Noob Player Chapter 60

The Second Noob, that was what Ming called on the forum after his clip of working out got posted on the forum. People called him Maniac Working out and also the Second Noob. Why? Because people deemed him as useless for wasting his time by working out.
The other players were hunting the monsters and raced in the level ranking yet this one was working out every day. In other words, Ming got famous because of Shen's advice.
ZhenZhen showed the post through the game interface. Shen rarely read on the forum. Only when the player he subscribed to posted a post as he got the notification. Aside from that, he rarely paid attention to the trend. He wholly focused on the training as well, just like Ming.
Shen smiled widely when he read the post. There was a clip of Ming who kept running even though his face was red. In the comment section, he could see that Ming's face had become an emote too. It could be said that Ming was more famous than him now.
"GHARHRHHH!" A scream resounded from the house. It was Ming's scream. ZhenZhen and Shen looked toward the house.
"Runner, you don't tell him about the statue, don't you?" ZhenZhen immediately realized what happened inside the house. If Runner did not tell her about the statue, she would scream too.
"He ran inside before I could tell him anything. That's his fault," Shen shrugged, pretending it was not his intention to not tell Ming about the statue.

"What did you say, Brat? Ghost?" The shirtless old man scolded while pointing his index finger at Ming who was getting corned at the corner of the house.
Ming's eyes kept glancing to the door, trying to sneak out of the house. However, the shirtless old man did not give Ming a chance to escape.

"How could you don't recognize the greatest Hunter in the Eternal Wind City!" The old man's voice was loud and echoed in the room. The old man had refined muscle with thick biceps. With the big six-packs and also broad chest, the old man had a strong build. The bronze skin told Ming that the old man was often being exposed to the sun.
'Wait, he is a Hunter, not an Archer?' Ming realized that this might not be the class he wanted. He scanned the old man from the top to bottom. The old man's clothes reminded him of the Japanese's kimono, but the old man did not close the upper part.
"You really don't know me, Young'un?" The old man toned down his voice and asked Ming with a solemn look.
Ming shook his head fiercely as he truly did not know who the old man was.

In the respawn spot, ZhenZhen and Shen were sitting on the bench while waiting for Ming. It had been twenty minutes but Ming had not come out yet from the house. It took longer than ZhenZhen.
"Do you think it's possible for failing to get the class? There's some sort of test, right?" ZhenZhen asked worriedly. Even though it was not like a real test, but her Teacher asked something to know about her before she decided whether she was the right person to her successor or not. She was worried that Ming's personality was not the person inside the house's liking and failed to inherit the legacy.
Shen never thought about the possibility of failing to get the class. He thought that once Ming chose the house, Ming would get the class automatically. He started to get worried about Ming.
"Did the Elder test you?" Shen asked ZhenZhen as he tried to recall what happened to him back then. There was no test, at all. Yosu just offered the class to him after he heard the story from the old man.

"No, It's not an actual test, but she asked me about something before she decided to choose me to be her successor," ZhenZhen explained, "Your friend is probably fine, don't worry."
Shen would roll his eyes if they were close enough, but they did not. She just said something that made him worry and now she said it would be fine.

Meanwhile, Ming sat on the floor, listening to the boisterous old man's story about his past. The old man's name was Yomu. He boasted that he was the best hunter in the Eternal Wind City. Ming knew that the Eternal Wind City was where Shen respawned.
The old man told how he hunted ten meters tall bear. Not only that, but he said that he had seen a giant eagle. But the old man said that he did not dare to hunt the eagle because he did not want to court the disaster for his party.
"The giant eagle was around fifteen meters long and its wingspan reaches thirty meters!" The old man was mesmerized by his story. Ming was looked at the old man in a daze. It had been thirty minutes, yes, he had been listening to the old man for thirty minutes.
"Its eyes showed the wisdom, meaning that eagle is an intelligent beast and to our surprise, it noticed us. It was fortunate that the giant eagle did not attack us back then. It just flew away," Yomu ended the story with a longing smile.
"Where did you meet this giant eagle?" Curious, Ming asked. If the giant eagle was around this village, they had to be careful to not piss it off. If they did, the giant eagle might wipe the village. Based on Shen's information, the village was the only shelter in this place.
"I encountered the giant eagle in the north of the Eternal Wind City, The Forbidden Wind Forest!" Yomu told Ming with a serious look, "Like its name, it was forbidden for us to enter the forest but we went there anyway. Then the City Lord found out about it and I was taking all the responsibility hence I entered the God Burial!"
Ming was relieved when he heard that. That meant they did not have to worry about a giant eagle attacked the village.
"How is it? Are you interested to be a Hunter? Young'un?" Yomu had a wide smile as he asked Ming.
Ming's eyes widened as a smile blossomed on his face, 'Finally, this is the time for my Legendary Class!' he was screaming inside.
"I am interested!" Ming nodded excitedly, causing the old man Yomu to smile while nodding approvingly, "You have the foundation, so I don't mind taking you as my successor."
[Yomu the Master Hunter has offered her legacy! Accept/Decline?]

[The Master Hunter's Legacy]
Class: Hunter Successor
Potential: Epic Potential
——————————
Even though Ming wanted to be an Archer, he did not mind having Hunter as his class. From what he had seen, there was no archer class in this village. Hunter was his best choice. Hunting monsters to get the loot and money, his main purpose of playing the game since he had chosen the combat class.
'But this is Epic Class, not Legendary Class?' He thought to himself. Shen told him that his class was Legendary Potentia. Of course, Epic was not bad too, it was just below the Legendary Class.
Ming accepted the class without hesitation.
