He Xinyan looked up and when she saw what she shouldn't have seen, her coughing became even more violent.

"You - Ack!" He Xinyan put down her cup and spat out all the toothpaste bubbles.

Gu Yechen stepped out of the shower, still dripping wet, and walked over to He Xinyan.

"Are you okay? What happened?" He placed one hand onto her back as she continued to cough and rinse out the remaining toothpaste she had swallowed.

After the coughing finally stopped and the spicy test was gone, He Xinyan turned around to see Gu Yechen standing right in front of her, without any. . none. . . nothing. . . 0. . . no clothes on!

"Ah!" He Xinyan immediately put both hands onto her eyes to prevent herself from being tempted to look down. 

Meanwhile, Gu Yechen seemed to just notice that he had no clothes on, and he looked down at his body. 

"I'll go finish my shower first. Be careful." He gently patted He Xinyan's hair and reentered the shower.

He Xinyan finally opened her eyes when she heard the water sound again, and she quickly did her skincare routine and left the restroom. 

She jumped onto the bed and buried herself under the blankets. It was easy to sweat while bathing in hot springs, and He Xinyan was very tired after staying in the hot water for several hours.

She quickly fell asleep in a few minutes, and when Gu Yechen came out, she was deep asleep already.

He sat down next to her quietly and hugged her from behind, resting his arm onto her waist.

They both slept well tonight.

After eating breakfast the next day, the four of them returned home.

They arrived a little after lunchtime, and He Xinyan went to go eat lunch with Gu Yechen. As they did, she suddenly received a message.

'Su Zhiming: I need to talk to you. Let's meet up at the Dasi Hotel restaurant at 6 tonight.'

He Xinyan tilted her head slightly before a small grin crept up her face.

'Okay.'

She closed her phone and looked up, "Mr. Husband, I need your help."

At 5:45 P.M., He Xinyan left the mansion and drove to the Dasi Hotel.

She arrived at 6:05, and when she entered the restaurant, she immediately noticed Su Zhiming sitting alone in a corner.

She walked over and sat down across from him.

"Xinyan." Su Zhiming sat up a little straighter when he saw her.

"Be quick, I don't have much time." He Xinyan's eyes landed on the cup of coffee already placed in front of her, and she licked her lips to hide her smile.

She picked up the cup and pretended to take a small sip, but her lips were shut so no liquid entered her mouth.

While she did this, she focused on Su Zhiming's expression, and he noticed his eyes narrow when she "took a sip".

She put the cup down and folded her hands together, "What is it?"

"Xinyan, let's get back together."

He Xinyan rolled her eyes, "Su Zhiming, are you stupid? Why would I break up with Gu Yechen to get back together with a person like you."

Su Zhiming's self-confidence and pride were greatly hurt by her words, and he clenched his fists up. He took another look at the coffee cup and gulped.

"The coffee here is very good. Take another sip."

He Xinyan raised one eyebrow and obediently "took another sip."

This time, she drank a little of the coffee, but not a lot.

"The food here is also really good. What would you like to eat?"

"I have a dinner date already. If you have nothing else to say, I am going to leave." 

He Xinyan stood up and wobbled slightly, lifting one hand up to her head, "Why do I feel so tired?" She muttered to herself.

Su Zhiming smirked and also stood up, "That's right."

Hearing those two words, He Xinyan closed her eyes and fell down. Su Zhiming swiftly stretched his arms out and caught He Xinyan in his arms.

He then picked up her bag and carried her out of the room, attracting glances from several people, but no one stopped him.

As they went, He Xinyan's eyelashes twitched slightly and one corner of her lips curled up so slightly it was hard to notice.

Su Zhiming must have forgotten that her original occupation was an actress. . .

Su Zhiming brought He Xinyan up to the 15th floor, where he had booked a room. He didn't turn the lights on when they arrived, and he gently placed her onto the large bed.

He sat down next to her and gently ran a finger down the side of her cheek, "Xinyan. . . My Yanyan. . . You lied to me, but I still want you. . . So I have to do this. Don't blame me."

Su Zhiming stood up from the bed and removed his suit jacket. He then began unbuttoning the buttons on his shirt. 

When he moved on to his pants, the door suddenly burst open.

"Ah!" Su Zhiming jumped back from shock and quickly folded the two sides of his open shirt together, "Who is it?! What are you doing?! This is my room! You're in the wrong room!"

Su Zhiming was so focused on buttoning his shirt again, he didn't see who was at the door.

Several people barged into the room, making the original large room feel cramped all of a sudden. They formed two separate lines.

The line on the left were several tall and buff men wearing black suits and sunglasses.

The line on the right were all police officers wearing their police suits.

Noticing that something wasn't right, Su Zhiming finally turned around. He gasped when he saw all the people, and he was so scared he fell back down onto the couch behind him.

"You - Who are all of you?! What are you doing here? Did you enter the wrong room?! Who are you?!" Su Zhiming stood back up and looked at the two long lines of men.

Finally, one last person entered the room.

He was also wearing a black suit, but he didn't have sunglasses on, differentiating himself from the line of bodyguards. His strong and cold presence was also different, and the temperature in the room seemed to lower right away.

Su Zhiming blinked his eyes a few times, and it took a few seconds before he finally recognized the man that had just walked in, "Gu Yechen?!"

Gu Yechen ignored him and walked over to the bed, "Are you okay?"

He Xinyan sighed and lifted one arm up, rubbing her eye as she sat up on the bed, "Yeah, kind of. I need to take a shower and disinfect my entire body when we get home."

Su Zhiming seemed like he just saw a ghost as he fell back down onto the floor, "You - Xinyan. . . You. . . Aren't you supposed to be unconscious?!"

He Xinyan glanced at him and rolled her eyes, "I am supposed to be, but I'm not."

Su Zhiming's eyes widened, "How? I saw you. . . You drank the coffee!"

"Are you sure I did?" He Xinyan said with a smile.

It took several seconds for Su Zhiming to finally realize what had happened, "You! You lied to me again!"

He Xinyan laughed, "Yes, I did. But, you can't blame me. You're just too dumb."

Su Zhiming's lip was quivering from anger, "You -"

Gu Yechen knit his eyebrows together and pinched the skin area between his eyebrows, "Did you get that? Bring him away now."

The guards and police nodded, and all of them rushed over to "escort" Su Zhiming out the room.

A police officer pulled out handcuffs and locked Su Zhiming's hands behind his back.

"What are you doing?! You can't do this to me! Let go of me! This is illegal!" Su Zhiming screamed as he was forcefully lifted up off the ground.

The police scoffed, "You are getting arrested for attempted ra**, which is illegal."

Su Zhiming looked like he had been struck by lightning, "What?! Arrested?!"

"Yes." The police officer then pushed him out of the room, signaling that no further discussion was needed. Su Zhiming's screaming could be heard all the way until he disappeared into the elevator.

--- A few hours ago

"Mr. Husband, I need your help."

Gu Yechen looked up, "What is it?"

"Su Zhiming just asked me to go meet him at the Dasi Hotel tonight at 6. I'm sure that he is up to something, since last time he was pretty mad. . . Can you send some people to follow me?"

Gu Yechen's face darkened at the mention of Su Zhiming wanting to meet her, and he immediately nodded his head, "I'll go myself too."

He Xinyan blinked her eyes a few times, "Is he that important?"

Gu Yechen picked up his chopsticks again, "He isn't, but you are."

He Xinyan smiled sweetly and placed a large chunk of meat onto Gu Yechen's plate, "Thank you! Mwah! Eat, eat."

Gu Yechen smiled as he picked up the meat and said, "There is no need to thank Mr. Husband."

He Xinyan chuckled and continued to eat herself.
