"I promise this is probably the best design I have ever made in my life. Ah, I wouldn't even want to give it away if it weren't for the fact that it was specially designed for my boss's wife."

Qin Lai put one hand over his chest like he was suffering severe pain from giving the dress away. This only made all of them more curious about how the dress looked like.

"Show me! Show me!" He Xinyan urged as she walked over to the display. However, before she could get close, Qin Lai immediately put both hands up, keeping her from getting near.

"This is a holy place, you shall not come near!" He said with a very dramatic voice, causing He Xinyan to frown.

"Oh, really?! Well, guess what. I will be wearing this dress later, so I will be getting as close to it as possible!"

Qin Lai's face scrunched up and he looked like he was about to cry as he sighed, "Ah, I am just a poor slave for Boss Gu. What shall I do?"

He Xinyan suppressed a laugh, "Okay, stop with your dramatic act. Show us."

Qin Lai grabbed onto the red cover and took a deep breath before closing his eyes helplessly, looking like he was about to face his death.

Then, he pulled the red cover off, revealing the dress inside the glass dome.

At once, gasps filled the room as everyone's eyes glued onto the beautiful piece of cloth.

He Xinyan couldn't help but step forward to the dress, placing one hand onto the glass longingly. This was exactly the dress of her dreams. . .

The wedding dress was in the typical ball gown style, and the chain of the dress was at least six feet in length.

It was an off-shoulder design, and the two extremely short sleeves seemed to be made of real white flowers when looking from far away, forming a wreath that was the sleeve. However, when looking closely, it was clear that the "flowers" were actually also made of cloth and embroidered into what seemed like real flowers.

The entire upper bodice of the dress was also filled with flower patterns and designs. It looked so real and it almost seemed like they were moving in the wind, but they weren't.

With all the flowers, it didn't make the dress look tacky at all, unlike most wedding gowns with a ton of flowers. Instead, it created an elegant and natural feeling unable to be found in any other dress.

The bodice was really short to make the wearer's legs look longer, and the dress puffed out around the waist, the flower pattern fading out into a solid white fabric.

The solid white color stayed all the way until around her knees, and the flowers reappeared all the way to the ground, reaching her toes. Next to the dress, there was also a pair of shoes.

They were high heels with heels about two and a half inches tall. Unlike most heels, this pair was made of glass. However, several diamonds were also glued on so it wasn't completely transparent.

"I want to try this on," He Xinyan said immediately, her mind still in a slight daze.

She walked into the changing room with Qin Lai following behind her, dragging the display along with him.

"Be careful!" This time, it was He Xinyan that spoke and Qin Lai blinked a few times in surprise. Um. . . Wasn't that supposed to be his line?!

A few minutes later, He Xinyan walked out in the wedding dress. For the entire past month, she had been on a diet. Although she was extremely frustrated and sad for the entire past month, she wasn't anymore.

Exercising and saying no to food did not go to waste! The dress hugged her upper body perfectly and it didn't feel tight or loose. Her arms and waist were definitely skinnier than before after all the painful exercise, but she didn't feel any pain anymore.

Due to the exercises, she looked like an angel in the white dress with her dainty arms and body.

If it was her body before, she would still look gorgeous since she was always skinny, but it definitely wouldn't have the angelic feeling she had now.

She slowly stepped back out to the waiting room to find Xu Mengya and Wu Minger talking. However, when she stepped out, all of the talking stopped as they both stood up.

The beautiful dress had just become beautiful-er. Yes, that isn't a word but it is now.

Since a real person was wearing it now, there was movement and the flowers on the bodice seemed to dance with each small action.

What was even more amazing, the flowers on the bottom of the dress experienced more movement when she walked, and it looked like she was walking on a beautiful floor of white flowers.

Coincidentally, the bouquet of flowers they had ordered was also white, with a few light blue flowers in the middle to accentuate the blue color scheme.

With the bouquet, the dress would definitely look even more beautiful.

"You look. . . gorgeous," Wu Minger exclaimed as Xu Mengya nodded her head furiously.

He Xinyan smiled and turned around. As she did so, Qin Lai dimmed the lights again.

At once, the dress lit up.

It wasn't like the sparkle the bridesmaid dresses had, but it was actually lit up. Like completely lit up. It reminded He Xinyan of Cinderella when she transformed. The dress was like the star galaxy, shining brightly in the darkness.

You couldn't see the flowers clearly anymore, but that couldn't even compare to this design. It wasn't part of He Xinyan's dream dress, because. . . well, it was even better!

"The dress is hollow inside so it doesn't feel heavy, right?" Qin Lai spoke up, explaining the "science" behind the dress.

He Xinyan nodded, staring at herself through the mirror in awe.

"It lights up because of LED lights and 30 battery packs. It took me two weeks to think of how to make that work," Qin Lai said proudly.

He Xinyan turned around, looking towards Qin Lai with tears in her eyes.

"Thank you, Qin Lai. I love this."

Qin Lai looked away awkwardly because he didn't know what to do when girls cried, but he couldn't hide the happy smile on his face. After all, all of his designs were like his babies. He treasured each and every one of them.

"I'm glad you like it."
