Gu Yechen grinned slightly, "This island doesn't have a name yet, because it is your island now. I bought it."

". . . What?!" He Xinyan almost slid off of Gu Yechen's lap when she heard this. She had asked him to just find an island and rent a small piece of land for them to hold the wedding, not buy a whole island!

How much would this have cost?! It seems like Auntie Xu was right. . . Their wedding was indeed going to be extremely extravagant.

Gu Yechen licked his lips as his eyes fell down slightly, looking at where He Xinyan was sitting and his upper thighs.

Of course he had realized. . . He was just staying silent. He was very patient. He had waited for this long already, a few more days won't matter.

He Xinyan quickly looked through the island pictures again, "You bought this island?! This huge island?! For our wedding?! How much did it cost?!"

Gu Yechen smiled, "Not much. I'm glad you liked it." He kissed her on the cheek and couldn't help but notice that there didn't seem to be as much fat on it as before.

He frowned, "Once our wedding is over, you are going back to your original eating habits, understand?"

He Xinyan nodded her head immediately, "Of course! I'm so sick of this diet! I already saved a ton of restaurants I want to go eat after the wedding. I am going to gain all of my weight back and more!"

He Xinyan's eyes lit up at the topic of food, and she rubbed her flat stomach.

Gu Yechen chuckled, "Okay."

"You can't dislike me if I get fat! It will be too late anyway since we will be married." He Xinyan smiled sinisterly, "If I get fat and you want to divorce me, I will go find Auntie Xu and have her chop your legs off!"

Gu Yechen didn't get mad at all from her threatening, but instead smiled happily, "You won't have to worry. You can get fat and ugly and I will still like you."

"Ch!" He Xinyan rolled her eyes, "I would be dumb to believe you. I swear, if I do actually get fat and ugly, you won't like me anymore. Liar!"

Gu Yechen pinched He Xinyan's nose gently, "You can try it? Let's see if I am right or you are right?"

He Xinyan pushed his hand away and lifted her hand up, pinching his nose, "I am definitely right! Don't lie to me and say that you didn't fall in love with my appearance when you first saw me."

Gu Yechen thought back to when he first saw her and indeed. . . He had to admit that the first thing that attracted him was indeed her outer appearance. However, now it has changed. Now, he liked his outer appearance, but also who she was inside and just. . . He Xinyan in general.

He Xinyan smiled proudly, seeing that he had no response, "I know, I know. I am very pretty!"

She flipped her hair, causing Gu Yechen to remember when they first met. To convince him that he had made the right decision to pick her as his girlfriend, she had given three reasons:

"I am very pretty."

"I am truly very pretty."

"I am truly extremely pretty!"

Although the times have changed and her looks have also changed slightly, the heart inside never changes. Gu Yechen sweetly patted her on the head before lifting her off of the chair, carrying her by her two legs.

"I'm done with work. Let's go practice the dance!"

He Xinyan nodded her head excitedly, "Wait, so about the island. . . When are we going to go visit it? If it is ours, is it completely private then? Will we be the only people on there during the wedding?"

Gu Yechen bent down to pick up He Xinyan's handbag from the couch, "We can go visit it whenever you want. It is about 40 miles from the beach, and the ferry ride will take a little over an hour. It is completely private. The island is under your name, so you can come up with a name for it."

He Xinyan thought for a few seconds, "Let's call it Yanchen Island!"

Gu Yechen quickly figured out the meaning behind the name, and he nodded his head with a smile, "Okay!"

The two of them left the company way before all the other employees did, and He Xinyan couldn't help but think that the big boss Gu Yechen seemed to have an even easier job than his employees did!

However, she didn't complain. She liked spending more time with him preparing the wedding together.

They drove to the dance studio where they were going to practice, and entered the building hand in hand. Once they entered, they were met with the manager of the studio and the dance teacher they were learning under, the best teacher in the studio and in the country.

The teacher was a woman around her 40s, but even so, she was extremely elegant and poised and had an amazing body.

He Xinyan was always envious when she saw the teacher, and she dreamed and hoped that she would still look as elegant and slim as the teacher in her later years.

They followed the manager and the teacher into the practice room and sat down together to change to more comfortable dancing shoes.

After putting on his shoes, Gu Yechen then leaned forward to help He Xinyan put on her shoes.

As he did so, He Xinyan suddenly remembered something.

"Gu Yechen, you never told me!" She exclaimed.

"What?"

"That day, you played the piano. When did you learn how to play the piano?!" She had asked him once the night after they returned from the beach, but he told her he would tell her the next morning because it was very late already.

However, for the past month, He Xinyan was so busy and excited with preparing for the wedding she had completely forgotten about this subject!

Gu Yechen chuckled softly, "You still remember?"

"Yes! Tell me now!"

The teacher had gone to get the CD for the music so they still had some time.

Gu Yechen looked up at He Xinyan with a soft smile, "I learned when I was a little kid for a while, however, I hadn't played it for a long time. I started practicing again a few months ago."

He Xinyan's mouth fell open in surprise, "I never knew you learned piano when you were a kid! Wait, so you have been preparing for the proposal for several months already?"

Gu Yechen nodded his head and the teacher walked back in. The two of them stood up and the lesson began.

They were doing the classic waltz during their wedding after the ceremony and they had planned a few lessons before the wedding.

Since both of them came from upper class families, they both knew how to do the simple waltz. However, there were still some special moves He Xinyan wanted to add during the dance to make it look more beautiful, so they had to practice and learn a few things.

They also had to learn the routine to go with the song that was going to be played.

"Let's see what you remember from the next class." The teacher began the music and the practice began.

Gu Yechen placed his hand on He Xinyan's waist and her on his shoulder, and the dance began. Without any heels on, He Xinyan had a perfect view of Gu Yechen's chest as they danced.

They danced to the beat of the music and once they finished, they began learning the next part of the dance. The teacher was indeed very experienced and great at dancing herself, and the two of them learned quickly.

In the car, He Xinyan seemed to be deep in thought about something.

"What do you want to eat for dinner?" Gu Yechen asked.

"I want to eat your cooking. I haven't eaten it in a long time!" They have both been very busy and Gu Yechen didn't cook very often in the past month. Since Gu Hanyu and Xu Mengya were at their house most of the time, Gu Hanyu cooked.

"Okay, wifey."

They drove for a while in silence before Gu Yechen finally asked, "What are you thinking about?"

He Xinyan pressed her lips together and turned around, facing Gu Yechen, who kept his eyes on the road.

"We are both very good at dancing," she exclaimed.

Gu Yechen chuckled, "We are both coordinated and quick at learning." He wouldn't say they were good, they were just decent.

He Xinyan nodded her head, "I am beautiful and smart, you are handsome and smart and rich and powerful and basically good at everything, like cooking, playing the piano, business stuff, and even dancing!"

Gu Yechen smiled proudly upon hearing He Xinyan compliment him like this. Every man would feel good if the woman they loved said good things about them.

"You are more than just beautiful and smart," he said, his voice deeper than earlier.
