Zhang Yong just couldn't breathe anymore, it felt as if someone was choking him hard. His heart was racing and all he wanted to do was curl up into a ball and wait for someone to save him. But no one would, no one was there.
A choked cry for help forced itself up his throat, and he felt a drop run down his cheek. It seemed as if this was the end of the road for him.
Now screams were heard from outside and Zhang Yong too started to scream not caring if some one would come and kill him there too like those other demons.
Screaming was the only thing he could do at that time and his fast heart relaxed a little when he let out all his frustration through yelling so he decided to yell more to keep himself awake and not break down.
From the door he could see many men lying on the floor lifeless. He knew that the place was under attack but he didn't know what would happen with him now.
Would those demons take him away with them or they would kill him too like those demons got killed.
The scene in front of him was horrible and it for sure will leave a big psychological effect on him and his mind and it would take him some time to be himself.
He was getting more and more scared when suddenly he heard a voice.
Zhang Yong was yelling while his eyes were closed tightly. He heard a familiar voice calling him and suddenly hope started filling inside him again and as he realized whose was that he immediately opened his eyes.
"Zhang! Zhang Yong!"
His eyes opened with anticipation and in an instance he found the source of that voice.
Senior Zhang Yong was standing in front of him with a big sword in his hands. His whole body was covered with blood. There were even some stains of blood on his face which he wiped them off now.
He was panting heavily and seeing his condition Zhang Yong realized immediately that it was Senior Zhang Yong who killed that demon torturing him with that whip. A wave of relief washed over his face as he got to know that the torturer was already dead.

Senior Zhang Yong's eyes now finally fell on Zhang Yong. He was shocked to see Zhang Yong's current situation. He was trembling and was near to break down but now after seeing Senior Zhang Yong, there was another hope inside him.
Senior Zhang Yong hurriedly went over to him and undid all the chains wrapped around his wrists and ankles. The burning sensation in his wrists and ankles finally got lessened when they came in contact with air.
The grip of the chains was so tight that his wrists started to burn badly. His legs were trembling so when he finally stood up on the floor, his legs gave up. He was just about to fall down when Senior Zhang Yong was fast enough and was able to catch him on time.
Zhang Yong closed his eyes, feeling the pain inside his body deeply.
"Hey! Are you okay?" Senior Zhang Yong who was holding Zhang Yong through his waist and supporting him asked with a worried look on his face.
Zhang Yong's throat was already dry from all those yellings. He still opened his mouth to reply to him even though his voice came out really little he still managed to reply to Senior Zhang Yong, "I am fine!"
"You think you would be able to get out of here by yourself?" Senior Zhang Yong asked again, seeing his current condition.
Zhang Yong only nodded his head to reply to him and then started to make some efforts to get up.
Zhang Yong took his time to stand up straight. He continued holding Senior Zhang Yong's hand until he felt like he would now be able to stand on his own.
Senior Zhang Yong also supported him and made sure that he stood up straight before finally letting go of him.
Zhang Yong also took his time to stand up and once he did he started to pant heavily because his body was paining a lot and he wasn't able to bear the pain.
Both of them now only moved out of the cell. Zhang Yong was blinking his eyes again and again to make sure he didn't get unconscious and fall there on the ground. He was stumbling while walking but still was able to walk.

Senior Zhang Yong was walking ahead of him to make sure no one was coming there. He was trying his best to get both of them out of there safely without being caught.
He remembered the route to get out of there safely and using that route they were successful in going out of there. Zhang Yong was walking quite slowly and he was getting scared if they would be even able to get out of there but they were.
As soon as they were out they went directly to the back of the house and hid begin some bushes as Senior Zhang Yong knew that Zhang Yong won't be able to walk a lot now.
Zhang Yong immediately laid down there on the ground. His legs went straight and he laid down there straight on the ground with his back upwards as his wound on the back was still hurting. He was laying there while Senior Zhang Yong sat beside him but suddenly he let that word slip out of his mouth with great difficulty, "Water!"
Zhang Yong told Senior Zhang Yong as he realized that his throat was dry and he was desperately in need of water.
Senior Zhang Yong immediately got up from the floor and went away from there. In literally five minutes Senior Zhang Yong was back with a big leaf in his hands. He was holding the leaf with both hands in such a way that the water could stay on it.
He came back near Zhang Yong as fast as he could and as soon as he was in front of him he said, "Get up!"
Zhang Yong, listening to that, opened his eyes and looked at Senior Zhang Yong from the corner of his eyes and then seeing him holding the leaf he hurriedly got up.
Zhang Yong got up from the floor and hurriedly took the leaf from Senior Zhang Yong's hands and held it in front of him.
Zila abruptly literally pulled that leaf from his hand and after looking at it for a minute, he gulped down half of the water in one go.
The remaining he enjoyed and let himself get the feeling of letting the water slip in his throat. His burning throat and grumbling stomach finally got a little satisfied.
Zhang Yong was drinking the water when suddenly Senior Zhang Yong sat beside him and his eye fell on Zhang Yong's back. He moved his hand on Zhang Yongs waist a little and felt a wet sensation.
He pulled up his hand only to see blood. His eyes widened and got worried on seeing the blood.
He realized that the blood was coming out of Zhang Yong's back and in an instance his eyes went on Zhang Yong's body.
Blood was oozing out of Zhang Yong's body now because of the whips the torturer gave him. Without waiting for a minute or even caring about any thing else, he pulled Zhang Yong's shirt to the other side a little but the next thing he saw was really horrible.
Zhang Yong's whole waist and back was filled with wounds. His eyes started to fill with rage as he moved his hands over his wounds. Zhang Yong moved and hissed with that pain.
Senior Zhang Yong abruptly moved his eyes towards Zhang Yong's face before yelling at him not before covering Zhang Yong's body with his shirt again.
"WHO DID THIS TO YOU? I SWEAR I WILL KILL THAT PERSON WITH MY BARE HANDS."
Zhang Yong had already seen blood oozing out of his body but he didn't do anything at that time as he knew that Senior Zhang Yong would be the one who would take care of him.
Even though Senior Zhang Yong was rude with him from time to time, he knew he would never see him in pain and himself would do some thing about his wounds.
Zhang Yong heaved a big sigh before saying, "The person who did this to me is already dead. Don't worry, just take care of my wounds for me for now. Everything is over now and I am back. Don't worry."
Senior Zhang Yong couldn't believe his ears. He didn't believe that Zhang Yong was the one saying this to him. He was the one who bore this much pain yet he was this calm.
He looked at Zhang Yong as if making sure if he was saying this and then he sighed before saying,....

Through Mist, Veil, and Summer
Anna Lawrence is a quiet girl who'd rather sit and write poetry than bustle about with her peers. After an incident resulting in a panic attack and a trip to the hospital, Anna's foster mother sends her to stay with her aunt and uncle for the summer. Upon arriving in the small mountain town of Glenwood, Anna finds herself caught in the machinations of another world on the other side of the fog: warring witches, animal-headed skypirates, and the boldest, bravest, most interesting girl Anna has ever met. THROUGH MIST, VEIL, AND SUMMER is my homage to Studio Ghibli films. It's a fantasy romance with a dash of adventure and a sprinkling of self-contemplation. It's a story that moves a little slower, a little quieter. It is my fourth novel, written between October 1, 2017 and January 6, 2019.
