Looking at the scene in front of him Yang Xinyu realized that Yan Xiaojun was actually into Rosa and Ivan. Did having a child made so much of a difference? How could Yan Xiaojun melt as soon as he saw his son? It reminded him of his tiny dots and immediately felt a surge of warmth passing through his body. He wanted to curl Wu Lina's belly and talk to them. He longed for his family…

Yan Xiaojun turned his attention to Yang Xinyu and said, "Where do you want me to start from?"

"From the beginning. I don't want you to leave even a single detail. Tell me everything truthfully," growled Yang Xinyu.

He wasn't feeling any pity for Yan Xiaojun, but he knew what it was to have a family and that was the only point he considered about him. He was not willing to forgive Yan Xiaojun for all the problems he had created. And hence from time to time he was suppressing his urge to punch him and take out his gun to shoot him. With a lot of effort, Yang Xinyu calmed his mind and sat down on the chair behind him with clenched fists.

Over the next hour Ayan Xiaojun explained the events leading up to that point. He had shared all the details truthfully and at the back of his mind he knew that Yang Xinyu would never spare him. In the end he just said, "I am here to take the risk with you and help you with taking out Wu Lina from Vladimir's den."

Saying that Yan Xiaojun lowered his head in guilt.

Yang Xinyu heard every detail attentively – he heard every word that Yan Xiaojun spoke. Yes, he felt like killing him. Taking his gun out from his waist belt, he pointed it at him and said, "Yan Xiaojun, you deserve to die! I loathe you!" Slowly Yang Xinyu came near him and held the gun firmly on his temple. Yan Xiaojun broke into cold sweat. Could it be his end? Did he deserved to die like this? Everything became still. They could hear each other breathing heavily.

Just as Yang Xinyu began pressing the trigger, they heard Ivan crying from the bedroom. Yang Xinyu's mind got diverted. His emotions stirred yet again. He lowered his gun and put it back in its holster. He looked at Yan Xiaojun and without flinching for a second he punched him hard on the face.

Yan Xiaojun fell on the sofa he was sitting. He was ready for this so he didn't react. He got up with his fingers on his lips, which had a tear now and the blood was oozing out from them. Slowly, he lifted his face to look at Yang Xinyu. Yang Xinyu's eyes were red. He had a murderous glint in his gaze.

Startled by the loud noise outside, Rosa woke up. She had slept after feeding Ivan to sleep. She ran outside in fear. When she saw that Yan Xiaojun was bleeding, she rushed to his side. As realisation dawned upon her she slapped Yang Xinyu on his arms and said, "Get out!" Then she ran to the bathroom to get cotton and an antiseptic. As she nursed Yan Xiaojun, she saw that Yang Xinyu had again sat back in his chair with his head hung low.

Missing his mother's presence around him, Ivan started crying in the other room. Yan Xiaojun immediately left all of them and went to his son in the bedroom and picked him up in his lap. He stroked his hair and cheeks and cradled him till he fell asleep again. Softly he placed him back on the bed and went back outside. He looked at Rosa who had come out from the bathroom and said, "I am fine. Go back inside to Ivan…"

Rosa nodded and left him after giving a nasty look to Yang Xinyu.

Yan Xiaojun sat down in front of Yang Xinyu and continued, "Yang Xinyu, if you want to save Wu Lina, I can really help you. You see Vladimir and Aleksander trust me. Vladimir has also invited me to stay with him in the mansion. We can use this. I will go and stay near Wu Lina and can give you every day's report."

Yang Xinyu shook his head and said, "I already have someone who is doing this job." Then he became quiet for a moment. An idea occurred to him and he said, "I want you to go and stay at Vladimir's mansion. You have to keep him distracted while we do our job."

"Distracted? In what way?" asked Yan Xiaojun.

"You have keep him engaged in a way that all his energy is focused on you," said Yang Xianyu.

Yan Xiaojun couldn't think of anything. All of a sudden he snapped his fingers and said, "I got a great idea but you have bear with it!"

Yang Xinyu gave him angry looks, "What is it?"

"I can ask Vladimir to give Wu Lina's hand in mine…"
