My Four Other Selves Chapter 4

"Hello! At last, you are awake. I have been waiting for you to wake up."
Zhang Yong's eyes shot open when he heard the voice, almost as if it were resounding in his mind. 'Deja Vu
"Who..? Who is there?"
No reply came, yet he again asked, "I said, Who is there?"
He was looking to his right, but when he tried to move to the other side, he wasn't able to. Someone had wrapped a white thing around his neck.
He sighed and closed his eyes tightly in frustration, thinking that it might be his subconsciousness, but just then, the voice appeared again.
"Hello!"
He finally moved and looked here and there around the room, but this time, he felt some movement around him, and he knew there was somewhere else there too.
"Who is it?"
Just as he asked that a little head popped up. Zhang Yong was taken back and was shocked to see a bunny-like little creature with wings flying around him.
He was shocked.
"Am I dead?"
"No! No! You are not."
Zhang Yong tried to sit straight when suddenly pain shot inside his body, and he again laid down.
"Your power right now is meager, so don't try to move much." That little bunny-like thing said while coming closer to him.
Zhang Yong was startled to see that creature coming towards him, and he just couldn't help but move back.
"Huh?"
A deep frown appeared on his forehead as he let his eyes wander around the room.
"Who are you? I think I am dead, though, and this is the same dream again."
"Hehehe. Yeah! I am from your dream." That thing replied mischievously.
"Huh?"
"Let me just introduce myself formally first. Hello! I am your system avatar. I will be guiding you in this journey of yours."

He was startled and scared as he again opened his eyes, but then the voice disappeared again. He was now sure how he was hearing that voice, so he again closed his eyes, and that voice appeared again.
"Let me introduce myself! My name is Rosa. And I am your system avatar now. Hehehe"
"Okay! I get it. But are you a girl?"
"Hehehe. Don't know. Find it out." Rosa winked at him.
"OH hell! I am dreaming."
"I told you. YOU. ARE. NOT."
"I am. How can this happen in reality?"
"Oh, if you think like that, let me pinch you and see what happens."
As soon as Rosa said that, she moved towards Zhang Yong and pinched him hard on his arm.
"Ahhhh! What the heck? Are you out of your mind?"
"Hehehe. Now, do you think it's not a dream?"
Zhang Yong was somewhat believing now that it wasn't a dream, but still, he was a little suspicious.
"So, let me explain why I am here now. When you got in that accident, your soul got split due to unique circumstances, and now four of your selves had been thrown into four different worlds."
"..."
"You have to now go and collect all of them back no matter how hard that journey will be."
"And why would I do that?" Zhang Yong asked while rolling his eyes like it was apparent.
"About that, you will soon vanish away; if you don't collect them back on time, you will be gone from this world, and one of your souls will get to live in this world then."
Zhang Yong blinked his eyes several times as he wasn't able to take anything.
"I will die."
Zhang Yong said as he was flabbergasted and began to think of the worst situation possible.

He felt like his head was dizzy, and his body was soon going to give up.
Countless questions were coming into his mind, which he wanted to ask, but he couldn't ask all of them at once, so he started with the first question even though it felt odd to him from the start.
"Why are you like this?"
Rosa looked at him like he had gone stupid or what. Still, when she only saw his serious face, she heaved a big sigh before saying, "Well, let's forget about me and talk about your system first. So, let me tell you how it works and how you can look at it. You can press the vein of your left wrist, and the system will be shown to you on your arm."
Zhang Yong rolled his eyes, not believing a single word of what she said. Nevertheless, he decided to try that.
He moved a little and tried to reach his left wrist with his right hand.
"AHHHH, my whole body is aching badly." He yelled with pain.
But Rosa gave him an unbothered look like she wasn't bothered even if he was in pain or not.
He touched his wrist where he could see the vein popping out a little, and soon a blue light appeared, and he saw a rectangular laser screen covering half of his arm.
Then his eyes went on the contents written on it and started to read every word written there.
