Suddenly, the door opened and someone walked in, disturbing his thoughts.

Su Zhiming frowned when he saw who it was and he crossed his arms together, "Why didn't you knock?"

Su Zhiming's assistant froze and he gulped, "President Su, I did knock."

"Whatever. What is it?"

"Here is the monthly report for the company."

Su Zhiming flipped open the folder and leaned back against his chair to read what was on the pages.

"Our ranking moved up again." Su Zhiming raised one eyebrow as a small smile crept up his face. Newstart Entertainment was in the top 10 for Country Z entertainment companies already, which was a very rare sight for a new company like his!

Of course, this was largely due to the help of the He Corporation, but Su Zhiming didn't want to admit that.

Their upper bodies were naked and several of them had blood covering most of their skin.

Concubine Xi took a deep breath and looked away before walking in further. Next, there were several servants that were doing work. They seemed to be mixing something in a huge jar, and there were guards watching them.

"Hurry up! Stop slacking off! You! What are you doing?! Do you want to receive a beating?! Hurry and do your work!"

Concubine Xi walked past them as well with her eyebrows tightly furrowed together. As she walked in further, the sound of screaming grew softer and softer.

Finally, she stopped in front of several cells. Most of the cells were empty since few servants were actually sent here. Unless you made a huge mistake, most servants didn't get punished to death.

Most just received a spanking from their owner, so being sent here meant you probably made a more serious mistake.
