The dresses were kept at Qin Lai's shop to make sure that they were well-protected and didn't get damaged, especially He Xinyan's wedding dress.

The three of them returned to Gu Yechen's mansion to continue the wedding plans. They still had a few more things to decide on, and the wedding was only a little over three weeks away.

Most importantly, they had to decide on a wedding location.

Church, beach, field, there were way too many options. They had looked through so many but weren't completely satisfied with any of them.

At night, He Xinyan and Gu Yechen laid down on the bed in each other's embrace, getting ready to go to sleep. In the darkness, He Xinyan still couldn't stop thinking about the dress she had worn today in Qin Lai's shop.

Gu Yechen hadn't gone with her because he had a very important meeting he had postponed for over a week already to plan for the wedding.

He had originally insisted on going and postponing the meeting more, but He Xinyan firmly said no.

"You have to make money for our wedding, my clothes, my bags, my food, our future baby's milk, his toys, his clothes, his education fee, and his future wedding! You can't just slack from work like this! Go work!" He Xinyan had firmly scolded him, and Gu Yechen finally decided to go to work because of her very. . . accurate reasoning.

Before going to sleep, He Xinyan had told Gu Yechen all about the dress and just how beautiful it was. In the end, Gu Yechen decided to give Qin Lai a pay raise, and He Xinyan had no objections.

He Xinyan played around with the button on Gu Yechen's silk pajamas and placed her arm around his waist, "Gu Yechen, where do you want our wedding location to be?"

"Wherever you want it to be," he responded.

He Xinyan was silent for a few seconds before she said softly, "I have an idea. . . But I don't know if it is possible."

"If you want to, anything is possible." Gu Yechen responded, encouraging He Xinyan to tell him her thoughts.

"How about an island? We can have our wedding on an island!"

He Xinyan said, looking up hopefully. However, Gu Yechen blinked a few times and didn't respond for several seconds. She thought that he didn't want to or thought it was too extravagant, and she pressed her lips together before looking down, "Never mind. Forget about that."

Seeing her disappointment, Gu Yechen finally recovered from his stupor, "No, no! Yes, we can do it there!"

He Xinyan thought he was only saying it because he wanted to make her happy, and she shook her head with a small smile.

"It's okay, forget about that. Where do you want the wedding to be at?" She didn't want to be selfish enough to have their wedding in a place only she liked and he didn't like. It was their wedding after all, the two of them!

Gu Yechen knew she had misunderstood his moment of silence, and he quickly grabbed onto her hand, "No, I want it to be on an island. That is a great idea. I didn't respond immediately because I had expected you to maybe say something like going to space or under the sea. So, I was really surprised when you merely said an island."

He Xinyan raised one eyebrow in surprise. Outer space, under the sea?! That was possible?! Okay, He Xinyan apologizes for forgetting about the type of person Gu Yechen was.

Even if she had said outer space or under the sea, he would probably agree. After all, he had the power and money to do that.

However, she still liked the idea of an island. Near the ocean, on their own private land. . . A wedding there would be really romantic.

"Oh. . . so you are fine with it?"

"I love your idea," Gu Yechen responded, kissing her on the forehead.

He Xinyan's happy smile returned, "Okay! I will tell Auntie Xu about it tomorrow!"

The next morning, Xu Mengya arrived at the house to see a very excited He Xinyan waiting for her in the doorway.

"Auntie Xu!" He Xinyan immediately ran over excitedly, grabbing onto both of Xu Mengya's hands and pulling her into the room.

"I have decided on where the wedding will be held!"

Xu Mengya's eyes widened, "Where?! Where?!" He Xinyan has been indecisive about the location for the past few weeks already, and they were all getting a little impatient and anxious. So, she was extremely excited to finally hear that He Xinyan has decided.

He Xinyan smiled sweetly, "On an island! I talked with Yechen already, and he said he will look for an island."

Xu Mengya's eyes sparkled with excitement, "An island?!" She clapped her hands together, "That is a great idea! How come you never told me about it?"

He Xinyan scratched her head, "I thought it would be a little too extravagant and maybe expensive. . . So, I didn't talk to you about it."

Xu Mengya's mouth fell open and she rolled her eyes, "Xinyan, you must be spending too much time with my stupid son that you are becoming like him now! Extravagant?! Expensive?! You can go to outer space to hold the wedding and it wouldn't be too extravagant!"

He Xinyan chuckled slightly as she listened to Xu Mengya speak dramatically.

"I know that my son isn't exactly the perfect man, but he is still Gu Yechen." Xu Mengya's eyes sparkled as she spoke about her son, "He is the richest and most powerful man in the country! So, have the most extravagant wedding you want! Show everyone that you are the wife of the richest man!"

He Xinyan laughed happily hearing Xu Mengya speak, "Okay, Auntie Xu."

Xu Mengya cleared her throat and said a little sourly, "Why are you still calling me Auntie Xu?"

He Xinyan raised one eyebrow before sweetly saying, "Okay, mother-in-law!"

--- Three days later

He Xinyan followed Gu Yechen to work together because they were going to go practice the dance they were going to do together during the wedding right after he got off of work.

She sat on the couch scrolling through wedding pictures with a happy smile on her face.

"Wifey." Gu Yechen suddenly called her, using his very new nickname for He Xinyan.

She looked up and closed her phone, walking over to his desk, "What?"

Gu Yechen pushed his chair back slightly and wrapped his arm around He Xinyan's waist, pulling her down onto his lap. He then pushed his chair back in so He Xinyan was sitting on his lap, facing the computer.

He Xinyan looked over at the screen and blinked a few times. She had expected to see a document filled with words or something related to work, but that was not what she saw.

Instead, there were several pictures of an island on his screen, and his cursor was on the first one. Gu Yechen clicked in as he wrapped his left arm around her waist, pulling her closer to him.

However, that was a very dangerous move. As He Xinyan was pulled closer to Gu Yechen's body, she suddenly felt her bottom and lower back touch something around the area of his pelvis.

Something dangerous, something where it shouldn't be, something that felt unusually. . . large.

He Xinyan looked back slightly anxiously but saw that Gu Yechen didn't seem to have noticed. His eyes were still on the computer screen as he looked at the first image.

She took a deep breath and tried to remain calm. As long as he didn't know, everything was okay. But how was that possible? He couldn't feel it?

Her body tensed up as she tried to stay as still as a statue, looking forward at the bright computer screen. The item wasn't even awake yet, but why did it feel so large against her skin.

He Xinyan began to feel a little scared for herself. . . They were about to get married, which meant they were also about to. . . Gu Yechen had told her she needed to pay for all the nights he "suffered". . .

She had to pay her debt sooner or later.

He Xinyan gulped as she tried to move slightly, but Gu Yechen's arm was tightly wrapped around her waist. She didn't want to make the situation known to Gu Yechen, so she decided to just try and stay as still as possible.

She looked up at the computer screen and heard Gu Yechen say, "How do you like this island?"

He Xinyan focused on the images he was showing her, and she slowly got more and more excited. The pictures were obviously taken during summertime, because the sun was shining very brightly.

"Yes, yes! This looks gorgeous!"

The next picture showed a building made of glass on all four walls and the ceiling. Gu Yechen paused on this picture and looked at He Xinyan from behind, "We can hold the wedding ceremony here."

He Xinyan nodded her head excitedly, "Look at those flowers outside the building! It will be so beautiful!"

She took the mouse from Gu Yechen and began looking through the images herself. She got more and more excited until she reached the final image, which was a picture taken from the sky, showing the entire island.

She excitedly turned around, completely forgetting about the fact that her body position was in a very awkward situation.

"Darling, what island is this? Can we hold our wedding here?"

Gu Yechen grinned slightly, "This island doesn't have a name yet, because it is your island now. I bought it."

". . . What?!"
