yechen's chest. She had been really emotional when she was pregnant, and she thought it would quickly go away after giving birth.

However, now it seems like it just got worse!

He Xinyan shook her head softly and tried to push all thoughts aside and go to sleep. However, they kept coming back to haunt her and it took over an hour before she finally fell asleep.

A few minutes after she fell asleep, the silence of the night was broken.

"Wahh!!! Wah!"

Gu Yechen woke up quickly after He Xinyan did, since she wasn't fast asleep anyway. She frustratingly rubbed her eyes and sat up on the bed, looking around.

Then, the room lit up as Gu Yechen opened the lamp on the table.

"You continue to sleep. I'll go check on the babies." Gu Yechen turned around and kissed He Xinyan on the forehead before leaving the room to go check on the crying babies.

He left the room and He Xinyan laid back down on the bed, closing her eyes. A few minutes later, the crying finally stopped and her eyebrows which were tightly knit together loosened.

For the next few minutes, Gu Yechen did not return to the room.

He Xinyan sat up on the bed again, a little worried and anxious about why Gu Yechen still hasn't returned yet, even though she did not know why she was feeling this way.

Just as she was about to get up and look, the door opened and Gu Yechen walked in.

I am not a mom and have never even been in a romantic relationship all my life :) but I think that postpartum depression or depression after giving birth is quite common amongst women. And, our amazing FL Yanyan is going through it too. I want to take this opportunity to just let all women know that it doesn't matter how you look or feel after pregnancy, but you are still just as beautiful as you were before! Let's see how our Chenchen will deal with his wife now ^o^
