He Xinyan woke up from her alarm clock and rubbed her eyes. She saw the empty space on the other side of the bed but there was still something out of place.

Gu Yechen's pillow was still on the bed. . .

He Xinyan sat up on her bed and grabbed the pillow. She could smell the light and masculine scent of Gu Yechen from the pillow, and she remembered his shameless actions yesterday.

She walked over to her balcony and was about to throw the pillow at the trees when she stopped.

He Xinyan took another look at the pillow and sighed. Hugging it to her chest, she looked down her balcony and frowned when she saw how high up she was.

She was at least 40 feet up into the air and there was no way to just walk up here. How in the world did Gu Yechen even get up to her balcony?

He Xinyan walked back into her room and threw the pillow back onto the bed. She grabbed her computer and sat back down on her bed in her pajamas.

As the script for the role was loading, He Xinyan looked around and saw the beautiful red rose on her nightstand.

She narrowed her eyes and picked the rose up with her fingers. The thorns have been cut off and all of the petals on the rose were in perfect bloom.

He Xinyan took a sniff and couldn't help but smile. Gu Yechen had a good taste in picking flowers.

Two hours later, He Xinyan did her makeup and dressed up before walking out of her room. It was almost lunchtime as He Xinyan walked down the stairs.

Bai Jiawei and Li Huiran were sitting on the couch together, each doing their own thing. They looked up simultaneously when they heard He Xinyan walking down the stairs.

It was a Saturday, so Bai Jiawei was home but He Xinyan slightly furrowed her eyebrows when she didn't see Li Yuyan.

"Where are you going?" Bai Jiawei asked.

"I have an audition."

Li Huiran stood up from the couch, "What a coincidence! Yuyan has an audition today too!"

He Xinyan thought back but she couldn't remember whether Li Yuyan was a part of the 'Beautiful Things Past' audition too.

After telling them she wasn't going to come back for lunch, He Xinyan left. She met up with Wu Minger in front of the audition building and they walked in together.

As they sat down, He Xinyan looked around and saw that many celebrities with some fame were also auditioning today.

The main female and male lead roles had been set already, and the actor and actress were both extremely famous A-list celebrities.

"Yanyan, Yang Yaqi brought white lotus over." Wu Minger whispered into He Xinyan's ear.

He Xiyan glanced at the door and saw that Yang Yaqi had walked in confidently with Li Yuyan walking beside her. The two of them seemed to be in a great mood as they talked to each other happily.

Yes, the white lotus Wu Minger was talking about is Li Yuyan.

'Beautiful Things Past' was based on a very popular novel of the same name. The director, Ma Qiaoqi, was extremely famous and had a good reputation, and over 200 million dollars had been invested into this film.

This drama hasn't even started filming yet, but the news and media were already reporting about it. Everyone knew that this film was going to be very big and hot, so tons of people came today to audition.

Even if it was just a small role, they would be happy to get at least a second of screen time in the large film.

He Xinyan wasn't surprised when she saw that Yang Yaqi had brought Li Yuyan over. Li Yuyan was Yang Yaqi's favorite artist, and she also had some small fame.

He Xinyan was prettier than her and also, she was more talented. Li Yuyan clenched her fists together angrily as she wondered where her plan went wrong.

"What role are you auditioning for?"

He Xinyan thought for a second before replying, "What about you?"

"I asked you first." Li Yuyan knit her eyebrows together and took a step forward.

"You say it first."

Li Yuyan didn't continue arguing and she replied, "I'm auditioning for the role of Concubine Xi."

". . ."

Coincidentally, the role He Xinyan was auditioning for was Concubine Xi's maid.
