It was not slow either, it was quite fast, faster than him for sure as the distance between him and the King of Guardian Fish shortened.

"Shen! Wait for me! The fish is chasing us! Help me, Shen!" Ming yelled desperately. He did not want to die. It took him a week to reach level 23. He did not want to die and lose a level here.

Shen heard his friend's cry but nothing he could do to help. He turned his head around. He made a quite distance from Ming. Thanks to his class that gave him a bonus Agility and also he focused his status point on Agility. Shen ran much faster than Ming. Then he remembered a saying, the way to escape from a bear.

"You don't have to run faster than a bear, but you must run faster than your friend," Those words were kinda true. To escape from the King of Guardian Fish, he did not have to outrun it. He just needed to run faster than his friend. However, Shen had no heart to abandon his friend. He stopped running and turned around.

Ming saw his friend stopped running. He thought Shen had a way to get away from the monster so he did not stop. He kept running.

Shen stayed there before he dashed toward a different direction. However, to his surprise, the King of Guardian Fish kept chasing Ming instead of chasing him, "Ming! It keeps chasing after you!" The aggro was still on Ming.

Shen quickly realized why the King of Guardian Fish was still chasing after Ming. It was because Ming attacked the King of Guardian Fish earlier so the monster's aggro was still on Ming. As Ming ran toward the village, he tried to call Shen but the latter did not answer his call, "Did he die?" He muttered and ran toward the village. He dashed into the village and found Brother Jiang and ZhenZhen on the table while Dale and Yue were doing squats, "He's not back yet?" He called out.

Ming returned in a hurry and the others immediately looked at him, "He? Who are you talking about?" Brother Jiang asked back, then he realized that Ming went hunting with Runner. So he must be asking about Runner, "Are you talking about Runner?"

"Yes!" Ming nodded his head. Brother Jiang and the others made a confused expression, "What are you talking about? Didn't you go hunting with Runner? He should be with you,"

Ming released a long sigh while he was slightly relieved. If Shen had not respawned yet, that meant the King of Guardian Fish had not killed him yet. That was good news but now that guy went missing.

Ming came over to the table and told them what happened, "Boss Monster?" ZhenZhen blurted out.

"Yes, maybe we hunted too many Guardian Fish so the boss appeared," Ming nodded, "He does not respawn yet so Runner is still alive. I will try to call him," he took the initiative to call Shen. He felt bad if his friend died for him, especially since Shen had been helping him a lot.
