Shen checked out the fridge, but there was nothing left he could use to make a dish, "Should I order food instead?" He forked out his Orange and was about to open the app, but he remembered the newly-opened Malatang stall.

The uncle who helped him yesterday, and the stall was not that far from his apartment. It was a couple of minutes walking.

He went out, maybe it was a new stall so people did not know yet there was a new stall opened. He entered the stall, Uncle Hou was sitting behind the counter with a girl around 4 on his lap. Shen assumed that because the girl had a smaller build than Eunha.

"Evening, Uncle Hou~" Shen greeted Uncle Hou brightly as he approached the counter. There were too many things that he was confused to choose, "Give me a bowl of hotspot style, Uncle Hou. And I want these two skewers too!" He pointed at two skewers of quails eggs mixed with vegetables.

He did not order the meat skewer because he knew that he would get some meat from the set he ordered.

"Right away, Little Yang…" Uncle Hou paused for a moment, wondering if he was acting too friendly, "It's okay right for me to call you–"

"It's fine," Shen shook his head while taking a seat closest to the counter.

Uncle Hou put his daughter on the seat while he prepared the order. The little girl was looking at him with her bright eyes, she curiously stared at him. Shen smiled back at the little girl while waving his hand at her.

He thought her reaction would be the shy girl one. To his surprise, she came down from the chair and walked toward him. It was a surprise that the girl was not shy in front of the stranger. She sat across from him.

"Brother, you look handsome," Shen was flabbergasted as soon as he heard that delicate voice say those words. She looked younger than Eunha, but that was not something that should come from this little girl.

"Don't tease the customer, Lin Lin!" Her father yelled from behind the counter. Lin Lin shook her head, "I am not teasing him, Daddy. I am just stating a fact, he is handsome and I do believe that he will get beauty for his wife in the future."

The little girl was like a fortune-teller that read his future. His delicate angelic voice almost made him believe her.

It took him some time to gain his composure before he giggled. He was not offended as it was more compliment for him, "Thank you, little girl."

"I am not a little girl, I have a name too, handsome brother," Lin Lin cast a serious gaze at Tang Shaoyang, "My name is Hou Lin, but I allow the handsome brother to call me Lin Lin."

The girl had long black hair draped to her back and a pony coveted her forehead. Her radiant and round black eyes added cuteness to her features.

"My name is not handsome brother either, I am Yang Shen. But you can call me Brother Yang or Brother Shen, but Handsome Brother actually is not bad too," He smiled back at Lin Lin.

"Nope, I am not going to call you that in public, it's awkward and embarrassing," Lin Lin shook her head, there was a little expression on her face since they started the conversation, he felt that he was talking to an adult than a kid because kids usually expressive, "How do you know my Daddy opened a food stall here, Brother Shen?"

Shen smiled as he told her yesterday's incident where he forced himself to run. The little girl nodded her head with her expressionless face. Even though she did not say anything, he could feel that she was saying, 'I see…'

"I am sorry if my daughter is bothering you, here you are," Uncle Hou came with a steaming bowl and put it in front of Tang Shaoyang. He saw the red broth, tofu ball, soft tofu, little noodles, meat, lotus root, lettuce, and Chinese cabbage on top.

The vegetable gave a freshness to the thick and a little oily broth. He identified at least two different meats in the bowl: pork or beef and chicken. The steaming bowl was so appetizing in Shen's eyes.

"I put extra meat for you, Little Yang. Enjoy your meal~" Uncle smiled at Shen.

For the first time, Shen noticed a change of expression on Lin Lin's face. She frowned at her father before looking at his bowl.

"Let's go, don't disturb Brother Yang," Uncle Hou was about to bring Lin Lin with him, but he noticed the girl was reluctant to leave the table. She seemed to have something that she had not achieved by coming to his table.

'Huh, you are quite easy to read, Lin Lin,' the little girl rarely had an expression on her face, so he quickly noticed the subtle change in her expression. It was completely different from Eunha who was expressive about her feelings.

"It's okay, Uncle Hou. I would like to have company while eating. I am fine with her with me here," Sure enough, he noticed the girl's eyes brightened up. She was making a face of, "See, Brother Yang says it's fine," to her father.

Uncle Hou shook his head helplessly as he went back to his chair while Lin Lin stayed on the table.

Shen proceeded with his food. He cut the soft tofu with his chopstick and scooped it with the red broth. The soft texture and the spicy broth invaded his taste bud.

"Is it good?" The little girl asked him. He nodded his head in response as he took a bite of his lotus root.

"Brother Yang, do you have friends?" All of sudden, Lin Lin asked him while he was enjoying the bowl of delicacy. The question was out of context.

"I have friends," Shen nodded his head, Ming, Dale, the nurses in the hospital? He had only a handful of friends, he just realized that.

"Will you bring your friends to eat here?" By this question, Shen realized what the girl was trying to achieve. She was trying to rope in more customers for her father.

Shen laughed upon realizing her purpose for coming to him and praising him by calling him, handsome brother. The girl approached him with a hidden goal, "I don't have a lot of friends, but yeah, I will bring them here when I have the time."

For the first time that Lin Lin was smiling like someone at her age. At this point, it was too obvious for Shen to not notice it, 'What adorable little girl. Maybe she can be a good friend to Eunha.'

Shen rubbed Lin Lin's hair, "You are very smart."

It was quite a nice dinner for someone who always ate alone. When he arrived at his apartment, he went to the fridge and got an apple. He washed the apple and directly ate it without peeling it. He quickly finished the apple and he went to his room.

"Director Guan of Sky's China branch said he rewarded me for reporting the bug, I wonder what kind of reward it is," Shen was logging in with a high expectation.

However, the expectation burst out in a bubble as soon as he entered the game. He remembered that he logged out in mid-air of falling into the God Burial. He thought he would be regarded as dead and resurrected into the spawn spot. But it was not the case, he was still falling.

"ARGHHHHH!!!" Shen screamed out of his lungs.
