Yang Chún qiàn shook her head thinking that how could she not suspect the fact that he had allowed her to leave the hospital so fast. She looked at him as though asking him to tell more.

Yang Xinyu ate some more and chewed his food at leisure. After a moment's silence, he said, "My secretary Zhao Hai xiang had called me long back about the body guards that were stationed in front of your room. Mr. Wan had bribed so many people just to go close to you." Yang Xinyu started laughing.

"Why are you laughing?" she asked. Then she realized, "You knew that he had bribed people and still you allowed it."

"Good. You are becoming better with your logic, mother. Yes, of course I knew about it. The hospital director was asked not to intervene in any of those activities."

"Mother, I couldn't imagine that you could be so shameless to connive with Mr. Wan. It was okay with me till you tried to oust me from the company on your own. I still regarded you, even though I never came to meet you. You tried to kill Wu Lina, which was unforgivable. Hence I distanced myself from you. But I was always informed about what you were doing."

"Once you boarded the plane, my men had been trailing both of you. When I came here I knew that Mr. Wan was hiding around otherwise how would your plan see the light of the day."

"You wanted to drug me and take my video with a woman and you had even set up my room. When I had gone to the bedroom before dinner, I had noticed all of it. The first thing I did was to disconnect all the devices. The woman who was supposed to come to me for the sleazy act had been detained at the City H airport. She is behind bars and being questioned by police about her ulterior motives. I will make sure that her career ends badly."

"You gave me that tea and insisted that I should have it before it turns cold, don't you think how childish was that? And do you think that you could drug me with just one sip of tea?"

"Well, like I said, I played along with you. When you left my bedroom after helping me to lie on bed, my men entered the room from the window on my cue and they took down those two monkeys who were hiding in my room to kidnap me."

"One of them was being extra smart, as he tried to hold me down. He pointed the gun at my head and tried to hold me hostage to win his escape. But I just shot him. That was the man whom you saw lying on the floor. Even though LuShiming told me that his body should be removed from the room, I wanted to keep that body only to show you."

At this point of time Yang Xinyu was looking extremely dangerous and sinister. His eyes were cold and Yang Chún qiàn broke out into fresh sweat. Yang Xinyu got up from his chair and gave her a napkin to wipe her sweat.

"The only mistake I did was that I went to the local hospital here because I still wanted to give you benefit of doubt. When I didn't find you there, it was the last straw."

"Upon reaching here, your servants wanted to trap my security men with alcohol and women. Mr. Wan's plan was to kill all my security guards once they were drugged and his men were waiting in the shadows to finish the task. But they were in for a surprise when more of my men attacked them from behind."

"You see mother, I maintain a huge army of highly skilled mercenaries with advanced weapons. People like Mr. Wan are ants for me."

Yang Xinyu sat on the table while looking down at his mother, playing with his gun. "Mother, Wu Lina is pregnant with three babies. It would have been such a joy if you were part of our journey, as we became parents. Wu Lina doesn't have any elder woman who can take care of her during this time. Father and me are trying our best to take care of that girl. At such a young age, she has seen so trouble in her life that I just want to give her all the happiness I can think of."

"But you were always so proud and full of malice that you never let your woman come out of you. Even father had started loathing you so much that he had to confine you. Don't you think father had enough power to keep you in a confined mental hospital without anyone knowing about you?"

"Well, now it is too late!" said Yang Chún qiàn, her eyes still holding that pride. "What are you going to do with me Yang Xinyu? Will you kill me? It would be such a scandal in country's timeline." She started laughing thinking that Yang Xinyu would never take such a drastic step.

"Yang Chún qiàn, you forget something – we are far away from the civilization. I allowed you to come out of City H to your ancestral home only so I can finish this nonsense once and for all. There is no one who would hear you over here. You may shout as much as you like."

"Hence I can take any action I want to and the world will never know. For all they care, you have left City H for good. Who is bothered how you died? Oh yes – once you die, I will craft a good obituary for you – a very polished one and post it in newspapers."

"This place is sealed from all the sides. My men have surrounded this house. You can't run, you can't hide. How do you want this to look like – a suicide would be better in my opinion," said Yang Xinyu tapping that gun on his temple.

"Do you want to kill yourself, or do you want me to kill you?"
