After several games of cards, it was time for lunch already.

The time passed by quickly as they played cards, ate snacks, and talked amongst themselves. . . Well, more like He Xinyan chit-chatting with Xu Mengya endlessly about random things.

After their final game, the four of them left the room together and walked to the dining area for lunch. Like breakfast, they were the last to arrive, and several people inside shot annoyed glances at them for being so late.

They didn't care as they sat down in their spots, and the food was brought on.

If breakfast was the sky, then lunch was heaven. . . Wait! Then what would dinner be?

The savory food looked extremely delicious, from the plating to the colors to the food and ingredients itself. . .

He Xinyan forced herself to wait until Wang Yani had picked up her chopsticks before she began eating.

While other people talked happily amongst themselves about the New Year and other topics, she ate. And ate. And ate more. And ate even more.

She had Gu Yechen ask the worker to bring up two more plates of food after finishing her first serving, and in the end, half of Gu Yechen's serving also went into her stomach.

No regrets coming here! Even if there were 10 Wang Yani's and 10 Gu Kexin's, she would still come. There was no reason to give up such amazing food!

After eating dinner, He Xinyan was so full she had a hard time walking back to her room. She walked extremely slowly, and Gu Yechen walked with her, their fingers interlaced together.

As they walked, Gu Kexin came up from behind them with Gu Zihao next to her. She smiled at Gu Yechen sweetly, who didn't even seem to notice her as his eyes were focused on He Xinyan.

Her smile disappeared immediately as her gaze moved over to He Xinyan. She rolled her eyes as she looked at her stomach and mouthed the words, 'So fat!'

He Xinyan obviously figured out what she was saying, and her mouth fell open. She scrunched her face up in disbelief.

Unlike Gu Kexin, she wasn't afraid to speak out loud.

"Who are you talking about?! I'm skinnier than you!" He Xinyan screamed after Gu Kexin, who had walked away with Gu Zihao following behind her.

She froze for a quick second after hearing He Xinyan's words before quickly walking away without looking back, disappearing into her room.

"Hmph! How dare she call me fat?! She is shorter and plumper than me!"

Gu Yechen chuckled slightly as he looked at He Xinyan's slightly red face from yelling angrily.

"Gu Yechen, do you think I'm fat?"

Gu Yechen grinned, "It doesn't matter whether you are fat or not. Either way, you are my woman and I will love you either way"

He Xinyan thought for a few seconds before nodding her head, "A plus answer! You passed the test!"

Gu Yechen chuckled as they continued to walk back into their room.

Inside their room, He Xinyan immediately sat down on the couch and began watching her phone.

She genuinely ate too much that it was beginning to feel uncomfortable.

After half an hour, He Xinyan stood up from the couch and slowly walked over to the window. Sitting down for too long was not helping in making her feel better.

As she walked towards the window, she suddenly saw small white flakes outside floating down from the sky.

"Huh?" He Xinyan's eyes widened as she immediately ran over to the window, pressing her hands against the cold glass.

"Gu Yechen! Gu Yechen!" He Xinyan jumped up excitedly, "It's snowing! Gu Yechen! Come! Yechen, come look! It's snowing!"

Gu Yechen was sitting at his work desk typing away on his laptop when he heard He Xinyan screaming.

He looked up to see her excited face, smiling innocently like a child. Her pure and joyful expression and the sparkle in her eyes caused Gu Yechen to blank out as he stared at her for several, long seconds.

"Gu Yechen! Come!"

He closed his laptop and stood up, slowly walking over to her.

They stood side by side in front of the window, and he gently placed his arm around her waist. The snow was slowly falling heavier and heavier, and a thin layer of white was beginning to build on the ground.

He Xinyan rested her head onto his shoulder, "I never saw snow back at home. . . This is my first time seeing actual snow falling from the sky in my life."

"Do you want to make a wish?" Gu Yechen asked as he looked down at her.

"Hm?"

"I heard that if you make a wish when you see the first snow, your wish will come true."

He Xinyan clicked her tongue as she looked away from the snow and towards Gu Yechen, trying to control herself from bursting into laughter.

"Mr. Gu, I didn't know that you had a little girl's heart, and it is very pink!"

Gu Yechen didn't get mad from being mocked at, and he raised one eyebrow, "Don't you women like doing things like this?"

"You women?" He Xinyan knit her eyebrows together, "You had women before that did things like this?"

"From beginning to end, I only have one woman - you."

"I haven't dated before, but Qin Lai, Zhao Qi, and them have dated several women before. Even if I have never eaten pork, I have seen how pigs look.*"

He Xinyan's smile disappeared, "Gu Yechen! Are you calling me a pig?!"

Gu Yechen opened his mouth slightly, "I. . ."

"Okay, you don't have to explain yourself anymore! My wish for the first snow of the year is. . . Gu Yechen can never eat pork!" She glared at Gu Yechen before angrily marching into the room where the bed was located.

Gu Yechen blinked a few times confusedly.

He walked over to the bedroom and pushed down on the doorknob, but the door didn't open. He knit his eyebrows together slightly and gently said, "Baby, open the door."

There was no answer.

"Baby, I'm wrong." His voice was so soft and gentle that if someone else were to hear him, they would definitely be extremely surprised.

He Xinyan was actually standing right next to the door. Hearing his soft and pitiful tone, she couldn't help but cover her mouth with both hands, trying to prevent herself from laughing out loud.

It was silent outside for a few seconds. Suddenly, there was the sound of footsteps getting softer and softer, until finally, there was the sound of a door closing.

He Xinyan knit her eyebrows together and opened the door to see an empty room. No one.

"Hmph! Gu Yechen!" She angrily sat down on the couch and pulled out her phone to call him. However, before she could, she noticed his phone on the desk.

She threw her phone onto the desk and angrily leaned back against the couch. She grabbed a pillow nearby and put it onto her lap, punching one fist into the soft cotton pillow.

After a long time, the door opened.

She looked up to see Gu Yechen walk in, holding a big plate in his hands. A white piece of cloth covered the plate so He Xinyan could not see what was on the plate.

She glanced at him before turning her head around and crossing her arms together.

Gu Yechen closed the door and walked over to her, putting the plate onto the table in front of her.

"Baby, take a look at this."

"No!" He Xinyan frowned.

"Are you sure?"

"Hmph!" He Xinyan pouted angrily as she refused to look at him. However, she was able to see from the corner of her eyes that his cheeks and fingers were slightly red and swollen, and there were small flakes of white on his hair.

Finally, she turned around to look at him, "What did you go do outside?"

Noticing that He Xinyan was willing to talk to him now, Gu Yechen's sad face immediately disappeared as his lips turned up into a small smile.

He bent down and took off the white cloth, revealing what was on the plate.
