As the evening approached and Yang Xinyu prepared to leave for the house, he secretly ordered a take-out food for him and had it in the car before reaching the house. He was now ready for the food-assault from his wife.

Wu Lina personally served him all the food that she had made and sat down next to him.

"Baby, we have so many servants in the house, why do you have to cook food? You are not in a condition to take so much stress. Even your hand hasn't healed," he said very affectionately.

"I will do what I want to do Yang Xinyu. I have prepared four course meal for you. Been on it since a long time now. You should have it," she replied sadly.

"Yes, of course dear," and he dipped his spoon in the dumpling soup.

Noodles were next and he didn't realize when they got over. By the time, the dinner finished, Yang Xinyu had eaten so much that he felt overfull. To his surprise the food was so tasty that he couldn't stop eating.

He smiled at Wu Lina and said, "Since when did you start making such excellent food?"

Wu Lina looked at him with narrowed eyes. "I always made good food."

He nodded, smiled and without saying a word, Yang Xinyu dipped his hands in the finger bowl served by the servant. But he regretted eating the takeout food. Inside he was happy that his wife had started making good food finally!

After dinner, they went to the bedroom where he told Wu Lina, "Lina, we will be holding the board meeting soon and I want you to come to attend it."

"Sure. But when is it?" she asked.

"I am busy this week, so maybe next week," he answered looking a little worried.

"What is the agenda?"

Yang Xinyu was surprised and happy to see that Wu Lina would even ask 'agenda' question. "The usual business and also we have called the anonymous person who has bought the shares. He needs to step out of the shadows or else we will file complaint against him with the police."

"Do you know who that person is?" she was inquisitive.

"Hmm… I am not sure… but my team is still working on it. It seems he has worked hard to stay undercover otherwise it is not easy to escape our investigation."

Wu Lina nodded as she prepared to sleep. These days she couldn't even sleep on her sides. It was just too uncomfortable.

She switched off the bedside lamp, when she accidently put pressure on her injured hand. She squealed lightly.

Yang Xinyu immediately threw the blanket that covered him and rushed to her. "Wu Lina, what happened? Are you okay? Are you hurt?"

"I am fine Xinyu… just pressed this hand," she said remembering Yang Fangxu.

"How is Yang Fangxu doing these days?" she asked feeling guilty.

"I don't want to talk about her Wu Lina."

"I feel guilty for putting her in this situation…"

"She got what she deserved. She has been shipped to Tinharre Island, which is on the southernmost tip of Brazil," he said with nonchalance.

Wu Lina's was shocked to hear that. "That is cruel…"

"No! What she was cruel. Father was very kind to her. I would have been ruthless for touching my babies or you! And I don't guarantee that I won't hunt her down. She is safe until I don't remember her again," said Yang Xinyu so fiercely that Wu Lina became scared. There was no place he couldn't go to.

"Okay Xinyu, no need to jump. Sleep now," she said as she switched off the lamp.

She had a bad feeling that Yang Xinyu may do something to Yang Fangxu… He was ruthless to his mother…

They woke up early next morning as Yang Xinyu had to go to City M for the meetings. It was just a day trip.

In a shanty a man approached the masked sniper to execute the job. "I am paying you half the amount now and will pay you rest of the money once the job is done."

The sniper looked at him with an expressionless face and said coldly, "If I don't get my remaining amount as soon as I have finished the job, I will come to kill you. Remember that."

That man got frightened, but he contained his emotion and replied, "Okay, okay. However, if you fail to do the job, you won't be paid the other half and I will send other people to extract the money that I have already paid you now."

The sniper nodded and left. There was no target that he had ever missed. Although this one would be slightly difficult, he wouldn't miss it. After all it would be a feather in his cap.
