He laid down next to her and hugged her around the waist, "Let's go on a honeymoon."

He Xinyan opened her eyes immediately as she looked up at Gu Yechen excitedly, "Honeymoon? When? Where?"

Gu Yechen smiled as he gently brushed his fingers through He Xinyan's hair, "We can go right away if you want. We can go wherever you want."

He Xinyan's eyes sparkled excitedly but then they dimmed slightly, "But. . . But don't you have work to do?"

"Don't worry about it. I can take a break. The company can survive without me."

Can it though? I am certain that Gu Yechen's workers will all suffer if their boss were to leave them alone again. And when Chen Xiao complained for a quick second, Gu Yechen responded:

"Why do I pay you such a high salary a month if you can't do anything? If you can't do it, then you can pack your things and go home now."

Chen Xiao immediately shut his mouth and left the room, immediately going back to work. He even made a note to warn all the other workers to not complain.

Boss Gu was nice to him by giving him a warning. . . If it were some other worker, they would have probably been fired straight away!

He Xinyan grinned, "Then I want to go! Where should we go?"

"Wherever you want."

He Xinyan closed her eyes again as she began thinking about all the places she wanted to go to.

"Let's go to Country H! I have always wanted to go there." He Xinyan turned around and reached for the phone, not caring about the soreness she still felt in her body anymore.

She opened up her photos and showed the images she had saved, "Look! This is Country H! And, it is springtime right now so all the cherry blossoms and flowers should be in full bloom right now! And, it isn't too hot or too cold there and it is super beautiful."

He Xinyan scrolled through the pictures excitedly, "We can go to the hot springs right here! And look at these flowers! And this restaurant!"

Gu Yechen nodded his head, "Let's go there. Where else do you want to go?"

He Xinyan thought for a few seconds before shaking her head, "Let's just go there for now. I don't want to pull you away for too long, or else your workers will be angry at their boss's wife for stealing their boss away!"

Gu Yechen raised one eyebrow, "They don't dare feel that way."

He Xinyan chuckled, "We still have a whole life ahead of us. We can go to other places together in the future. No need to be in a rush!"

Gu Yechen looked down at her gently with a pleased smile on his face, "Okay."

--- Four days later

After Gu Yechen had settled everything with the Gu Corporation, he and his wife were on the way to their honeymoon!

Early in the morning, the two of them woke up and left the house with the luggage they had prepared the day before already.

On the car ride to the airport, He Xinyan bounced up and down excitedly as she continued showing images of Country H to Gu Yechen and explaining all the plans of the places they would visit and the restaurants they would go eat at.

Gu Yechen listened patiently with a smile on his face. The thing that made him the most happy in this world was He Xinyan being happy.

The car ride to the airport took about an hour, and the car came to a stop in front of the VIP entrance.

Gu Yechen had originally offered for them to ride a private plane over to the country, but He Xinyan rejected the offer and said they could just ride a normal airplane.

The driver helped them take their luggage out of the car, and they each grabbed onto their own luggage, emptying the other hand to hold onto each other as they walked into the airport together.

The security check and other procedures took a very short amount of time, and after half an hour, they were sitting inside the VIP waiting room.

There was still an hour or so until the flight was supposed to take off, and He Xinyan began eating food as she watched videos of other people traveling to Country H.

She had so many places she wanted to visit and so many restaurants she wanted to eat in that she didn't know if they would have time to go to all of them.

Maybe they would have to eat 5 meals a day. . .

After a long time, they boarded the plane first as they were in First Class, and they sat down in their seats right next to each other.

"Gu Yechen, I'm so excited!" To be honest, He Xinyan didn't expect a honeymoon. She knew that Gu Yechen had already lost a lot of time by preparing for the wedding, and he was probably very behind in work. So, she was very surprised when he brought up the honeymoon idea.

"Me too, me too," Gu Yechen replied, gently rubbing her on the head.

The plane ride was going to be about 7 hours, and they would be eating lunch on the plane. In the past, Gu Yechen had gone on several long plane rides along to other countries for work, and he would always complete work on the plane or sleep.

However, this time, he did none of the two.

With a partner with him this time, he had someone to talk to and play with as they flew across the world for 7 hours.

As the plane left the airport and the ground, Gu Yechen and He Xinyan also got ready for their romantic honeymoon, their first trip together as a married couple.

Both of them had no clue what was in store for them. . .

--- 8 hours later

"On behalf of the H Airline, we would like to welcome you to Country H. We will be arriving at the gate momentarily. Please remain in your seats with your seat belt securely fastened until the aircraft has come to a complete stop at the terminal gate. Once again, thank you for flying with the H Airline".

He Xinyan woke up after a short nap on the airplane to hear this announcement, and she rubbed her eyes as she looked out the window.

Since they were on the runway of an airport, she couldn't see the beautiful spring scenery that pictures showed of Country H, but she was just as excited because knew it was going to come.

They were the first group of people to get off the airplane, and after a quick security check and baggage claim, they were out of the airport hand in hand.

He Xinyan's wedding ring glistened under the bright sunlight as she walked out of the airport holding Gu Yechen's hand, into the fresh air.

"It's late. Let's go to the hotel first," Gu Yechen suggested and He Xinyan nodded her head.

She enjoyed this feeling. It wasn't a very luxurious trip, and they were just like a normal couple going on vacation together. . . She was looking forward to another vacation in the future when they would have a little one with them.

They waited for the car Gu Yechen had booked to come and pick them up to the hotel, and as they did, several people recognized them.

"Isn't that Gu Yechen and his wife? The ones on the news?"

"I think so! The wedding, right? That one?"

"Yah. . ."

He Xinyan obviously caught onto the whispers, and she grinned as she moved a little closer to Gu Yechen.

Yes, that's right! This is her husband!

A few minutes later, the car arrived and picked them up, and they were on their way to the hotel.

About half an hour later, they arrived.

The hotel Gu Yechen had booked was the one He Xinyan had shown him several times. It was rated as the most beautiful place to stay in Country H, and was in the top 10 best hotels in the world.

The design of the hotel was very oriental, as it was made of wood.

It wasn't located in the bustling city, but instead, it was in a natural location. There were only 20 rooms available, and it was more difficult to book than expensive.

Right behind the rooms, there was a beautiful lake that was filled with colored flower trees around it since it was spring time right now.

Behind the lake, there was a large forest patch. Living there was an incredibly healing experience, and it was one of He Xinyan's dreams.

Married to the richest man in Country Z. . . having the perfect, grand wedding. . . Going on her dream honeymoon. . .

It seemed like many of her dreams have been accomplished this year already!

They checked into their hotel room and made their way around the front lobby building to the hotel building in the back.

The air quality was extremely good up here, and He Xinyan took a deep breath as they walked hand in hand up the stairs to their room.

The room they had ordered was the biggest size, and it was supposed to be for a family of 4. However, of course Gu Yechen had to get the most luxurious for his wife!

He Xinyan immediately dropped her luggage and Gu Yechen as she ran over to the balcony, opening the sliding door to look at the gorgeous lake and view.

She gasped once she saw it. . .

It was beautiful.
