My Four Other Selves Chapter 77

Zhang Yong wanted to get up now and tried to move but his wound in the back started to hurt badly. His arm was also hurting baldy. There wasn't even blood coming out of it any more. He knew his whole body would be having scars now after being tortured by that wiper.
Senior Zhang Yong saw Zhang Yong moving up. He realized that Zhang Yong was trying to get up from the ground and sit but he knew with his current condition he wouldn't be able to.
He didn't want him to get up and hurt himself more than this so he hurriedly put his hand in front of him, signaling him to stop whatever he was doing as he said, "Don't get up!"
Zhang Yong immediately stopped and relaxed his body there on the ground. He didn't make any efforts to get up again after Senior Zhang Yong said that. He wad thankful of him that he said that because he wouldn't be able to get up even if he try to.
"I am sorry." Senior Zhang Yong whispered as he saw Zhang Yong wincing with pain.
Senior Zhang Yong said that with quite low voice thinking that nobody would be able to hear it but Zhang Yong still heard it.
He realized what Senior Zhang Yong meant all the time. Why he was feeling this guilty and kept on saying sorry to him, Zhang Yong understood every thing now.
But when he got all that he frowned. Why was Senior Zhang Yong even saying sorry to him. It's not his duty to protect him and Zhang Yong got in all this by himself.
It wasn't even a little bit Senior Zhang Yong's fault in all this so why was he feeling guilty? Zhang Yong was getting all these thoughts.
He took a deep breath as he finally decided to reply to him, "It wasn't your fault. It's not your duty to protect me. You weren't the one who got me in all this so why you saying sorry?"
Senior Zhang Yong frowned and didn't reply to him any further, he didn't want to argue with him for now because he knew he was already too weak. He shouldn't be stressing him more.
If he would argue about that matter Zhang Yong would definitely take stress and this would not be good for him. Seeing him in that situation was just making Senior Zhang Yong more guilty.

He didn't even know how to heal Zhang Yong or even gave him first aid. He wanted to help him but he didn't know a thing about taking care of some one.
Zhang Yong never from his childhood took care of some one except his girlfriend let alone give some one first aid nor he ever bothered to learn it. But now he was just regretting all that.
He should have learned to give some one first aid in a situation like that but today when he needed that he was just blank.
Senior Zhang Yong was sitting near the bush. He kept on looking here and there to see if any one was coming there or not
Senior Zhang Yong and Zhang Yong could hear the fast beatings coming from their hearts and both of them felt warmth while in each other's embrace.
The car finally came to a halt.
Kay let go of Zila and came out of the car.
He was just about to pick Zila in his arms when suddenly Zila picked her hand up in front of him, gesturing him to stop and he did.
Her whole body was sore yet she didn't let her guard down now and didn't let him pick her as she knew she would get weak after having any type of contact with Kay.
She got out of the car on her own.
When her feet touched the ground she felt a different sensation running through her body.
Her wrists and ankles also soothed because of the air touching them gently.
She was about to fell down when her legs gave up but in an instant Kay moved towards her and provided her support by giving her his hand.
She also held it and started to walk with him.
Zila's, all weight was on Kay while she was walking with the help of her own legs.
Kay and Zila were just about to enter the hospital when all of a sudden a gun shot sound was heard.
Zila moved her head and saw the bullet coming towards Kay without thinking anything, she came in front of Kay.
She stumbled and Kay held her but she was able to come in front of Kay.
Kay was shocked at her actions but the next thing he saw broke everything and he was left with nothing again.

Zila got shot and just in a second blood started to ooze out of her body.
All the world came shattering down for Kay and he felt like everything ended.
His whole world was destroyed.
There was complete silence beside him as he wasn't able to hear anything but in reality every one was yelling and protecting both of them.
Some men came in front of them with their guns to protect them when Landen called out Kay and he finally got out of his trance.
"Kay, take her to hospital now!"
Zila was laying, lifelessly in Kay's arms.
He finally came in reality and picked her up now in bridal style.
He panicked now and started to run like a mad man while running inside the hospital.
A tear fell out of his eyes as he was running and he didn't even realize it.
Zila was already unconsciously when she got shot and that got Kay more worried.
Some nurses came running towards him and asked him to let Zila lay on the bed so that they could take her to the emergency ward but Kay wasn't willing to let her go.
He finally put her down on the bed and the nurses took her away in an instance.
His eyes never left Zila until she was no more in his vision.
Kay saw the blood on his hands and shivered badly.
Unconsciously he fell down on the floor and held his head really hard.
He pulled his hair and his scalp started to burn but he ignored everything and just sat while leaning on the wall in the hall where there was no person seen.
The sadness drained through him rather than skating over his skin.
He sat there, dominated by a profound sadness, fatigue engraved on his worn face. He remembered his loss, it was another cut to his already damaged mind.
His sadness and helplessness can be described like death by a thousand paper cuts, for every time he remembered his loss it was another cut to his already damaged mind.
In all this sadness of his there is no past or future, just living by the moment. Every day is measured from the moment of waking into this new reality.
He was waiting for any doctor to come out and tell him that his Zila, his wife was okay and nothing happened to her.
Kay wasn't able to protect her. He wanted to protect her and when he thought that she was already safe then something like this happened and his world shattered.
Kay was accusing himself for not being able to protect Zila. He was guilty because of that and wanted to kill himself.
She wouldn't have been shot if she wouldn't have come in front of him.
She protected him and it was sure for him that she still loved him that's why she let herself get shot.
She didn't even care about her life and gave her everything to Kay and that was the thing for Kay to feel more and more guilty and he got engrossed in those emotions too much now.
His mind was shut down and the only feeling he felt at that time was sadness.
Soon he saw a girl in a doctor's uniform walking inside the emergency ward.
The doctor was now in and soon the operation started. There were many wounds on Zila's body and it was making it hard for them to continue their work.
Kay had some tears in his eyes. He always thought that crying for someone is really stupid but today he was the one who was crying now for his wife, his Zila, his every thing. He wasn't able to keep himself together and was completely broke.
The thought was haunting him that what will happen to Zila now.
He murmured to himself praying for his wife.
"Zila, please be okay. I am so sorry. I am sorry for every thing I ever did to you please forgive me and don't leave me. Don't leave me alone, don't leave me with this guilt. I will die without you. If you leave me I will also not wait for a minute and will die. Please God don't give me this type of punishment. Please save my Zila and don't take her away from me."
A voice boomed in the empty hall as Kay's eyes went up to find the owner of the sound. "Kay"

Path of Righteousness
What do you desire? What are you afraid of? You run away from one, pursuing the other. Is that all you are? Conquer your fears. Dig to the bottom and confirm, what you really want... ...For you cannot escape suffering and death. You only have a little time. Use it wisely. Uru, a young boy with no talent for magic or fighting, sets out on a quest to become an avatar of order, the physical embodiment of righteousness, in a distant future, where control of origin energy allows people to defy physics and manipulate causality. Mocked by fate and broken by impossible dreams, all that's left is to stand in defiance to cruel existence. Because there is a Truth out there, somewhere. Singular, transcendent, eternal. What would you sacrifice for it? *** This is a fantastic sci-fi epic. It's going to blend both western and eastern traditional fantasy tropes – like might & magic and cultivation – with rational sci-fi grounded fully in reality, to produce a purely fictional fairy tale. I'd like to deliver something light-hearted and yet wholly serious. An uplifting adventure exploring the unfathomable reaches of humanity, free of indecency, with a healthy dose of humorous banter, legendary beings, and most importantly – lots of exciting, firework-filled mayhem! I've tried reading many web novels, but there's a fundamental problem with them – the eastern ones are annoyingly repetitive, superficial and morally destitute, while western ones are often dark, convoluted and profane. There's only so much one can do to filter out the bad and try to fill in the gaps with their own imagination. It's one thing to eat tasty fast food, but if it's moldy and filled with toxins, then it's not only poisonous, but also disgusting. The appreciation of beauty and higher values is disappearing at an alarming rate. Although there are throngs of talented people out there, none of them are creating what I want to witness – an inspiring battle against impossible odds, ending in absolute victory. A triumph of the spirit so overwhelming, it crushes the spectator into his seat and takes his breath away. I'm looking for a real paragon, so now I'd like to try conceiving one. *** The MC's name comes from Tolkien's Elven dictionary in Silmarillion, 'Uru' meaning 'Fire', and 'Dagnir an Uruloki' meaning 'Slayer of Dragons'. *** Note: I'm neither a native speaker, nor an aficionado of literature – I've never written anything before, and despite proficient English my literary prowess is abysmal. It therefore takes me a painful amount of effort to polish the chapters and bring them up to par. Last year I wrote and posted some on FictionPress, but I stopped since it wasn't going anywhere. The appalling amount of filth and mediocrity being peddled in all the media nowadays – a result of no conspiracy to manipulate the masses, but plain supply and demand – is no longer just the triumph of form over substance, but most worryingly corruption of the latter. Who wants to read about ideals anymore? And yet, masses flock together to gobble up perversion and depravity. That being said, I can't rule out pitiful exposure as the culprit to my failure, so I am now once again trying to increase it here, possibly for the last time. If there are still human beings present, hungry or in need of a detox after eating too much garbage, make yourselves heard, so I can see a reason to continue the story. Otherwise it's pointless – I'm not going to make fodder for the masses, and I'm most certainly not going to throw pearls before swine. I'll simply stop writing altogether.
