He Xinyan quickly covered his mouth with one hand. She already knew what he was about to say from the look in his eyes and the unknown and hard object poking her near her legs.

She wasn't trying to act like some pure and fake woman, but she truly wasn't ready yet. She did admit her feelings towards him, and she did indeed like. . . love him by now, but intercourse was something to be taken very seriously.

In her past life, she had agreed to let Su Zhiming take her purity away before getting married, and that was one of her biggest regrets.

Gu Yechen saw the hesitation and panic in her eyes, and he took a deep breath to calm himself down, "It's okay. My birthday present to you will be the same every year, so I can wait. I don't want to force you into doing anything you don't like."

Gu Yechen kissed her gently on the forehead, "Go to sleep now. I'm going to go take a shower quickly."

To be honest, she was very grateful that he didn't push her but instead respected her decision. Just by that alone, he was already a million times better than Su Zhiming.

She covered herself to her neck with the blanket and closed her eyes.

Inside the restroom, Gu Yechen had removed all of his clothing and stepped into the cold shower. The cold water splashed onto his skin, but he didn't shiver. He closed his eyes and looked down at the "someone" who had woken up.

After he put the "someone" back to sleep, he exited the restroom and went to sleep himself.

It was 10 at night when Li Yuyan left the He mansion and walked down the sidewalk to two streets behind them. The house they originally wanted was bought by a mysterious person, so they ended up buying a different house that was another street down, but still inside the Xihe Estates.

After the wedding, Su Zhiming wasn't in a very good mood, and he had left inside his own car, saying he had work to do in the company.

That was also why Li Yuyan returned to the He mansion, because their new house together was empty anyway.

Li Yuyan opened the door and walked in to find all of the lights closed on the first floor. Her tears threatened to spill out again, but she held them back as she walked up to their bedroom on the second floor.

When she opened the door, she was surprised to see that the lights were opened. She walked in excitedly and heard the shower noise coming from the restroom.

Zhiming was home?

Li Yuyan smiled and dropped her bag before changing into a revealing lingerie set and climbing onto the bed. She didn't even remove her makeup as she waited for Su Zhiming to finish showering.

A few minutes later, the water sound came to a stop and she heard the shower door open.

She covered only a part of her body with the blanket, and a lot of skin was revealed in the bright room. After another few minutes, the restroom door opened.

Su Zhiming walked out with his pajamas on and his hair was still dripping wet. When he saw Li Yuyan, he slightly furrowed his eyebrows before walking around the bed to get on.

"Zhiming. . ." Li Yuyan called as she sat up, letting the blanket slide down her upper body, which was only covered by a revealing lingerie set. "Where did you go?"

"The company." He sat down on the bed and dried his hair with a towel. Suddenly, a pair of arms wrapped around his waist from behind.

"It's our first night together after getting married. . ." She said, her chest gently rubbing against his back.

Su Zhiming placed the towel onto the nightstand and turned his head around slightly, "I'm tired."

Li Yuyan took it one step further by lowering her hand and resting it onto Su Zhiming's crotch, "Zhiming. . ."

For a second, Su Zhiming heard He Xinyan's voice in her tone, and the body part she was touching immediately hardened.

Li Yuyan's eyes lit up happily as she slowly began moving her hand.

Su Zhiming closed his eyes for a second before he suddenly turned around and pushed Li Yuyan onto the bed. With both hands, he ripped the lingerie set she was wearing off and also began taking off his own pajamas.

Li Yuyan smiled triumphantly as she let him continue. She knew he couldn't resist her. That was also how they got together in the first place.

He Xinyan didn't let Su Zhiming touch her at the beginning of their relationship, and of course Su Zhiming couldn't stand that. And that was one of the main reasons Li Yuyan succeeded in stealing Su Zhiming away from He Xinyan.

She looked up at his face and grinned. Su Zhiming was truly very handsome. . . Although Li Yuyan hated to admit that he couldn't compare with Gu Yechen, he was still very eye-catching.

Su Zhiming had a more gentle and intelligent look in comparison to the more charming and kind of dark and dangerous feeling Gu Yechen had.

What Li Yuyan didn't know was that throughout this entire session of intercourse, Su Zhiming had his eyes closed, and his mind had flown away to imagine her as He Xinyan.

The next morning, He Xinyan woke up and the first thing she saw was a black wall. . . Or actually, it was Gu Yechen's chest. They were laying so close to each other almost every centimeter of their body was touching.

She tried to scoot away a bit, but Gu Yechen's arms around her just tightened even more. His eyes were still closed and his breathing was even, so He Xinyan didn't want to wake him up.
