He Xinyan smiled.

Upon hearing this, Ma Yuhao's face paled slightly. He had also read what was on the file inside the file folder, and he knew that He Xinyan was indeed telling the truth. The DNA report inside was enough to prove that Li Yuyan was his daughter.

"What do you want?! I know that you have something against my daughter and Li Huiran, but why?!" Ma Yuhao crumpled the paper up inside his hand and glared at He Xinyan, almost like he wanted to kill her.

He Xinyan chuckled, "I have something against Li Yuyan and Li Huiran? Mr. Ma, I think you got something wrong. It's not me. It's your lovely daughter and Li Huiran that has something against me. In case you didn't know, they tried to kill me just a while ago."

Ma Yuhao knit his eyebrows together, "I don't believe you."

"It doesn't matter whether you believe me or not, but it is the truth. I am here to make a deal with you."

"What deal?"

He Xinyan reached into her bag and pulled out another folder, "In here, I have another copy of the DNA report. This is also the last one I have. With this, I can ruin Li Huiran and Li Yuyan's life. If Bai Jiawei knows about this, they are screwed. You know that right?"

Of course Ma Yuhao knew that. That is why he kept this secret all along. He didn't enjoy not being able to meet his daughter either! And he felt very angry that his daughter didn't even know that he was actually her biological father!

However, Li Huiran had made it clear to him that if he actually loved Li Yuyan, he will have to stay hidden, because only Bai Jiawei can give Li Yuyan the life she wants and deserves!

Although Ma Yuhao was very angry about this, he still agreed since Li Huiran also promised to give him a large amount of money each month.

Li Huiran had also helped him get this job in this high-end restaurant.

"I know. However, how can I trust that the copy in your hand is really the last copy? What if you have another one?"

He Xinyan raised one eyebrow amusedly and played around with the folder in her hand, "Well, you don't really have a choice, do you? You either trust me and agree to the deal, or you don't, and your daughter's life is over."

Ma Yuhao realized that he was stuck, and he clenched his fists together in fury, "What is the deal?!"

He Xinyan took a bite of the food and slowly said, "Be patient. I am not done eating yet."

So, Ma Yuhao watched her eat for about 15 minutes before she finally put down her chopsticks and continued to talk.

"I am a very curious person, and I really want to know about everything that happened! So, my deal is simple. You tell me about everything that happened between you and Li Huiran, and how Li Yuyan came to be, and I give you this DNA report." He Xinyan waved the DNA report around in her hand with an innocent smile.

Ma Yuhao narrowed his eyes and thought about it for a few seconds, debating whether it was a good deal or not.

"Trust me! It is a very. . . good. . . deal. . ." He Xinyan said, tilting her head slightly.

"Okay, what do you want to know?" Ma Yuhao finally answered gravely.

He Xinyan smiled happily, "Everything! From when you first met Li Huiran to how Li Yuyan came to be to. . . just everything!"

He Xinyan leaned forward and folded her arms together, listening attentively.

Ma Yuhao glared at her for a few seconds before he started talking.

"Well, I first met Li Huiran at a bar. I remember she was very angry and sad at that time because Bai Jiawei was still married to his former wife, and Huiran was mad that she had to stay hidden and could only meet up with Bai Jiawei occasionally."

He Xinyan's smile slowly disappeared. Mad? What right did Li Huiran have to be mad?! She was a mistress and obviously couldn't meet up with Bai Jiawei often! She shouldn't meet up with him at all!

"I was a worker at the bar, and I met her there for the first time. She was very pretty when she was young."

He Xinyan smirked. Pretty? She was prettier!

Li Huiran chose to cling on to Bai Jiawei because that was the best she could get, but she chose to cling on to Gu Yechen because that was the best there was to get!

He Xinyan lifted her chin up proudly and smiled just from thinking about her little Chenchen!

"That night, Huiran was in a very bad mood. I didn't know why. . ." Ma Yuhao frowned as he thought of the memory.

"She drank a lot of wine, and she lost control. Then. . . Well, she was drunk, and we ended up sleeping together. After that night, she came over to the bar often and slept with me whenever Bai Jiawei couldn't be with her."

He Xinyan frowned and scrunched her face together in disgust, but she didn't say anything.

"In one of those nights, she got pregnant with Li Yuyan. . . my daughter. She was scared!" Ma Yuhao said, almost like he was trying to convince himself.

"That is why he decided to lie to Bai Jiawei and say the kid was his. I was just a worker in the bar, so I couldn't raise the child too. It is best for her and Bai Jiawei to raise Yuyan. She didn't tell me, but I figured it out quickly. Huiran told me to keep it a secret. . . Of course, I didn't agree in the beginning. Yuyan is my daughter!"

Ma Yuhao couldn't help but still feel a little angry at the thought of another man raising his own daughter, and his daughter calling someone else dad.

"However, Huiran convinced me that it was the best for her and Yuyan. She also helped me get this job in the restaurant, which pays much better than the bar. . . And, she gives me some money each month."

He Xinyan nodded her head. At least he was being truthful.

"That is what happened."

"What about the DNA test?" He Xinyan raised one eyebrow, "Do you know about the DNA test when Li Huiran first entered the He mansion? How did she get past it?"

Ma Yuhao pressed his lips together before hesitantly saying, "She was very worried. She asked me about it too. . . All I know is in the end, she bribed the hospital that did the test, so it was. . . fake."
