She took a step back and called Gu Yechen, "Mr. Husband, I need your help."

Gu Yechen was in a meeting right now, and a second ago, he was very angry at the manager of the marketing department for their horrible proposal.

However, now, he was smiling.

The people inside the room gulped nervously as they waited for their scary boss to finish taking his call.

"Yes, baby, what is it?"

The people in the room all looked up simultaneously in shock. Baby? What?!

When did President Gu have a kid?!

"Can you help me get a private room in XY Restaurant? I didn't book it."

Gu Yechen smiled, "Of course. I'll do it now."

"Thank you! Mwah!" He Xinyan blew Gu Yechen a kiss and hung up the call. Sometimes, it was nice to ask for help from her all-powerful boyfriend.

A few minutes later, the worker at the front let He Xinyan into one of the best private rooms in the corner of the restaurant.

He Xinyan ordered a few dishes and sat to wait. She played around on her phone before a waiter walked in with the food.

"Hello. Do you know a worker here called Ma Yuhao?"

The worker thought for a few seconds, "Yes!"

"Can you bring him here for me? And tell your manager that I need to borrow him for a few minutes."

The worker nodded his head and left the room.

He Xinyan didn't touch the food until the door opened again and Ma Yuhao walked in. He frowned when he saw He Xinyan, and he closed the door and didn't walk over.

He Xinyan chuckled slightly, "Come sit down."

The man gulped and reluctantly sat down across from He Xinyan, "Miss, I still have to return to work. Is there anything I can help you with?"

"You don't have to worry. I already told your colleague to tell your manager that I need you."

"What do you need me for?" Ma Yuhao knit his eyebrows together.

He Xinyan grinned, "I ordered too much food. If you don't mind, you can eat some with me."

"Miss, I need to get back to work. What do you need?"

He Xinyan picked up her chopsticks and began eating, "Well, this might take a while. Should I go call your manager in and tell him you will take a while?"

The man frowned and glared at her for a few seconds before saying gravely, "There is no need for that."

"Good!" He Xinyan grinned. She picked up her phone and leaned back against her chair, casually scrolling around. She opened the recording app and clicked the red button to start recording.

"Ma Yuhao, right?"

"Yes, miss." Ma Yuhao had given up on trying to leave now, and he grudgingly answered her questions.

"You know Li Huiran," He Xinyan said. This wasn't a question, it was a statement. She glanced up and stared intently at Ma Yuhao to see his reaction.

Just like her guess, Ma Yuhao's eyes immediately widened before he quickly looked down.

After several seconds, he finally said, "Li Huiran? Who is that?"

He Xinyan grinned, "No need to try and lie to me, Mr. Ma. I know everything."

She obviously didn't know everything, but the point right now was to get Ma Yuhao to tell the truth.

Ma Yuhao glared at her for several seconds before asking, "Who are you?"

"Me? He Xinyan, nice to meet you!"

She held one hand out but Ma Yuhao didn't budge. He sat there for several seconds, thinking of something. After a while, his mouth suddenly fell open and he narrowed his eyes.

He Xinyan noticed that the way he looked at her was even more unfriendly than before.

She chuckled and pulled her arm back, "It seems like you know who I am now."

"What do you want from me? I know nothing about what you are talking about."

"Oh, really? You really don't know who Li Huiran is?"

Ma Yuhao gulped and shook his head, "No! Who even is that? Miss, can you stop talking nonsense? I need to get back to work."

He Xinyan leaned forward against the table and her smile disappeared, "Stop using work as an excuse. I talked to your manager already. You don't need to go back to work until I tell you to."

The man clenched his fists together and took a deep breath, "Miss, what do you need? I really don't know what you are talking about?"

He Xinyan leaned back and smiled again, "I'm guessing that you already know that I am the stepdaughter of Li Huiran, and the stepsister of your daughter. . . Li Yuyan."

Ma Yuhao looked up slightly when he heard this, but he quickly reacted, "Daughter? Li Yuyan? I don't have a daughter, miss. I think you got something wrong."

He Xinyan slowly took a sip of water and began eating.

Ma Yuhao watched her eat for a minute before he finally frustratingly said, "If you're done, I am going to leave now."

"I'm not done."

"Then what else do you need?"

He Xinyan swallowed her food and smiled sweetly, "I'm done when you tell me the truth."

Then, she went back to eating.

"I am telling the truth!" Ma Yuhao stood up, "Miss, this is very disrespectful! Let me go back to work or tell me what to do!"

He Xinyan glanced up at him, "I'm telling you to tell the truth, and then you can go back to work. Plus, I already told your boss that this counts as your work, and you will still be paid for this time. You aren't losing anything, so you have nothing to be unhappy about."

Ma Yuhao knit his eyebrows together and sat down aggressively, crossing his arms together.

He Xinyan watched him as she placed her chopsticks down and smiled, "How about let's exchange truths?"

She smiled, "I'll tell you a secret, and you'll tell me one."

"No."

He Xinyan smiled wider, "I swear it's worth it."

She reached down and pulled out a file folder before pushing it over to Ma Yuhao, "I'll trust that you will agree to our deal, and I will tell you my secret first! Are you excited to hear it?"

Ma Yuhao didn't respond as he picked up the folder.

"I know that you are Li Yuyan's biological dad, and Li Huiran cheated on Bai Jiawei with you. . . But does that count as cheating, since she wasn't even technically with Bai Jiawei yet back then. . . Bai Jiawei cheated on my mom with Li Huiran, and Li Huiran cheated on Bai Jiawei with you! Hahahaha, how funny is that?! Don't you find that funny?! Hahaha!"

It took a while for He Xinyan to stop laughing before she said, "Anyway, I have evidence that you are actually Li Yuyan's biological dad, so there is no point in you lying to me. Either way, your daughter's life is ruined."

He Xinyan smiled.
