Mrs. Huo is a Crybaby Chapter 426

The grand piano started playing and the lights dimmed.
"This song, 'Good Night', is for all of you."
She had a pleasant voice, and when she spoke softly, she sounded gentle like water.
"Ahhh! Go, School Beauty!"
"Song Jingwan, I love you!!"
As the school beauty, Song Jingwan had plenty of admirers.
When she heard the screams, she smiled shyly and started singing.
"The window blocks the intersecting moon.
"Amidst the fancy words, a busy figure endures the long night, quickly leaving behind his feelings."
...
"A few people chat and bid farewell.
"Those with an overactive imagination can easily get lost.
"It's harder to be sentimental than fickle."
...
Song Yaoyao found her thermos. She sat in the waiting room and took a sip of water.
Song Jingwan's singing resounded outside.
She quite liked this song. Unfortunately...
Song Jingwan could not portray the feelings well. In fact, she seemed a little pretentious.
However, for a student performance, it was good enough.
She swung her legs and suddenly heard some footsteps coming from behind her.
Song Yaoyao turned her head and the cold scent of cedar hit her in the face.
Someone grabbed her hip, pressed her against some drawers, and kissed down gently on her lips.
"Mm... Gege..."
Song Yaoyao's body softened. She struggled at first but she quickly started hugging Huo Yunque's waist and lifting her head to look at him.
The normally cold and restrained man suddenly had a sense of warmth between his eyes.
She stretched out one hand and placed it on his shoulder. The other hand disobediently twisted Huo Yunque's ear.
The petite girl was pressed against the drawers. The man arched his back slightly with a powerful and dominating presence.
A girl who was entering screamed in surprise. She quickly covered her eyes and retreated.

Oh God!
Who was so brave as to kiss here?
Moreover, the man's body and face did not look like a student's.
Song Yaoyao was frightened too. With a gasp, she tried to push the man away, but he grabbed her chin and pulled her toward him again.
When he finally let her go, Song Yaoyao's face was red and her eyes were moist like she was holding back tears. Her eyelashes were wet and her lips were swollen.
Huo Yunque chuckled as he looked at her silly expression and wiped the corner of her lips.
"Have you lost your mind?"
The man's voice was deep and filled with amusement, snapping Song Yaoyao out of her daze.
She pouted her lips and blushed as she buried her head in the man's embrace.
"Gege, why did you suddenly..."
Wasn't he outside watching the performance? Why was he backstage?
Huo Yunque squeezed her cheeks and forced her to lift her head.
As he watched her pout her lips like a goldfish, his eyes darkened.
"Why were you smiling earlier?"
"What? It's cause I saw Gege..." Song Yaoyao replied unclearly.
Earlier, when she finished her performance, she had lifted her head and saw the man that she wanted to see. It was already good enough that she didn't jump off the stage and run up to him.
"So?"
Huo Yunque retracted his hand and clicked his tongue. The girl's skin was soft and supple; just a simple squeeze was enough to make her cheeks red.
He curled his finger and tapped on her head. "Don't smile like that ever again."
The boys almost went crazy from her smile. Did she know how alluring she was?
"Why?"
Song Yaoyao puffed up her cheeks. The lotus between her eyebrows bloomed beautifully.
Huo Yunque lifted his hand and wiped off the lotus heartlessly. His fingers were covered in red.
"No reason."
"Hey!" Song Yaoyao was unhappy.
Xu Yue had personally drawn this flower for her! She had been reluctant to wipe it off.

Eight Years Ago"Mom.." I say with a small smile on my face.My sister had passed her first music lesson and we're all so proud of her."What is it Layla!? can't you see I'm busy?!" She snaps."Oh.." I say, my smile faltering slightly, as I watch mom cuddle Heidi and give her lots of sweets as reward."C-can I have a sweetie too?" I ask.Mom laughs coldly. "Why should you? You've never achieved anything, have you?! Lazy little brat." Heidi giggles and I look at her to see a smirk on her face, making my face fall. I watch mom whisper things to Heidi, making her giggle even more. The door swings open, and my dad walks in.I smile again, running to him and hug his knees but he just brushes me off with an annoyed expression, walking towards my mom hugging her and ruffling Heidi's hair. What's going on?"Dad..ruffle my hair too?" I ask hesitantly. All three of them burst out laughing and I sink down in embarassment."Layla, we always knew you weren't the brightest kid here." He laughs "I just knew you'd be a screw up, right Luise?" He says and she nods."And I was right. You're a failure" He grabs my maths sheet, crumples it up and throws it at me. "You spend way too much time with your 'friends' never on your education, you ungrateful little brat. We should've got rid of you as soon as we found out you were on the way." He spits out spitefully as my mum nods, still smirking."Dad I'll do better, I promise!"I sob, tears streaming down my face, but he shakes his head, smirking. I look at my sister and walk towards her giving her a watery smile."H-Heidi... we're still friends right?" I ask, desperately. Her smirk slowly vanishes. she leans forward and I thought she'd hug me, but instead she pulls my hair and pushes me onto the floor making me scream. She laughs, my parents joining her."Stupid" she hisses, kicking me, before going to my parents, all of them walking out, leaving me on the floor, crying my eyes out. What have I done to deserve this?
