"I. . . I'm not sure! The lady that instructed me drugged her with something, but I don't know what!"

Gu Yechen frowned, "Who are you?"

"I'm Qi Hao! The cousin of the chairman of the Qi Corporation!" The man said, glancing up to see Gu Yechen's reaction. To his surprise, Gu Yechen wasn't scared in the slightest. The Qi Corporation was considered quite a powerful company in Country Z, so Qi Hao had guessed that Gu Yechen would be on the floor, begging for his forgiveness after hearing about who he was.

"You won't be for much longer."

The man knit his eyebrows together confusedly.

"Because there won't be a Qi Corporation anymore." As he finished his sentence, there was a large commotion at the door as several tall and strong men walked in.

On the elevator door ride up, Gu Yechen had texted his assistant, Chen Xiao, to send over some bodyguards.

Gu Yechen stood up and walked back over to the bed. He didn't want to waste any more time on irrelevant people anymore.

"Bring him to the police. I don't care what he is sentenced for, but he is going to jail."

Qi Hao's eyes widened in shock, "What?! Why! You can't do this! Let go of me! Let go! You guys are all screwed if my uncle hears about this!"

Gu Yechen sat down on the bed next to He Xinyan and slid his hand into hers. Suddenly, her body jerked slightly as she opened her eyes.

"What's wrong?"

He Xinyan relaxed again when she saw Gu Yechen, "Nothing. . . I'm just a little hot."

Gu Yechen immediately knit his eyebrows together. The temperature inside the room was even colder than outside in the chilly autumn weather. How could she be hot?

Was it aphrodisiac?

He Xinyan flipped around on the bed so she was facing Gu Yechen, and he noticed how red her face was. It looked extremely attractive to him, and Gu Yechen gulped as he looked away.

He Xinyan continued to move on the bed as she began to scratch her skin, "Uhh, it's so uncomfortable! What did that stupid Shen Xiner do to me?!"

Gu Yechen's expression darkened as he pulled out his phone. He stood up from the bed and walked away to call someone.

When he was back, He Xinyan still looked very uncomfortable.

"It's okay. It will be okay soon."

A few minutes later, there was a knock on the door and a man walked in.

"What's wrong?!" He said when he saw Gu Yechen, "You're lucky. I was just one street away when you called."

Gu Yechen didn't return his smile, "Check her. What is wrong with her? Did she get drugged?"

This was when the man's eyes landed on He Xinyan. He looked at her for a few seconds and said, "It's obvious. I can tell right away. She got drugged with some type of aphrodisiac. Looking at her reaction, it's probably quite powerful."

Gu Yechen sighed impatiently, "Cure!"

The man gulped and leaned forward, whispering to Gu Yechen, "You should know what the cure is for a drug like that."

Gu Yechen knit his eyebrows together and stared at the man for a very long time, "Is there no other way?"

The man's eyes widened, "Don't you. . . Gu Yechen!"

"What?"

"This is a good opportunity!"

"For what?"

The man licked his lips, "Do you really not know or are you just pretending?"

Gu Yechen's face turned even darker, "Stop wasting time and get to the point."

". . . Sleep. . . You know?"

Gu Yechen gulped and glanced at He Xinyan, who was rolling around on the bed. It was indeed very tempting. . .

'I. . . I want to save it for until after getting married.' Gu Yechen suddenly remembered what He Xinyan had said last time they were close to doing it.

Gu Yechen sighed. He couldn't do it while she was under the use of drugs. That would be taking advantage of her.

"What other ways are there?"

The man clicked his tongue and shook his head before saying, "Well, there is a medicine, but the side effects for the minutes after taking it aren't very pleasant."

Gu Yechen was in a dilemma. He didn't want her to suffer from taking the medicine, but he also didn't want her to be mad at him for taking advantage of her during a time like this.

Finally, after a few seconds, Gu Yechen said, "Where's the medicine?"

The man blinked a few times, "I'll go get it. You can put her in a bathtub with cold water. That will help too."

Gu Yechen frowned, "Hurry."

After the man was gone, Gu Yechen walked into the restroom and filled the bathtub up with cold water.

Then, he lifted He Xinyan off of the bed and walked over to the restroom. Feeling the coldness from Gu Yechen's body, He Xinyan immediately clung on to him and rubbed his face against her chest, which wasn't exactly a good decision considering how tempted Gu Yechen was right now.

He gulped and placed her into the shower with her clothes on, "Don't move."

He Xinyan let out a breath when her skin touched the cold water, and it did help for the first few seconds.

She closed her eyes and a few seconds later, there was a knock on the bathroom door.

Gu Yechen opened it slightly.

"Here is the medicine."

After snatching the small bottle from him, Gu Yechen slammed the door in the man's face.

The medicine was a liquid and from the smell, it probably wasn't very pleasant to take.

He bent down in the bathtub and placed the open bottle in front of He Xinyan's mouth, "Baby, drink this."

He Xinyan scrunched her face up at the bad smell, "Ew, what is that?"

"It's medicine. Everything will be better after you take this."

He Xinyan blinked tiredly, "Really?"

Gu Yechen slowly nodded his head, although he wasn't very sure either. He Xinyan lifted one arm out of the water and grabbed onto the bottle.

She held her nose as she drank all of the contents inside the bottle in one gulp. Right after, she began coughing as the spicy filling traveled down her throat.

"Is it better?" Gu Yechen immediately asked, receiving no response.

Several seconds later, He Xinyan began to shiver, "It's cold."

Gu Yechen frowned and opened the water again, turning it to warm water.

"Is this better?"

He Xinyan shook her head. She pressed her lips together as she lifted one leg out of the water. Gu Yechen stood up and opened the door to see the man waiting outside.

"Why is she suddenly cold now?"

"That is how the medicine works. Don't worry, it should be better in a few seconds."

Gu Yechen turned around and walked back into the restroom. He looked down at the bathtub and to his surprise, He Xinyan had her eyes closed again.

She was asleep.
