Noob Player Chapter 20

The head of the Vyphrian Family who was also the lord of Eternal Wind City forced Yosu to stay despite his unwillingness.
"He threatened me with my family! That bastard said that he will kill all my family!" The Old Man vented his anger on the wooden floor. He slammed the wooden floor hard.
"But why? Why would the Lord antagonize you instead of roping you to join his force?" Shen could not understand with the sudden twist. Should not the Lord persuade Yosu to stay instead of forcing him to stay, let alone threaten the strongest swordsman in the city?
"Right? He should entice or persuade me to work under him, but he did not! That old bastard is not sane," The Old Man was annoyed too, it could be seen from his expression, "That old fart was afraid that I will join the other family of the other city, that was why he did not want me to leave the city."
The Old Man vented out his frustration. Yosu then followed Lord's order to not leave the city. But because of their estranged relationship, the Lord was afraid that Yosu would turn against him. This was what outraged the old man the most.
He was forced to enter the giant crevice. At that time, the Giant Crevice did not have a name yet. Shen remembered only after the third group entered the portal that the giant crevice was named God Burial.
It was the same threat, his family's lives at stake. However, Yosu did not retaliate or against anything with the Lord. He agreed with the Lord to enter a giant crevice. He would rather explore the dangerous crevice than being restrained in the city.
"If it's your choice–" Shen did not finish his words as the old man interrupted him, "Why would I angry with the Vyphrian Family? That's because they forced me to make this choice! Why would I enter the dangerous crevice if I can go through a safe path to go to another city?"

Shen could not deny that. Even though Yosu entered the crevice willingly, it was indeed a forced voice.
"I entered the crevice with the strongest Zephyr Knight who was defeated by me and also an excellent cook who refused to be Royal Cook. Those two are in the same circumstance as me," the old man shook his head.
"I see…" Shen nodded his head. So the story was false. This surprised Shen because he knew the story from the official site. Ten Wonders, that was the name of the story, and Ten Wonders were the same giant crevice in a similar size in the game.
'Does this mean the old man will issue me a quest? Does he want me to avenge him against the Vyphrian Family?' Shen guessed that he would receive a quest from the old man, a vengeance quest.
"Young Man, what do you think about swordsmen?" The old man suddenly asked him. It was so random, not related to the story, but he knew that he would receive the quest soon.
"I…" he wanted to compose a sophisticated paragraph as his response to impress the old man, but he decided to be honest, "I don't know much about swordsmen, but I like swords more than other weapons."
Yosu let out a chuckle, "You are quite honest, I like you. Then if you can become a swordsman, what kind of swordsman do you want to become?"
"Speed! I want to focus on my speed and become the fastest in the world, not the fastest swordsman, but the fastest in the world that no one can rival me in the term speed!" Shen answered without hesitation. He did not lie, that was what he tried to achieve in the game.
Yosu was surprised upon hearing the answer, he was not expecting such an answer. Usually, people would answer with "I want to be the strongest swordsman!" Or "To protect his family, kingdom, or something precious."

However, the young man in front of him wanted to be the fastest in the world. It was for sure a unique answer. A few moments later, Yosu laughed aloud, "Hahahaha…"
It took some time before the old man stopped laughing, "Young man, I don't know how you can arrive here, but it seems fate led you to me, do you want to accept this old man's legacy?"
It was a straightforward offer, Yosu did not bother with a boring chit-chat. At the same time, Shen received a notification.
Ding!
[Yosu the Void Sword has offered his legacy, Accept/Decline?]

[The Unknown Swordsmeister's Legacy]
Class: Yosu Legatee
Potential: Legendary Class
——————————
Shen's eyes widened when he saw the potential. The class had the potential to be Legendary Class. It was the highest grade class in the game, at least that was what Sky told the players in the official.
The class was differentiated into four grades, Common Class, Unique Class, Epic Class, and Legendary Class. Players could learn Common Class from the instructor in the city or a unique guild such as Assassin Guild founded by the NPC.
In fact, Common Class had unlimited potential. It depended on the players how to grow the class which the information was still unknown since one had to be level twenty to get a class.
'Wait a minute, I am level one, how can I get the class? Is this a bug too?' Shen came to a realization that he was just level one. He was supposed to not be able to get a class.
It indeed had the potential of Legendary Class, but he did not immediately accept it. The old man did not say anything about what he should do in exchange for the legacy.
From the story, the old man would ask him to destroy the Vyphrian Family or even the Eternal Wind City. If that was the case, he would never be able to finish the quest.
Shen planned to be a lone wolf, he did not want the same thing repeated when he played the Universe Online. He did not want to grieve the other players by playing with him, again.
A lone man against a big force of a city, it was almost impossible to finish the quest. If he could not finish the quest, he would not be able to receive the complete legacy. This class might be a trap for him. He had to be careful.
