Noob Player Chapter 15

Bringing the brown monkey doll on her embrace, Eunha was walking together with Shen. Shen held her hand to make sure that she did not run off from him.
They walked around for ten minutes until he noticed beads of sweat on her forehead. They rested in the hut in the park. There were a few huts in the park, they went to the closest one.
While sitting on the bench, Eunha's eyes never stopped scanning around. It was so clear that on her face the little girl was so excited to go outside, even though it was just a park in the hospital.
He could not imagine what if she was staying in her house alone without her parents. The incident that caused her to be sent back was because of her parent's negligence. She has no one to talk with, so of course, she would do something hyper that she never had the chance to before.
'Wait a minute, maybe, she can play the game too? But she had a weak heart, can she play the game?' It was a good idea, but it had a hidden danger for her, 'But wait, what I am thinking about! She can't play the game yet as she has to be at least 13 or older to play Tribe Online. Sky will not allow her to play the game.'
Shen found the idea was not feasible for the little girl. However, Virtual Reality might be her chance to play around freely.
After resting on the bench for a while, Eunha started to pull him again to walk around the park. It was no surprise if people thought that the two were actual siblings. They were truly like a brother and a sister.
Half an hour was quickly spent, it was time for Tang Shaoyang for his appointment, "I have to go, Eunha. I have an appointment with Doctor Lu to check my knee."

The little girl's expression fell, not only the time she spent outside was over, but she had to part with Yang Shen too, "I wish you were my brother…" she muttered in Korean. Shen heard that, but he did not understand what she was talking about.
"What? Do you want something for me to bring in the next visit?" He assumed Eunha wanted something for the next visit. The little girl shook her head, "No… I am okay."
They walked together toward the building. Shen thought that Eunha looked down because the time to play outside was over, "It's okay, I will ask your doctor so we can play outside again on the next visit," he tried to console the Eunha.
They had known each other for over two years, but he still did not understand the kid enough to realize what caused Eunha down like this. She was the only kid he was close with, after all.
When they reached the entrance to the building, Eunha stopped her steps, "What's wrong, Eunha? Do you want to play more?" He thought the little girl did not want to return to her limited space of ward after playing outside for half an hour.
Eunha shook her head, "No, but can I…" she stopped halfway, 'Will he take me as a nuisance if I say I want to follow him to the appointment? I don't want that to happen, but I don't want to part with him too,' the little girl had such a thought despite her age. She was afraid that Shen was not going to play with her anymore, she had insecurity despite how young she was.
"We can play more later, okay?" Shen rubbed his chin, his schedule for a check-up was Monday, and it was Friday now. He could skip the check-up on Monday since he did a check-up today, "I will come on Monday too, so we can still play more later."

He noticed the girl's eyes brightened up, she nodded her head but then she shook her head again. This only got him even more confused.
"Can I follow you to your appointment before you send me back…" the tone she used to speak was almost to the point of pleading. Eunha then noticed the change on Shen's face, she misunderstood that as she immediately followed with a somewhat panicky voice, "It's okay if Oppa doesn't want me to follow you, it's already time for me to take a nap too."
Shen was surprised, and Eunha misunderstood his surprised expression. The little girl tried to pull him into the building, but he pulled her back and squatted in front of her, "Do you want to go with me to meet Doctor Lu?"
Eunha nodded her head, "Alright, then but with one condition, I have to carry you, okay?" He might be overcautious, but it was better safe than sorry. The little girl nodded her head excitedly as she raised her hand. Shen picked her up, and they went to his doctor.
*** ***
Lu Weiyan, 32, the doctor who was in charge of Yang Shen's surgery. He was quite a famous doctor in the hospital, young, handsome, and rich. Typical men where women would flock to, alas, Lu Weiyan was taken. He had married, she was a beauty that even a girl would feel that the two were a heaven-made couple.
Now, Shen was sitting across from the Doctor, holding a portrait of his knee's x-ray. He and Eunha were quite nervous, just like a high-schooler waiting for the test result.
"Mnnn, it's still fine. Maybe you can try to run faster if you want to be hospitalized again," Doctor Lu put the portrait back to the envelope and handed it toward Shen. Shen was aware that Doctor Lu was being sarcastic, he smiled sheepishly as he received the envelope.
Eunha was relieved as she rubbed her chest. She was relieved that Shen was fine.
Doctor Lu raised his glasses and rubbed the space between his eyebrows, "It's fine, but I do hope you do not do the heavy activity for one week. If you are working up daily, better stop it temporarily, and no more jog for sure!" Lu Weiyan reminded Shen sternly.
"Tsk, tell me, Eunha. What should I do to your naughty Oppa who keeps going against his doctor? Should we punish him?" The stern expression on Doctor Lu's face disappeared as he smiled at the little girl.
"No!" Eunha hugged Shen tightly while glaring at Doctor Lu, "You can't punish Oppa Shen!"
Lu Weiyan was stunned by her reaction, causing Shen to giggle and followed by the little girl's giggle.
"You are bullying me. Alright, that's it, you can leave. I can't bear this bullying anymore by you brother and sister," Doctor Lu shooed the two away from his room while Shen and Eunha were giggling.
Shen spent another half an hour, accompanying Eunha in her ward before he left the hospital with a taxi online. He had the money to buy a car, but he did not buy it since he rarely went outside.
He went straight back to his apartment, taking a bath, and he was ready for another try of the game, "I will be playing all night for sure, let's have dinner first!"
