Gu Yechen looked at He Xinyan, "Did you push her?"

He Xinyan shook her head.

"Okay." Gu Yechen walked straight past the four people and He Xinyan's feet "accidentally" kicked Li Huiran and Li Yuyan while they walked.

Bai Jiawei frowned, "You -"

"Is there a problem?" Gu Yechen stopped in his tracks and the entire room seemed to drop in temperature. Li Yuyan was standing closest to Gu Yechen, and she quickly moved up a few steps nervously.

Bai Jiawei gulped and pressed his lips together, ". . . No, no."

Gu Yechen was satisfied with the answer as he walked down the final steps and out of the house.

Outside the house, Gu Yechen continued to carry He Xinyan bear style all the way to Gu Yechen's house.

He stopped in front of the door and glanced at her, "I have to open the door."

He Xinyan frowned and locked her feet together behind Gu Yechen's back.

Gu Yechen sighed helplessly but his expression was filled with love. He stretched his arm further so one arm could wrap around both of He Xinyan's legs.

He swiftly let go of the other hand and quickly opened the door. He opened the door and stepped into the house.

Gu Yechen sat down on the couch and He Xinyan was about to slide off of him when he grabbed onto her arm and pulled her in.

"You think you can leave so easily?" He narrowed his eyes and one corner of his lips lifted slightly.

"Huh?" He Xinyan didn't even get time to react when Gu Yechen suddenly put one hand on the back of her head and pulled her in for a very long and deep kiss.

After several seconds of shock, He Xinyan slowly closed her eyes and began returning the kiss. The temperature around them rose as they embraced each other.

The kiss lasted for over a minute before Gu Yechen finally let go of her. He felt the warm feeling of her breath as He Xinyan's body slowly sank down.

She was out of breath as she leaned onto Gu Yechen's chest.

"Come on, let's go eat." Gu Yechen was full now from the kiss but his little baby was still hungry. Gu Yechen wrapped his arms around her legs and stood up, carrying her over to the dining table.

Finally, they sat down to eat.

"You are going to use the fake pregnancy to get rid of Li Huiran, right?"

He Xinyan nodded her head as she took a big bite of rice, "Of course!"

"Then I thought of something."

He Xinyan swallowed the food, "Tell me, tell me!"

He Xinyan ate as she listened and after several minutes, Gu Yechen finished.

"I think it's really good, and it isn't extremely complicated."

Gu Yechen smiled happily to hear his wifey compliment him.

"Tomorrow?"

Gu Yechen nodded.

After dinner, He Xinyan returned home and she immediately saw Bai Jiawei and Li Huiran sitting on the couch when she walked in.

"He Xinyan, did you call President Gu over?"

He Xinyan stopped and put on a genuine smile, "Yes, and dad. . . I want to apologize for my behavior and attitude earlier. I should have been more respectful. . . After all, the baby boy in Auntie Li's stomach is very important, and it is the treasure of the family."

Bai Jiawei was very surprised at the sudden change in He Xinyan's attitude, and he didn't know how to respond. He was going to scold her again after she came back, but now. . .

It was true that the little boy in Li Huiran's stomach was a treasure to him. Bai Jiawei rubbed her hands together excitedly at the thought of a son.

After clearing his throat, he said, "Okay. It's good that you recognize your mistakes."

"Good night, dad. Good night, Auntie Li."

He Xinyan's smile immediately disappeared as she turned away and walked up the stairs.

The next day, after Bai Jiawei had left for work.

It was after lunchtime when He Xinyan stepped out of her bedroom. She walked over to Li Huiran's room and was about to knock when she suddenly heard voices from inside.

It was Li Huiran and Li Yuyan. . .

"- come home tomorrow."

"Why?" Li Yuyan said.

"To watch a great show!" Li Huiran smirked, "I'm going to get rid of that little b*****."

He Xinyan raised one eyebrow as she leaned closer to the door. Was Li Huiran talking about her?

Li Yuyan's eyes brightened, "How? Mom, tell me!"

"Using this," Li Huiran said as she pointed to her stomach. "Tomorrow, I'll just get into an argument with He Xinyan and pretend that she pushed me. I'll say that she hurt my stomach and lose the child, and -"

"Mom, you can't do that!"

He Xinyan furrowed her eyebrows together. What was wrong with Li Yuyan?

"The son inside is more important than getting rid of that b****! You can't give him up for her!"

Li Huiran sighed, "Yuyan, I'm not actually pregnant."

"What?!" Li Yuyan jumped up from the bed.

"Sh!" Li Huiran looked towards the door and He Xinyan jumped back quickly.

"I just said it back then because I had no other choice."

"Then where did the pregnancy report come from?!"

"It's fake!" Li Huiran frowned at her daughter's stupidity, "Ok, anyway, I won't be able to hide it for much longer. I need to find a way to get rid of the child. So, why not use it to help us further?"

Li Yuyan clapped her hands together, "Mom, you're a genius! When is this going to happen?"

"It has to happen after Bai Jiawei gets home. I'll go call He Xinyan down for dinner and then carry out the plan."

Li Yuyan licked her lips excitedly, "Then what about the blood? And the hospital?"

"I can just use fake blood! Don't worry about me! You just have to help me make things more dramatic so your dad will get more mad. We need to get rid of her once and for all!"

Li Yuyan smiled, "Of course! Mom, leave it to me!"

He Xinyan stepped away from the room and walked back to her own bedroom. Crossing her arms, she sat down on her bed and smirked.

It seemed like she didn't need to do her plan anymore! Perfect!

At night, Gu Yechen came and asked her how things went. She told her what she had heard and her new plan. Gu Yechen listened intently and nodded her head in agreement.

"Okay. . . go to sleep now."

The next day, He Xinyan left for filming early in the morning all the way until after lunch. When she came back home, it was almost time for dinner since she also went out for afternoon tea with Wu Minger.

Wu Minger was still going strong with Gu Yebei and their relationship seemed to be getting better and better with time.

She returned home and changed into comfortable clothes. She tied her hair up in preparation for what was about to come.

Li Huiran was indeed manipulative and scheming. . . but she forgot that walls have ears. Her plan was destined to fail.

He Xinyan jumped onto her bed and began scrolling through social media, waiting for Li Huiran to show up.

About half an hour later, the door opened. There wasn't even a knock as Li Huiran walked in. She had her arms crossed and her head held high.

He Xinyan raised one eyebrow at Li Huiran's composure.

"Hi, Auntie Li!" She waved cheerfully.

Li Huiran was surprised that He Xinyan didn't get mad at her for not knocking, but she continued with her plan.

"He Xinyan, aren't you scared?"

He Xinyan got up from the bed and put her phone down, "Scared of what?"

"Once my baby son comes out, everything will go to him. Jiawei will love him more than you and Yuyan combined, and everything in the He Corporation will go to him."

He Xinyan laughed, "Li Huiran, sorry to break your dreams, but that won't happen. You and your son both don't have any relation with the He family line or the He Corporation. I know you feel very proud about being the mistress of the husband of my grandpa's only daughter, but that doesn't make you any higher than what you were before. You still have no relation with the He family, and no relation with the upper class."

Li Huiran was here to make He Xinyan mad, but by now, she was fuming with anger.

He Xinyan smiled at this pleasant sight, "I am the only rightful owner to the He family's belongings. Not Bai Jiawei, not you, or any of your children. Wake up, Li Huiran."

"You -"

"Of course. . . That is all under the premise that you do have a son."

Li Huiran's breathing was heavy as she froze. For some reason, there was this weird feeling she had about He Xinyan, but she didn't know what it was.

"He Xinyan -" Li Huiran looked around and realized that she couldn't spend too much time up here, or else it would be suspicious.

Her eyes landed on He Xinyan and she lunged forward at her.
