Chapter 474 - Living and Eating Together
“Ziyun, just now I…” Nie Li tried to explain.
Ye Ziyun furiously stared at Nie Li as she said, “I’m not looking for you to talk about these things.”
“Ziyun, just now we really did not. He only wanted to verify the mark on my body…” Xiao Ning’er’s face was boiling, but she did not dare to look at Ye Ziyun. The earlier scenario was just too awkward.
“Nie Li, are you just trying to find an excuse to trick Ning’er?!” Ye Ziyun cast her lips to the side as she looked at Nie Li.
“I was, indeed, just verifying the mark.” Nie Li’s face turned bitter.
“Hmph, I don’t think you would dare to, either.” Ye Ziyun snorted as she continued, “Things aside, let's talk about serious matters.”
Looking at Ye Ziyun, Nie Li already knew that she was no longer angry. They had come to the Draconic Ruins Realm together, since their lives were all tied together. They had to bear the entire Glory City, the life and death of the Tiny World. She was an understanding person, so she would definitely not haggle on this matter. Furthermore, she had already figured things out in her heart. She, Ning’er and Nie Li had already been tied together so much that even scissors couldn’t cut them apart.
What else could she do? No matter how the future would be, it’s best to let things take course by themselves.
Thinking about it here, Ye Ziyun’s heart stabilised much more.
“Sect Master Nangong found me to discuss some things with you. She’s not in the position to come so she had me come speak on her behalf.” Ye Ziyun said.
“Oh, what is it?” Nie Li’s brows twitched as he squinted his eyes. Vaguely, he had already guessed what it was about.
“Sect Master Nangong said that it isn’t too appropriate for so many people of our Divine Feathers Sect to come to the Heavenly Note Sect,” said Ye Ziyun. She had already thought of herself as a part of the Divine Feathers Sect.

After all, the entire Divine Feathers Sect was under Mu Chen’s control and the Heavenly Note Sect was just a temporary residing place for them.
“Oh? What’s improper about it?” Nie Li blinked as he asked.
“She said that the current Heavenly Note Sect has become… become…” Ye Ziyun’s face flushed red.
“Become, what?” Nie Li chuckled.
“Become a matchmaking event… Every single member from the Divine Feathers Sect, they have indeed protected the Heavenly Note Sect. But secretly, it’s in a mess…” When Ye Ziyun spoke till the end, she was simply too bashful to the point that she had clenched her teeth, “She told us to restrict those from our sects a little.”
“A mess? What did they do?” Nie Li was stunned.
“Under your orders, if they do not find their… second half, then they can dream on returning back to the Divine Feathers Sect. Therefore, the disciples of the Divine Feathers Sect had gone all-out. There were over ten found of climbing over walls and over thirty that were found in the rooms of the girls. This morning, we found that there are over sixty disciples pregnant but no matter how we questioned them, none of them was willing to say who the child belongs to.” As Ye Ziyun spoke, she was simply too bashful to continue further.
“Cough, cough. Ziyun, you go back and tell this to Sect Master Nangong. Back then, it was she who agreed with me to bring my Divine Feathers Sect in to protect the Heavenly Note Sect. My Divine Feathers Sect has already accomplished our promise and she cannot destroy the bridge after crossing it. If that’s the case, then my Divine Feathers Sect will definitely not agree to it!” Nie Li said solemnly.
When Xiao Ning’er heard him from the side, she couldn’t help giggling as she laughed. This time, Sect Master Nangong had boarded the pirate ship, so how would it be easy for her to get out of it? That fellow, Nie Li, was simply too wicked! Just thinking about it, Xiao Ning’er’s face had turned uncontrollably red.

Ye Ziyun cast a glance at Nie Li and said, “If there’s anything you want to say, say it to her. I’m just responsible for passing the word.”
“Cough, cough.” Nie Li was somewhat awkward. The reason why Sect Master Nangong did not want to come and got Ye Ziyun to come naturally meant that there were some things that weren’t proper for Nie Li to speak to Ziyun about.
But Sect Master Nangong had belittled Nie Li’s shamelessness.
Nie Li paced back and forth as he pondered, then said, “Since Sect Master Nangong has already said so, it’s definitely impossible for us to retreat. The Divine Feathers Sect will do our best to protect the Heavenly Note Sect. As for those that were caught climbing over the walls, they’re simply a bunch of trash. There are doors for them to walk and they actually chose to climb over the walls and were even caught. It’s simply an issue with the teachings of our Divine Feathers Sect, I beg the Sect Master Nangong for forgiveness. But it’s not much of an offence to climb over walls, just give them a few strokes as punishment. As for those hiding in the girls’ houses, there might be some reason for them to do so. We will question them thoroughly and our Divine Feathers Sect will not let a disciple with improper hearts off easily, nor will we wrongly accuse them.”
Hearing Nie Li’s words, Ye Ziyun and Xiao Ning’er choked on their laughter. Nie Li simply had a bunch of wicked ideas in his stomach, and hearing Nie Li’s words, Sect Master Nangong would probably go insane. Nie Li was clearly trying to side with the disciples of his Divine Feathers Sect and Sect Master Nangong naturally couldn’t fall out just because of this matter. Not to mention that the Heavenly Note Sect was weaker than the Divine Feathers Sect, to begin with. If they fell out with the Divine Feathers Sect, Sect Master Nangong was clear of the consequences.
“As for those pregnant female disciples of the Heavenly Note Sect, they’re truly pitiful that they don’t even know who the father of the child is. If the Heavenly Note Sect was so strict that they want to drive those disciples out, my Divine Feathers Sect will be kind and accept them. So I hope that Sect Master Nangong does not force them onto a path of no retreat.” Nie Li pondered as he continued.
“Regarding this matter, a major issue is exposed, the defensive measures of the Heavenly Note Sect is too poor to the point that so many people can go in an out of their inner sects and even humiliate those female disciples. As the Sect Master of the Divine Feathers Sect, I feel indignant at the injustice just by hearing about this matter. I will send the disciples of the Divine Feathers Sect to help protect the Heavenly Note Sect, to let the disciples of the Divine Feathers Sect stay with the disciples of the Heavenly Note Sect. If anyone manages to enter into the inner section of the Heavenly Note Sect, I will hold them questionable.” Nie Li snorted.
The disciples in the Heavenly Note Sect were all female disciples and Nie Li actually sent male disciples to do the job, to stay and eat together with them. It would be strange if nothing happened…
Furthermore, since it’s the Divine Feathers Sect doing the protection, wasn’t it easier for the male disciples of the Divine Feathers Sect and go in and out of the Heavenly Note Sect?
But was Nangong Xianyin capable of rejecting this?
Either she closes an eye on this matter or thoroughly fall out with the Divine Feathers Sect. So how would Nangong Xianyin choose?
