It was nighttime, and He Xinyan went home.

About an hour ago, Li Yuyan had already gone home. After eating dinner with Li Huiran and Bai Jiawei, she returned to her own house after a long time because Su Zhiming had texted her and told her to go meet him in their house.

Li Yuyan walked into the dark house and up to the second floor. She noticed that the main bedroom's lights were open, and she stepped into the room.

Su Zhiming was sitting on the bed with a cigarette in his hand, and he threw it away when he saw Li Yuyan come in.

"Zhiming. . ." Li Yuyan called softly.

Su Zhiming rolled his eyes and stood up from the bed.

"What did you call me here for? Zhiming, I know what I did was wrong. Forgive me! I will never do it again! I promise!" Li Yuyan walked over and grabbed Su Zhiming's arm, but he aggressively pulled his arm away.

"Don't touch me, Li Yuyan!" Su Zhiming glared at her and took a step back.

"Your dumb CEO competition is over now. Let's divorce," Su Zhiming said gravely. He was very eager to divorce Li Yuyan. Once he was single, he could go get He Xinyan back!

Li Yuyan's eyes immediately widened, "No! Zhiming, no! We can't divorce!"

Su Zhiming scoffed, "Why?! You can't stop me!"

"My dad will take away the money he gave you to start your business!" Li Yuyan blurted out, her eyes red from anger and anxiety.

Su Zhiming was affected by her threat as he gulped and clenched his fists together. He still didn't know how he could get out of this.

He didn't understand law, and he was going to consult with a lawyer a week from now, but he didn't know if the lawyer could help him.

Su Zhiming took a deep breath and glared at Li Yuyan, "Whatever! I will divorce you sooner or later! I called you here today to give you a warning and let you be prepared!"

He aggressively pushed Li Yuyan to the side and stomped out of the room and the house.

Li Yuyan fell down onto the bed and began crying as she heard the sound of his car drive away. She did all of this for nothing.

Not only did she gain nothing from Liu Wei, but Su Zhiming also wanted to divorce her now! Su Zhiming's company was definitely growing, and it was pretty big by now, so of course Li Yuyan couldn't let go of him now.

Bai Jiawei would also not agree because he had put so much money into Su Zhiming's company. He couldn't let Su Zhiming just run away with it!

Li Yuyan slammed her fist onto the bed and slowly got up before leaving the house as well.

He Xinyan slept at Gu Yechen's house tonight.

The next morning, she ate the breakfast Gu Yechen made for her and went to work.

At lunch time, He Xinyan was going to go down to meet with Gu Yechen to eat lunch together. She clicked on the elevator button, and it took a while for the elevator to arrive.

There was a beep and the door opened.

He Xinyan was texting Gu Yechen on her phone, so she didn't look up. She did see a pair of men's shoes at the edge of the elevator, but she didn't care much.

She stepped into the elevator and clicked the first floor before sending her text.

"Xinyan?"

There were only two people in the elevator, so He Xinyan immediately knew it was the other man in the elevator before her. The familiar voice. . .

She turned around and knit her eyebrows together when she saw who it was, "Su Zhiming?! What are you doing here?"

Su Zhiming smiled when he saw her, and he took a step forward, "I came over to talk to your dad for a bit. Are you going to eat lunch? Do you want to eat together?"

He Xinyan scrunched her face together and looked back at the elevator door, "No thank you, I'm eating with someone else."

Su Zhiming frowned with disappointment, "Well. . . Maybe next time?"

He Xinyan rolled her eyes and didn't reply.

Su Zhiming took another step forward, causing He Xinyan to move to the corner of the elevator. She looked up and saw that there were 6 more floors to go.

"Xinyan, I know I made a mistake. I really regret my decisions! I have definitely changed! Xinyan, give me another chance!" Su Zhiming said, wanting to grab onto He Xinyan's arm, but she flung it away.

He Xinyan turned around and looked at Su Zhiming with a smile, "Mr. Su, you are married."

Su Zhiming clenched his fists together from anger because of this subject, "I know! I will definitely divorce her! Can we get back together if I divorce her?"

There was a beep signifying that the elevator had reached the first floor.

"Then divorce her first." He Xinyan smiled sweetly at him and turned around, walking out of the elevator.

Once she had left, her smile disappeared and it was replaced with an annoyed and angry expression. How can he be so shameless?! And it wasn't the likable shameless like little Chenchen, it was the gross and annoying shameless!

He Xinyan took a deep breath. She had to give him hope so he will actually work hard to divorce Li Yuyan. Once they divorced, Bai Jiawei would definitely be furious and annoyed at Li Yuyan.

Like she had guessed, Su Zhiming was very pleased with her answer. He stupidly believed that if he actually divorced Li Yuyan, He Xinyan would agree to be together with him again.

He smiled and also stepped out of the elevator.

He Xinyan entered Gu Yechen's car and immediately pulled out an alcohol wipe to wipe her hands.

"Ughh, I need to take a shower when I get home later."

Gu Yechen raised one eyebrow, "Why?"

"Nothing. I just met some trash in the elevator earlier," He Xinyan said as she rolled the alcohol wipe up into a ball.

"Where do you want to go eat?" Gu Yechen smiled and helped her throw the alcohol wipe away.

"I want Italian food!" He Xinyan said excitedly as she licked her lips, "Pasta. . . meatballs. . . salad. . ."

Gu Yechen patted her head lightly with a gentle smile, "Okay!"

After work, He Xinyan and Gu Yechen ate dinner and went to bed. He Xinyan was staying at Gu Yechen's house again because it was a weekend tomorrow.

Gu Yechen was in the restroom getting ready for bed, and He Xinyan sat on the bed, scrolling through her phone. She entered the app that she used to track her period, and frowned slightly.

Her period was one week late already. . .

"One week?! My period has never been this late before. . ." He Xinyan said softly as she rubbed her stomach.

At this time, Gu Yechen walked out of the restroom and overheard what she was saying. He raised one eyebrow and sat down on the bed next to her.

He Xinyan quickly closed the app and put her phone away, but Gu Yechen knew what was going on already.

"Your period is late for one week?" He asked with a grin.

"You heard?!" He Xinyan widened her eyes and gasped.

Gu Yechen nodded his head as he lifted the blanket up and crawled in.

"Um. . . yah. . ." He Xinyan pressed her lips together and slid down under the blankets.

"Why?"

He Xinyan glanced at him, "I don't know."

"There is one possible reason for late periods. . ." Gu Yechen said as he raised one eyebrow.

"What is it?"

Gu Yechen looked at her and suddenly turned over so his body was on top of hers, "If you are pregnant. However. . . that can't be possible because we have never made babies yet."

He Xinyan's face immediately turned beet red as she tried to push him away, "Go away! So shameless!"

Gu Yechen's smile widened, "How about let's make babies now?"

"No!" He Xinyan lifted her feet up to kick his shin lightly, "Let me sleep in peace!"

Gu Yechen chuckled and used one finger to lift her chin up. He leaned down and pressed his lips onto hers. He used her moment of surprise to push his tongue into her mouth.

After a very long kiss, He Xinyan was out of breath already as she pushed Gu Yechen off of her.

"Hmph! I'm going to sleep!" She faced her back towards him and closed her eyes.

Gu Yechen licked his lips satisfactorily and hugged her from behind before also going to sleep.

The next morning

The sun wasn't even up yet, but He Xinyan had woken up. She rubbed her eyes annoyingly, because she had wanted to sleep in since it was a Saturday.

She moved around slightly and sighed. Suddenly, her eyes widened.

What was this familiar feeling? He Xinyan gulped as she recognized this feeling she had every single month.

She slowly and carefully lifted the blanket up and got out of bed. As quietly as possible, she tiptoed to the restroom and closed the door before opening the lights.

He Xinyan quickly walked over to the toilet and pulled her pajama pants down.

She gasped when she saw the bright patch of red on her underwear.

Her period was here!

It had leaked onto her pants as well, and it was quite a large amount for the first day.

He Xinyan took off her pants and pulled her underwear back up so she could go out and get clean underwear to change into.

As she opened the restroom door, her mouth fell open. What if it leaked onto the bed?!

He Xinyan quickly and quietly got a clean pair of underwear and changed into it before going back to go check on the bed sheets.

She kneeled down next to the bed and pushed the blanket aside.

Right in the middle. . . It couldn't be more clear. . .
