Noob Player Chapter 68

Ming and Dale were moving the gaming pod together. Fortunately, Dale's gaming pod was the expensive bunch, the Diamond Edition. It was actually much lighter than the other gaming pods just like how Sky advertised it. They did not have to suffer to carry the gaming pod through the stairs as they could stuff it on the elevator.
"Shen will be surprised when he sees you here," Ming let out a chuckle as he leaned his back against the cool stainless wall. Even though it was much lighter, it was still heavy for the two of them, "By the way, why don't you hire people to move the pod?"
Yes, Dale was moving right next to the same building as Shen. Coincidentally, the apartment room next to Shen's apartment room was empty. He immediately booked the place and rented it for a year.
"I am actually in a hurry when you guys tell me there was a guy who joined the hidden village three days ago. So I kinda forgot to make an appointment with the delivery service," Dale made a silly smile at his friend.
"So how is it? Can you tell me now? You are so cautious to not even dare to talk it out in the car," Dale asked Ming. He was asking about the way to get to the hidden village.
"Can you wait a little longer? We are in the elevator right now, I am afraid there's a recording tape in this elevator." Ming was looking around at the elevator cautiously.
Dale rolled his eyes at his friend, but he gave up. He knew Ming well; the guy would not tell him no matter how hard he tried. He gave up persuading the stubborn Ming, they were close to his apartment anyway.
Ding!
The elevator door opened. As the two were about to carry the gaming pod, there was a woman standing in front of the elevator. The two guys recognized her and she also recognized the two.

"You are Shen's friends, right?" Yu Mei asked the two as she recalled these two often visited Shen when he was hospitalized.
"Sister Mei!" Dale called her out while waving his hand excitedly at her. As for Ming, he bowed his head slightly, "Hello, Sister Mei."
"Yes, I am Dale, do you still remember me?" Dale walked away from the gaming pod and was about to hug Yu Mei. Before he could reach her, Ming pulled his ear, "What are you doing, do you want to move your pod alone?"
"Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!" Dale tried to break free from Ming, but he maintained his smile at Sister Mei.
Yu Mei smiled and gave them the path. The two guys then brought the gaming pod toward the direction of Shen's room, "Is that Shen's gaming pod?" She remembered that these two did not stay here.
"No, this is my gaming pod, Sister Mei. I will be living next to Shen's apartment from today onward!" Dale answered while carrying the pod. Yu Mei followed them and asked, "Did Shen with you guys? I tried to call him, but he did not pick up his phone."
"Ah, Shen must be still in the hospital. He said he would visit Eunha," Ming was the one who replied this time. "I see," Yu Mei also knew Shen's little friend.

Meanwhile, Shen was in the taxi, on the way back to his apartment. He was looking at the window in a daze. He was still thinking about Eunha's fate. He still could not believe that her parents abandoned her.
'Why?' He kept asking himself. Why would they give birth to a little girl then abandon her like that? He thought Eunha's parents were busy with their work and would pick her up after they were done with their work. However, they did not even pick up the call. Shen tried to call her parents' number.

The call connected but when he brought up Eunha, they immediately closed the call. He tried to call them again but his number was immediately blocked. At this point, Shen was pretty clear that Eunha was abandoned by her parents.
"Hah…" He let out a sigh and noticed that the taxi had stopped, "We have arrived, little brother." Shen heard the driver's voice.
Shen opened the door, but then the driver reminded him again, "You haven't paid me yet, little brother." Only then snapped out of his thoughts and smiled apologetically at the driver, "I am sorry, Uncle. I don't have cash-" Shen did not finish his words as the driver showed his phone with a barcode for Shen to scan.
Shen scanned the barcode. After the scan succeeded, the driver said something to Shen, "It's okay little brother. There are many beauties outside there, don't get stuck with one girl who does not appreciate you. You should look for the girl who appreciates you." After saying that, the driver closed the window. He honked once before the car left the area.
The driver misunderstood him, maybe because he sighed too many in the car. Shen shook his head and looked up at his apartment building. He walked inside, when he was about to reach the entrance, he looked back. He noticed the black sedan car was parked across the road, "I wonder whose car is that?" he muttered as he entered the apartment building.
He always noticed the black sedan car that was parked across the road. Shen had asked the other tenants and the owner of the building, but they did not know as well. It was a mystery why the black sedan car could be found quite often across the road. It had been a few years.
He tried to approach the car and the one who came out was a man with a big build, wearing a black suit. The man was probably a retired fighter or even a soldier. After that day, Shen no longer dared to knock on the car. He was not going to trouble himself.
Shen threw the thought into the back of his head as he pressed the elevator button. Eunha's problem was still lingering in his head. The problem was not adoption or the orphanage, but how the little girl faced the issue of being abandoned by her parents. He was afraid that he would collapse once she knew that her parents abandoned her.
When Shen arrived on his floor, the elevator door opened and was a little bit surprised to see the three people beyond the door. Sister Mei, Ming, and Dale, "Yo Shen!"
"Why are you guys here?" Shen was asking Dale and Ming.
Dale grinned at Shen, "I am your new neighbor. Are you surprised?"
"Oh." That was Shen's reaction and nodded, "I am surprised."
"What's with that reaction," Dale was unsatisfied with the reaction, but Ming cut him off before Dale could complain any further, "Have you eaten, yet? Do you want to join us? Dale is going to treat us at Uncle Hou's stall?"
Shen shook his head as he let out a sigh, "I am pass!" he shook his head and walked past the three, "I am going to shower."
Dale was about to call Shen but Yu Mei stopped him, "Let him be, there's something that bothers him. He just returned from the hospital, maybe…" Yu Mei walked into the elevator immediately as she took out her phone, "Do you want to go or?" Ming and Dale entered the elevator, both were starving. They would talk to Shen later.

One day though, while they are attacked by a mysterious warrior, a single Abyss Watcher is suddenly pulled through a tear in reality, transported to a new world. A world with a strange thing called a leveling system. Current update schedule: Tuesday 10:00 PM NZT Idea I had of an Abyss Watcher from Dark Souls 3 being transported into a LitRPG world. You don't have to know any of the lore from Dark Souls to understand this, however if you want to know more about the lore just google it or something, I can't stop you But it's not like it will be very useful in this story as I plan to not be focused on Dark Souls Lore. As a side note for those reading this while it is ongoing, I will occasionally go back to previous chapters and sometimes add certain elements to the skills and leveling. Not to worry though as I will tell you as to what I have edited in the authors notes, so be sure to pay attention to those when they appear as they may contain information required for continued understanding. Also, if you decide to drop this book then please leave a comment on the chapter you stopped on and tell me what made you stop.
