"Master Yi! She. . . she's awake!"

The woman on the bed slowly blinked her eyes open, and even a small movement like that made her body sore.

The person in the shadows stepped out, revealing a very handsome face.

"Check." The man said with a small grin.

"Yes, sir." The doctor took the woman's pulse and did a bunch of medical checks before standing up, "Master Yi, fortunately, everything is fine because she was treated early. She will need to take at least two weeks to recover though. The soreness should last for at least 6 weeks, but she will be able to move around after one week."

Yi Qiansi nodded his head and waved his hand slightly. The doctor packed up his things and quickly left the room.

The woman on the bed slowly looked up and her eyes landed on Yi Qiansi, who was smiling.

Her eyes widened slightly as she thought, 'How can a man look so handsome? It looks like he walked out of a manga.'

Even though she was laying down, she could tell that the man was very tall. He was wearing a grey tuxedo, and it revealed a few patches of skin.

In the dim lighting, it was almost like his skin was glowing. It was a pale but healthy shade, and it made him look even more attractive.

"You're awake," his deep and sexy voice rang through the room.

The woman opened her mouth and said hoarsely, "Who. . . are you?"

Her voice was soft and weak, and even talking made her throat hurt.

The man pulled a chair over and sat down so he was right next to her. Upon closer look, the man was even more handsome.

His facial features were very defined and his overall aura created a mysterious feeling. His thin lips curled up slightly, and his eyes were like black holes, drawing you in.

The most attractive and interesting thing about him was his silver hair. It was quite long for a man, and it seemed to sparkle in the room.

"Nice to meet you, He Xinyan. I am Yi Shao." Yi Qiansi said gently.

"How do you know my name?" He Xinyan asked, her voice barely audible.

"It said on your plane ticket," Yi Qiansi lied.

"Where am I?" He Xinyan closed her eyes because her head was beginning to hurt.

"This is where I live. I saved you. There was a car accident two days ago, and I saved you right before the car exploded."

He Xinyan knit her eyebrows together slightly. She remembered the car accident. . .

She was on the way to the airport, and a truck suddenly hit her car! It has been two days already?!

"Thank you. . ." He Xinyan wanted to ask more questions, but she was too tired. She closed her eyes and fell asleep.

Yi Qiansi crossed his legs and tapped his long and slender fingers on his thigh. He grinned slightly and slowly stood up.

Two guards dressed in black suits were standing at the door when he walked out.

"Stay here," Yi Qiansi told the guards as he walked away himself.

He walked slowly and stopped in front of a large wooden door. He walked in and the delicious smell of food immediately flowed out.

"Is the food ready?"

A maid quickly walked over, "Yes, Master Yi."

He looked towards the table and saw the plates of sweet cakes and other desserts. He walked over and picked up a small slice of strawberry cake.

He elegantly picked up the fork and took a small bite before scrunching his face up.

"Why does she like food like this?"

He placed it back onto the table and walked out.

Inside his office, a man knocked on the door and walked in.

"Master Yi, Gu Yechen is investigating Miss He's whereabouts already."

Yi Qiansi smiled, "He's not really patient, isn't he?"

The man bent his head down slightly and didn't say anything.

"Don't worry, he won't know. Plus, it's not like I am doing anything bad to her. I saved her."

"Yes, Master Yi."

Yi Qiansi smiled, "Did she wake up yet?"

"No, master."

Yi Qiansi stood up from the desk and walked out the door. In another hallway, there was only one room at the very end of the hall.

There was a lock on the door and Yi Qiansi unlocked it with a key in his pocket.

After walking in, he locked the door again.

He entered the large bathroom and closed the door. He walked over to the shower and took off his suit jacket.

He slowly unbuttoned his shirt, revealing his broad and muscular chest, and his defined eight-pack abs.

However, along with the muscles, there were also several scars that ran down his shoulder, chest, and back.

They were deep and long, and from the color of it, one could tell that they had probably been around for a very long time already.

Yi Qiansi took off his pants and entered the shower.

After taking a shower, he walked over to the door once again. After making sure that it was locked, he went to bed, with the lights still open.

The next day, He Xinyan woke up to the sunlight shining in through the window. She was feeling a little better, but her entire body was still very sore.

When she looked around, she immediately noticed the man she saw yesterday standing a few feet away.

"Good morning." Yi Qiansi smiled sweetly, which matched his gentle voice. It naturally made He Xinyan relax, and she smiled back at him.

"Are you hungry?"

He Xinyan gently nodded her head, and the next second, the door opened. Plates of food were carried into the room.

"You were just in an accident, so it is good to eat recovery food. It may be hard to chew now, so eat some porridge."

A maid helped He Xinyan sit up on the bed, and Yi Qiansi carried a bowl of porridge over.

He Xinyan lifted her hands up in an attempt to grab the bowl, but Yi Qiansi pulled it away.

"I'll feed you."
