With a smile, He Xinyan closed the lights and slowly opened the door.

Her plan had worked.

"Do you want to hear what I thought up?" Gu Yechen asked cautiously.

He Xinyan swallowed her food and nodded her head eagerly, "Yes!"

Gu Yechen took a sip of water before he began explaining his plan, "So. . . First, one of the major obstacles for us is Su Zhiming."

He Xinyan nodded her head in agreement. She had thought of that as well.

"Your dad is quite a selfish person, especially when it comes to money. Therefore, he wouldn't let go of Su Zhiming so easily, because the He Corporation had spent a lot of money to help Su Zhiming's company. Also, Su Zhiming's company is doing quite well now, which only adds to why Bai Jiawei wouldn't let Su Zhiming go so easily."

"Now, Su Zhiming is tied to Li Yuyan, so Bai Jiawei wouldn't want Li Yuyan to leave with Su Zhiming. However, the only way to cut their ties is to get them to divorce, which isn't really possible at the moment. Therefore, there is one other way."

He Xinyan lifted her head up slightly in anticipation. This was what she had trouble thinking of. . .

Gu Yechen grinned, "We have to get Su Zhiming's company to lose money. . . A lot of money."

"How are you going to do that?"

Gu Yechen chuckled softly, "Baby, did you forget who your boyfriend is?"

"No. . . My boyfriend is Gu Yechen." He Xinyan's eyes suddenly widened in realization. How could she forget?!

"You're Gu Yechen! Of course it would be easy for you to have Su Zhiming's company lose money."

What couldn't Gu Yechen do?! He Xinyan wanted to look inside her brain to see if it was just filled with water. Why didn't she think of that?!

In the beginning, she had agreed to be Gu Yechen's girlfriend so she could use him in the future when there were things she couldn't accomplish but Gu Yechen could.

This was the perfect opportunity!

Although their relationship wasn't just a contract anymore, it was still nice to have such a powerful tool available.

He Xinyan smiled as she leaned forward excitedly, "I'll leave that job to you then!"

Gu Yechen nodded, "Anything for my baby."

He Xinyan blushed slightly, "Keep going! What would happen next after Su Zhiming's company loses money?"

"You told me that last time Su Zhiming was here to discuss his company's situation with your dad, right?"

He Xinyan nodded, "He does that every month."

"Perfect. So, I will make Su Zhiming's company lose a lot of money. This is only a guess, but I think that Su Zhiming would definitely not want to show your dad his financial statements after losing so much money. After all, your dad didn't approve of his marriage with Li Yuyan in the beginning, so he wouldn't want to ruin his reputation now after so much hard work."

"I think so too. From what I know about Su Zhiming, he is quite a proud person. He wouldn't want to show my dad that he is losing money."

Gu Yechen nodded, "However, Su Zhiming can't escape his monthly meeting with your dad, or else your dad would definitely notice that something is wrong. Now, this is also just an assumption, but I believe that Su Zhiming would create a fake financial statement to show your dad."

"What?!" He Xinyan knit her eyebrows together slightly.

"This is the only flaw in this plan. I can't say that I am 100 percent certain that he will do so, but I think that this is most likely. Creating fake financial statements is very easy, and several companies do it. From my understanding of Su Zhiming, I think that would be his best option."

He Xinyan pressed her lips together, "Hm. . . I think that is most likely too. However, what if it doesn't work. . ."

"If it doesn't, we will have to come up with another plan. Of course, I strongly don't think that Su Zhiming will show your dad the real financial statement, and he can't escape the monthly meeting, as that would basically be telling your dad that something is wrong. So, I think that our plan would most likely work."

"Okay. . ." He Xinyan grinned, "I trust you."

Gu Yechen smiled, "After that, it is your job. If I am right, and Su Zhiming does give your dad a fake financial statement, then the rest of the plan should go by smoothly. I will find a way to get the real financial statement for Su Zhiming's company and give it to you. After the meeting, you will have to find a way to show your dad the real financial statement. My suggestion is to put it onto his desk or something like that, somewhere he can find it and look at it."

He Xinyan tilted her head to one side slightly, "How will you get the real financial statement?"

"Don't worry about it. I have my ways. Your dad would definitely be very mad after looking at the real financial statement, and the rest of the plan should be easy. Su Zhiming will have to tell the truth, and then your dad will ask Su Zhiming how much money was lost and how much money was put into the project.

Gu Yechen leaned forward, "This is important. If your dad doesn't ask how much money was put into the project, you ask for him. It is very important for your dad to know how much money was put into the project."

"Why?"

Gu Yechen leaned back against his chair and smiled, "I had my assistant check the other day, and I found that half a million was put into Su Zhiming's project."

"What?! Where did he get that money?" He Xinyan was certain that Su Zhiming didn't have half a million when he first began this project.

Gu Yechen smirked, "At first, I thought it must have been a sponsor from another company. However, it wasn't. "The bank can do it. After all, Li Huiran is the lady master of the He family to outsiders right now. She still has some power."

He Xinyan couldn't believe what she was hearing, "So, Li Huiran stole half a million from Bai Jiawei without him knowing and gave it to Su Zhiming for him to start the project?"

Gu Yechen smiled, "Yes. During that time, Bai Jiawei didn't acknowledge Su Zhiming yet, so there is no way he would have agreed to give Su Zhiming the money. Your dad is a selfish person, so he would be furious to learn that Li Huiran stole his money for Su Zhiming. "Did you think the Gu family is some easy and simple family? Scheming is an easy task for me! The food is cold already. I'll go heat it up."

Gu Yechen stood up and disappeared into the kitchen.
